Another place out in the middle of nowhere. Rural Iowa at its best. Your vehicle will get dirty getting there. Acres of prime farmland and woods turned into a hunting and hiking mecca. Once there, check out the main section and the accompany topographical map. It shows you the boundaries of the area. Just to spend an hour or two is well worth it here. In my opinion you won't be disappointed. Small parking area. Keep in mind that hunting IS permitted here. Make sure you check which season it is.

This is a nice place to visit. We brought our dog and three kids. There were three trails, we took a the one (facing the park) to the left. You can walk about 20 min (we had three kids and two dogs) before the trail ends and then can head back.

The trail towards the front specifically seemed for hunting.

We did not see any bathroom, playground, picnic tables etc.
