The owners are extremely friendly and took their time to give us a tour of the things they offer. They definitely add a personal touch and connection with their customers. In our case, the owners even personally delivered our purchases after the shop closed since we had walked to the shop and would be carrying a couple of boxes. Talk about awesome customer service and taking care of your customers! They have a genuine kindness and charm you just don't see that much anymore.

Bottom line, you need to go here if you are ever visiting Glen Ellen!

Their knowledge and experience with olive oils and balsamic vinegars will entice you to try something different. I find something new with each visit. They are top on my list when I want gifts whether I am purchasing 1 or 100. This is the place for your "liquid gold"!

The best shop of all Glen Ellyn! They have charcuterie boards, cute wax melters, dressings and the best olive oil ever! Gary helped us pick the right balsamic and oil for our salads! And the best seasoning for our spicy taste buds! Thank you Gary, I miss Glen Ellyn even more now.

An outstanding selection of delicious gourmet olive oils, balsamic & specialty vinegars can be found at Olive ‘n Vinnie’s in quaint Glenn Ellyn. They also have other food items including pasta and a wonderful selection of unique and memorable gifts. We were greeted immediately upon entering the store and graciously assisted with our shopping. I found the prices to be competitive with other specialty olive oil stores I have shopped at. This place is worth checking out. I am so happy to have found this store, my sister and I will definitely be back. Try marinating your chicken in equal parts of Infused Lemon olive oil and Sicilian Lemon balsamic vinegar for a delicious meal.

Absolutely amazing experience visiting this store for the first time! The owner, Karen, was so kind and beyond helpful. I loveeeee the oils I purchased! Karen assisted me in buying a gift for my mother in law that was perfect! Cannot wait to come back!

My friend and I stopped in after brunch nearby because the storefront looked cute and we weren't disappointed! We met (who I believe was) one of the owners and he was very friendly and talkative, offered us a lot of samples, etc. I got two bottles of olive oil and some coffee I absolutely loved. Will definitely come back next time I'm in town!

I never knew I would fall in love with olive oils & balsamics! As soon as I set foot inside this lovely shop, I felt like I was in a candy store. The owners are very sweet, extremely knowledgeable and helpful. It was so hard to walk out of there with only a few items. They have a great selection. Karen made several suggestions, all of which I got and am extremely happy I did!

This is the place to go for your infused olive oils and balsamic! The owner was super helpful and knowledgeable. Lots of options for the cook in your house 😋

We went in not knowing what we wanted, a little overwhelmed by the large selection. The woman who seemed to be the owner showed us several vinegars and olive oils and offered tastes, based on the vague discription I gave her. She knew exactly what we needed, and we left happy. This will be our stock up vinegar and olive oil store now. They have lots of other gourmet goodies, such as popcorn, pasta sauces, and cooking gadgets. Very reasonable prices as well.

So happy to discover this shop. I use to buy a similar variety of oils and vinegars from Idaho and to learn this was in a town nearby is a godsend. The prices are reasonable and the olive oils and balsamics are fantastic quality. You really can elevate your cooking experience to make you look like an all star chef. There are gourmet food items and plenty of other unique gift items. Both Karen and Gary are passionate about their shop and have wonderful suggestions to help you. I highly recommend you go and support local. They also ship.

I can't even put into words how amazing this store and owners are. The variety and taste of the oils are beyond explainable, just truly amazing. They store also has a variety of gifts and other items, including spices. Don't put off going to this store any longer like I did!

Wonderful place to go if you want to bougie up your spice cabinet! Karen is very knowledgeable about the different oil and vinegar pairings and will make sure you try at least a few when you're there (they're delicious by the way). I had no idea how many different kinds there were before stepping into this shop. She also had me try the butter infused olive oil with their black truffle sea salt on some popcorn and it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place if you're seeking some fun flavor in your life.

Olive ‘n Vinnie’s was the best little shop we stumbled upon. Karen was an absolute pleasure and open our eyes to the many different flavors of imported oils. I had so much fun here and everything tasted amazing. Will be back. Felt like a family environment. 😇☺ Thank you Karen!

Went there to get garden tools sharpened (and did), but discovered a world of products and items that appeal to select and varied tastes. The owners are friendly and very well informed about their store inventory. If you're in the area stop in and take a look around. You may be intrigued with what you see, and maybe even learn. BTW - I got my garden tools back in a reasonable time, at a reasonable price. Yes, "I'll be back".

I went to have my knives sharpened and it was a great deal. Dropped them off on Monday and was promised them back by Wednesday. They are sharp and great pricing. While in the shop I did try their olive oils from around the world and I could tell there was differences (reminded me of wine). I purchased a spicy olive oil for sub sandwiches and an aged balsamic vinegar both are outstanding products. Worth a visit for special olive oils and balsamic vinegar.

Olive 'n Vinnie's is Amazing!!!

I came across this delightful store via Groupon and ever so happy I did. We were immediately welcomed by the owner, Karen. Being a complete novice to balsamics and oils, she quickly started to explain them to us encouraged us to sample her products. I can't tell you how these items are opening up a whole new range of cooking and eating possibilities for me. My only regret is that I didn't know about this store until now. I can't wait to visit again and next time I'm planning to go to the sister store, Uptown, which is right nearby. This is a great location right in the heart of Downers Grove near the train. So thankful for Karen's expertise and kindness.

I can't even tell you how much I love this place!!! we found Olive n Vinnie's after going to the Glenn Elynn farmer's market. Karen is so friendly and has special reasons for everything in the shop! You NEED to buy the snacking peanut butter and her signature black truffle salt! Both unbelieveably good, so good we bought extras for our friends as gifts. And MAN do they know their olive oils! I was shopping for a nice spicy, but flavorful, olive oil. And they showed me this AMAZING green pepper olive oil, I put it in my eggs, my corned beef hash, and so much more! they've got great suggestions on what to pair with each olive oil.

I can't recommend this place enough, has to be my all-time favorite family-owned store. My girlfriend and I come here monthly just to buy peanut butter! Can't support these two enough.

Olive 'n Vinnie's is a wonderful shop. They are super friendly, take time to answer questions and have great recommendations. I purchased Truffle Oil, Black Truffle Sea Salt, Butter Infused Olive Oil, Burbon Honey while there and I am not dissapointed. My kids also felt welcomed in the shop which does not often happen especially in specialty shops. They were encouraged to sample different oil flavors and honey. Now they want to know when we can go back. Thank you Olive 'n Vinnie's for the outstanding customer service and delicious products.

Wonderful experience. We came with our daughter and the owner brought her a box with toys so we could shop more. The balsamic and olive oil was AMAZING. We will be coming back and bringing friends. If you are reading this do yourself a favor and stop by
