Village Garage and Tire

My car's water pump blew up about a block from this place. I pulled over, engine smoking. A Glen Ellyn Fire Marshall saw me and came over to help. Guess he responds to smoke! 😉 He pointed across the street to this place and told me they were 'good guys' THEY WERE. Ted and Andrew fixed my car in 1 day, and I was very happy--they saved me from having to get towed! I TOTALLY recommend them as honest and fair.

I’ve been meaning to write this review since the past summer. I normally do whatever work I can myself especially on my vehicles. However I encountered a slight snag with one of mine and searched around for a honest and quality independent shop near me. After scouring for hours, I came across this establishment. Called them and scheduled a day to swing by.

When I went in I was greeted by Ted Sr. Super nice guy and referred me to his son who is the owner operator, Ted Jr. they gave me an estimate on time, turnaround and cost. True to their word, they did exactly that and also listed what they felt could be optional or necessary down the road.

All in all, happy with them and would be open to go back to them in the future should I need their services again.

My son just got his driver's license and we needed a turn singal bulb replaced before I let him take the care. We showed up and asked if they could help us put. It's a pain to do the front bulb on a Ford Escape. They fit us in and in about 15 minutes we were in and out. All around great guys, great local small business, fantastic service. My son said he will bring his own car here if he has to. Highly recommend, and very pleased.

Ted & the team have gone above and beyond for me time and time again. Once I called in a panic after finding a nail in my tire- and even in the middle of a busy day, they told me to come right in and patched it up.

Called on Monday, got an appointment for Tuesday, drove the car there early in the morning, had it back by 2PM. They were fantastic! Explained the issue and how much it cost and got it done quickly. Thank you! Well see you again... but hopefully not too soon :)

Being an older woman, I’m hesitant about mechanical issues! I need people I can trust to be truthful! I have found that with the Village Garage! Thanks Guys!

Great work done by Ted. I have been going to Villade Garage for years. Was referred by my father, who also has been going to Ted for years.

This morning made a quick stop because my Jeep engine light came on last night and found oils indicated was low. Pulled in and asked the young man if he could check really quick . He said sure. He stopped shoveling, came, checked and put some oil in. I am very grateful. Thank you so much.

Great shop. They do all my repairs and tires. During these hard times, it was great to find an honest and trustworthy place.

Ted, the owner knows his craft. Is excellent at it and explains all of the options before any repairs are done. Definitely a place to bring your vehicle for repairs.
