Wabash General Hospital

Excellent staff, anesthesiologist, surgeons, nurses and housekeeping! My mother fell and broke her hip, she was given exceptional care and respect. They were also very attentive to my needs. I highly recommend this hospital!

They work to find the root of the problem and relieve the problem areas and then the treatment works, they are doing fantastic work with my back, neck and shoulder problem and I’m very pleased to say that what they are doing is helping me very much. From the doctor all the way to the rehab department they are doing a great job and helping me very much. so far they have been great. would definitely recommend to any and everyone. really can’t say enough.

I highly recommend this therapy department of Wabash General Hospital. I’ve had therapy on two knee replacements since February 2018, and have had the pleasure to get to know many of the staff, who have all been very instrumental in what seemed to a very quick rehab of both knees. All the therapists that I came into contact with were very confident in their decisions on what to have me do, to speed my recovery and offer me exercises to do on my own to benefit my recovery. I wish I could come up with more words to say how happy and satisfied I was with the whole team! This is a five star therapy department!

My 12 year old daughter has been a patient of WGH rehab off and on for a few years. We have been there consistently for the last 6 months. They have worked tirelessly to get her to where she needs to be. They have used so many different forms of therapy for her and really tailored it to her needs. She loves all of the therapists there and has come a long way in 6 months.

My physical therapy experience at WGH has been phenomenal. The therapist has always been reactive to my ever changing needs. She is a great encourager, but never too much that it would ever set me back. WGH also has a very professional line of available equipment to use such as the anti gravity treadmill and the balance assessment and trainer. The entire staff have been very friendly in their interactions with me. I have been very impressed and would highly recommend this facility to anyone needing these services.

My Mother passed last April 2021 at WGH. As always, the nursing care was excellent! Dr Jennings and Dr Jani were kind and caring, directing the best medical care to my mother. I have since left Indiana to come home to the best Drs at WGH, and now with Dr Jennings!

My son age 14 went to Wabash General Hospital for an over night sleep study. Ginger explained everything in a way the put him and me as ease. The accommodations were well above our expectations. All the staff were professional, courteous and reassuring. Wabash is our hospital of choice.

I have been a patient at the Wabash General Hospital Rehabilitation facility several times. And each time I have been pleased with the well trained therapists. Most recently with Laura and Joetta, but all have been very good. Thankful to have this facility locally.

I did eight weeks of therapy at the orthopaedics facility, and was treated by no less than four different PT's and PTA's. All were competent professionals and a pleasure to work with. I can say the same about the surgical staff. Thankful to have this great facility close by.

The people at Wabash Gen were courteous and sum to my needs. The instructions were clear and easy according to my problem. Follow up visits to clinic were met with concerns that I had no problems doing my exercises. I am seeing positive results already.

Wabash General Hospital is the best small hospital in the region

When I have an urgent need, I think of WGH first.
Great doctors and staff which are all friendly and courteous. They will say 'hi' to you in the hallways!
Strict Covid-19 procedures are in force. Mask are required, social distance, and plastic shields at all desk locations. Temperatures checks are taken and you are asked about 5 questions.
If visiting a patient at the hospital, only one person a day is allowed. ONLY ONE PER DAY!

Experienced ,wonderful & caring people! I have done physical therapy and now I'm doing aquatic threapy at the YMCA & I absolutely love it! It's the perfect physical therapy for my needs! Thank s to your professional expertise, I'm right where I need to be!

Staff were friendly, courteous and professional. Atmosphere pleasant and encouraging. Given explicit instructions and encouraged to do a little more than I thought I could. Listened to my complaints and whining and praised me for my efforts. Great place to go rehab!

My p/t is Marge. She is kind, caring, compassionate and patient. The perfect type of person to have when you are in pain and looking for help. She is very good in explaining why she is having you do something in a way you can understand. I appreciate her very much. She is always calm and unhurried - I don't feel like a number being hurried up.

Our son has had an awesome experience with the Ortho, Rehab, and Radiology departments at WGH following a knee injury that occurred while playing football! He is making great progress and will be back to sports soon!!

I have had very favorable experiences at WGH. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Their services and departments are rapidly expanding. The facility is modern and well up kept. WGH is a huge supporter of our local community. We are lucky to have them in our little town. Their motto is so very true "People you know helping people you love".

I really like the therapist that I worked with! She did an excellent job had me on the mend in no time at all! It was very easy for me to get an appointment there and get in quickly!

Was recently a patient and have nothing but good thoughts the staff was awesome. They were right there when I needed them and have never been treated as nice at any other hospital. Would highly recommend!!

This is a much better hospital than would be expected in a small town.
Dr. Fullop is fantastic, with people coming from miles away to come here instead of going to bigger cities, such as Evansville or Terre Haute.

The cafeteria has good food with great biscuits and gravy, which can be purchased without staying at the hospital.

I just had Total Right Shoulder Replacement surgery. I choose Wabash General not only for the location to my house but, the quality of care is superior. Thank's Wabash General.
