Very friendly staff. The $7.00 fish and chips was great. Great value for the food too.

I stopped for breakfast on my way between Minneapolis and Omaha. This is a simple, small town diner with good food at fair prices. The service was prompt and friendly. I'll likely stop again if I'm in the area.

Our family stopped in as a party of 9 on our way through last minute and even for a big party we were quickly greeted and got drinks we ordered a mix of lunch and breakfast and everyone loved their meals! Our waitress was wonderful The prices are great too! Honestly just an amazing experience!

We stayed in Sac City for a few months and this place is just great. Some of the BEST burgers and omelettes you could ever ask for, made to order and at a great price. Patty the owner and main cook works extra hard and it shows. The fried walleye every Friday makes your mouth water all week waiting for it it's so good. The staff was always great and you really have to thank them for showing up and seeing them at their best and worst because help is hard to find in Iowa right now.
We really enjoyed every meal we had and it's gonna be hard to find a place to match those burgers. 😊

This is a great mom and pop place! Stopped in on Sunday lunch while traveling through area. Looked busy from outside, but still had space when we walked in. Food and staff were great. The ice cream dessert with the Sunday buffet was a delicious ending!

Wow! This tiny lil diamond in rough is absolutely amazing! Best med rare steak ever! I can't say enough about how well this steak was cooked...literally to perfection! Staff was pleasant and took great care to prepare our meals sep (shellfish allergy) place was clean! Definitely will be back! I'd give 100 stars if i could!

My family and I went to Hutch's for a quick breakfast and were pleasantly surprised at the quality and deliciousness of the food! I highly recommend the cinnamon rolls! They tasted super fresh and homemade. We will be back!

Eaten there most every time I meet my friend from kindergarten to chat. They have tasty home cooked meals, good variety and many people eat there often. Not at all fancy, but great food at a reasonable price in short order.

I used to drive between Sioux City and Cedar Rapids/Iowa City a lot back when highway 20 came right by this place and I always made it a point to stop here for breakfast. The service is fast and accommodating and the food is pretty great as well - tastes like it was made right there in grandma's kitchen! It's super easy on the wallet as well. When you eat breakfast at a small town diner like this one you wonder why you ever eat at the fast food chains.

Food was great and very reasonable and our waitress was amazing. Very friendly atmosphere and Food came out speedy fast.

Delightful place to eat. Food served hot - was good and plenty of French fries. Cafe was clean and inviting, people were friendly.

My wife and I have had Easter and Thanksgiving dinner at Hutch's Cafe within the last 6 months. The place is family-owned and the manager, Jenny, could not be more personable. They serve traditonal holiday fare, which is very tasty. We were at the last Thanksgiving seating and realized that the family meal commenced immediately after the last guests finished their meals. No better way to gauge the authenticity of home-cooked meals than when the proprietor serves the same meal to the family members.

My mother-in-law and my wife's aunt loved the different pies they offer for dessert. You can't go wrong at Hutch's.
