The female pharmacist that is working today - 8/5/2022 is amazing, and so nice !!! She heard me tell the receptionist that I had a bicycle accident last night and was very sore around my ribs. She immediately stopped what she was doing and walked over to talk to me and showed me a pain patch I needed versus what I had picked up. If I could give 100 stars on this review I would!

I showed up a few minutes after closing time, in need of some medicine that has to be bought behind the counter. I always hate to keep anyone late, because i know they have families to get home to, just like i do. Not only did they stay late and allow me to get what I needed, but they were very friendly and helpful. It's this kind of customer service that makes me very loyal to Publix, and will insure that i remain that way.
Great Job!

I used this pharmacy for the first time a couple days ago and was very pleased with the service. The prescription my doctor had written was incomplete but Dr. Gamble took time to call the doctor to clarify the intent and was able to fill the prescription without having me go back to the doctor's office.

Don't bother talking to the pharmacist, she is pretty rude and generally has no clue what she's doing when it comes to people and computer skills. The other pharmacy techs, on the other hand, are awesome! Super helpful and friendly!
Overall, the pharmacist really brings this location down. My wife and I know multiple people who have changed locations and get prescriptions elsewhere purely because of the inept pharmacist.

I don't know what happened to this pharmacy but over the last few months but they have become completely unreliable. Even if you call in your prescription, have an automatic refill, you still call top remind them it's never ready on time. They put people who need to have there medication daily at risk. If their was a change in management they need to do something. They are putting lives at risk. Absolutely horrible.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer last year. After a years worth of treatments I was prescribed a medication that I needed to start to help prevent my cancer from coming back. My prescription was sent over in the morning at 10:30 am directly from my oncologist appointment. I waited, I called and was told I would receive a text as soon as it was completed. The next day I was told that my medication was not a priority. When I picked up the medication it was a medication that all they had to do was place their label on it. There was no counting pills. Just simply picking it up from the shelf and putting a label on it. So this should serve as a caution that Publix pharmacy is not in the fight with cancer patients as our medication is not a priority.

Came for lunch Nov 9th. No buffet tables tables and the chicken wings and wedges I bought out the warmer were cold and had condensation. Nasty got sick off it and wasted $18. Stopped for lunch driving a truck and couldn't return it

Literally had the pharmacist call me up and tell me they were refusing to issue me the medication that my primary doctor prescribed. Having never met me or my doctor before, and having no knowledge of any of my medical history(not to mention being completely unqualified to make such a judgment), she said that she didn't personally believe that the medication should be prescribed for my specific illness, so she was refusing to issue it on principle. I was extremely confused... I told her that my primary care doctor had prescribed this medication and I was following his recommendation. She made some insulting snip about how she had heard that "some doctors" were prescribing this medication to people, and then insinuated that they basically didn't know what they were doing and were potentially endangering their patients.

If you want to have an active role in the medical decisions of patients (especially ones you've never met and have no history on), go back to medical school and become a doctor. Until then, your job is to fill prescriptions that real doctors decided their patients needed based on real-life scenarios and their much more well-informed judgment. If you want to spin conspiracy theories and refuse to issue life-saving treatment to your patients/customers, you should not be in any kind of medical role.

This is no different than the nurse in the news recently that injected thousands of patients with a fake vaccine. How could I possibly trust any medication or vaccine shots from this pharmacy knowing that their employees arbitrarily decide to only issue medications that they personally believe in? Utterly ridiculous.

The only reason I am not pressing this issue much harder with Publix as a corporation is because she agreed on my insistence to transfer my prescription to another Publix where apparently pharmacists actually do their jobs.

I went to fill my child's prescription yesterday afternoon before 6pm. After waiting in line for 15 minutes I was told that it wasn't ready but it would be ready in an hour and that I will get a text when it is done. I did not receive a text until 9 am today saying that it was ready. When I got to the drive through window two ladies were standing there and both looked over at me but neither of them came to the window for about 5 minutes. When one finally came she said "Can I help you" like I was bothering her. I told her my child's name and she just walked off. She returned and said that she needed a signature and gave me something to sign then walked off again. I was then told that the medicine was being mixed and that it would be a few minutes. So I basically waited yesterday for no reason only to be told that it would be done in an hour. Didn't get a message saying it was done until the next day. Arrived 2 hours after they said that it was done and STILL ended up waiting again AND dealing with an employee who acted like I annoyed her by showing up to pick up a prescription. Worst experience that I've ever had at a pharmacy.

If you want someone to take your money and be rude while doing so, this is the place for you. My wife and I have came to the conclusion all of our prescriptions will be moved elsewhere. The convenience isn't worth it. I'd rather drive all the way to Memorial Parkway and be treated with respect.
