The Dessert Fork

Yoooooo this cake came out better than I could have dreamed! It was the perfect centerpiece to my FairyCore tea party birthday luncheon. And it was delicious to boot! Had everyone asking, “That’s a CAKE?!” I cried cutting into it. The 6” round was enough for 10 people and we still brought leftovers home.

I was on the hunt for some good red velvet cake. I read a couple of reviews and ended up here after the first place on my list was sold out. I walked in and a class was going on, in the lobby but I was welcomed in and I browsed the display case. I noticed the red velvet cupcakes were topped with red velvet cake (which is not what I was looking for at all). I asked the gentleman behind the counter if they had any red velvet cupcakes without the cake on top. He offered to go ice one for me. I am so glad he did.

The red velvet cupcakes here are AMAZING!!! The only thing that would make it better, is if they added some pecans on top of the frosting (instead of the cake). Then it would be perfect! It was soooo good, you have to try these cupcakes! It was the right color, it was moist, and it had the right taste. With the first bite you are hesitant because all red velvet cake is not created equal. With this one, after one bite I was like yes, this is it!

My twins wanted a Marvel/Godzilla themed cake and I had no idea how to pull it off. Pauline did it. This was amazing! The kids loved the atomic breath, and it tasted wonderful.

I showed them a picture of what I was wanting and they worked with me to recreate that look within my budget. The cake turned out beautifully and was very rich and tasty. The deep vanilla smell alone was wonderful. Thank you!

Wonderful desserts! We tried the lemon bar, cheesecake, and cookie butter bar. All were so delicious and sweet! The employees were kind and patient and explained each that we asked about very well. Will definitely be back next time we need a cake or just want some dessert. Thank you! 😊

What an absolutely special bakery we have right here in Huntsville. I loved visiting the Dessert Fork - as the name truly indicates what you emotionally will be in for - a fork full (and belly) of delicious desserts! Firstly...

The most standout thing: the quality ingredients. I taste real butter, quality vanilla, and real cream cheese. The cakes are moist, but *real*. The crusts are crisp with butter. Yum. Yum. Yum.

I suggest trying their *very good coffee*. Go full black with it, and then have a *change your life* biscoff bar. One small bite, then one sip of coffee. Yum. The coconut cream pie is my absolute favorite. Absolutely nothing artificial tasting, all tastes like a real, quality baked good.

The shop, too, is really, very, incredibly gorgeous and cozy spot with mindful social distancing. The staff is kind and fast, and the owner is a true gem. Thank you thank you thank you Dessert Fork Cakes!!

Dessert Fork saved the day! I had a Wedding Shower bake treat emergency this past weekend. I went to Dessert Fork and they pulled through. She was able to pull 60 treats together for me in two hours. Not only did she save the day but the mini pies were delicious! I highly recommend.

We walked in to find a small cake for our 2 year old's birthday. The staff was friendly and helpful. We got a small round vanilla cake and a slice of strawberry cake. Both were DELICIOUS. They were light and flavorful.

I have been trying to find a new favorite bakery since moving up here. I found it.

Really good cupcakes! This was my first time stopping In and it was worth it! I ended up not only getting myself a cupcake but bought extras for my office ladies as well. They also sell Gift Certificates if your not quite sure what to buy for someone, these make a great little "Thank You" gift. The staff was very helpful and patient with me while I tried to decide what all to get, it all looked great!

We thoroughly enjoyed Dessert Fork's incredible chocolate cake and lemon custard, merangue pie. The cake was possibly the most moist and flavorable we've ever experienced. The pie was absolutely perfect! So beautiful! And the flavorful filling was complimented by the flakiest, most wonderful home made crust I've ever tasted! ...I know this must sound like I am related to these folks or something! I am not. I am just very impressed by their skill - and they are super nice to boot! Thanks! We will definitely be using you again.

I thoroughly enjoyed the treats provided by the owner at her beautiful and clean bakery. It is well taken care of. My husband and I enjoyed our banana pudding and the kids enjoyed their strawberry and red velvet cupcakes. Keep up the good work and I wish the owner many more blessings at her business and in future endeavors.

I had cookies made for my son's rehearsal dinner in various shapes, designs and colors even sent Pauline a picture of a bride and groom cookie. Everything was perfect! I can't thank her and her staff enough for helping make that night memorable with her treats. Thanks so much. BTW her strawberry pretzel salad was pretty awesome too!

Had our first visit today and The Dessert Fork did not disappoint! We got the restaurant week special and all three options were delicious. Everything is homemade and you can taste the difference. So pleased we have a local bakery to utilize for celebrations and treats!

Love, love, love this bakery!! I have been here several times and have never been disappointed!! Pauline is so sweet and treats you like family! I highly recommend this bakery! The margarita cupcakes, banana pudding, and the pretzel salad is the best!!

Favorite cupcakes and cakes ever! So delicious. The owner is always coming up with new and tasty creations. I love the margarita cupcakes and the strawberry cake! Pauline's cakes are one of a kind. She has done several special event cakes for us.
She is an amazing artist with a great eye for detail.

I had the chocolate strawberry cupcake. It was super moist and very good. The cake had a great chocolate flavor and the icing was fantastic. My son had a chocolate cupcake with chocolate icing. We also picked up a couple sugar cookies. The cupcakes we're so good we took home a couple of slices of cake.

I am soooo happy that The Dessert Fork has come to our area! They have so many yummy treats that it’s always very hard to choose just one. Plus, Pauline & her great staff are so talented & helpful when you need something custom created for any special occasion. I highly recommend The Dessert Fork for any sweet treat you can eat!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake was SO delicious! Everyone loved it.

I ordered a slice of their chocolate cake, and it was some of the best cake I've ever had! The Dessert Fork had a wonderful atmosphere and great customer service. I will definitely be going back.
