Mia's Cafe

This cafe is in a small strip mall. They have a very friendly staff and serve breakfast and lunch. I stopped by for breakfast and was not disappointed. I got a 2 egg and country ham breakfast with cheese grits. The country ham was great and the toast was surprisingly good. It wasn’t your typical white bread and it wasn’t full on multigrain. It was delicious though. I would highly recommend this place.

UPDATE: We've been back several times. The staff is so friendly. We're greeted with multiple smiles. Still not keen on the booth seating if someone's behind us, but they're usually leaving shortly after we arrive.

The pancakes are good, the French toast is DELICIOUS. I usually add fresh strawberries to both, but they stand alone just fine.

Everyone should try it. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food.

Very friendly staff. The food is pretty good, you'll need to add your own salt/pepper to grits and eggs, but I don't think that's a bad thing. After ordering, our food arrived pretty quickly. It was hot and fresh.

We walked in and were seated right away around 8 a.m. both times we came. Once after Daylight Savings and the other was a Friday. So it's not the best representation of how crowded it can get, as we've seen a line before.

I wasn't too fond of the seating. There were no dividers between the booths. My head was about 5 inches away from the person behind me. Thankfully they left to pay shortly after we were seated. Aside from Covid, I don't want to sit that close to a stranger while I'm eating.

We'll likely be back, as long as it's not crowded.

Came here for breakfast with family. We were a group of 8. They did a good job of seating us promptly. Our food was delivered to the table in a reasonable amount of time. The food was very good and tasty. The coffee is excellent. Definitely will be back.

We are from out of town and this is our first time in the southern states. Mia's Cafe's food was really good and service was great. We were seated right away despite having a party of 6 which includes 2 kids. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the Biscuit with Sausage Gravy and a side of bacon. The Biscuit was flaky and buttery, not at all salty (like I've had back home) the gravy was really good, too. All the ones I've had back home have been heavy and gloopy, and this was just right all around. I really enjoyed the whole meal.

Our server was very kind and attentive. Will definitely be visiting again before heading back home.

My son and I walked into the restaurant, was welcome with a big smile, and seated right away. I ordered the country fried steak breakfast which was all cooked fresh and delicious. They made a Micky mouse pancake for my son which he enjoyed. I tasted the pancakes and they were light and fluffy. Great pancakes! The customer service was exceptional. We will definitely be going back.

Mia's Cafe is a large one room dining restaurant featuring a southern style menu. This was our first visit. The restaurant seems clean and well kept. They have a full wait staff with plenty of seating. Tables are nice and clean and even the restrooms smell nice and were clean as well. Dinner plates were about $10 with plenty of sides. Kids meals were portioned well and not too expensive. With a family of four we spent about $37 for dinner and they do offer a military discount. I got the chicken and dumpling plate and my wife got the potato soup and BLT.

The food was freakin amazing! The mac and cheese was so good. I think if you're looking for something a little different than the typical Madison, AL fast food chains and want something with some good southern flair this is a good, convenient, local stop.

Love this place. Only had breakfast, but it was fantastic!!!! You may have to wait a bit, but it's worth it. It's not fancy, but somehow it's very cozy. Just feels like a great place.

I had breakfast here for the first time. The pancakes, sausage links, eggs, and has brown casserole were fantastic. I would recommend eating here.

Just moved to this side of town and tried this place for breakfast today. Exceeded ALL expectations! Friendly staff who are willing to go above and beyond for their customers. Clean and such a cute atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back!

Had a Wonderful breakfast!! Great southern cooking and hospitality!! They do lunch also. Highly recommend if you need some made to order country food.

Mia's Cafe is FANTASTIC! Great food, well proportions and reasonably priced. Jose and his crew are friendly, helpful and will go out of their way for the customer. They also have (extra hot) hot sauce. Highly recommend for breakfast and lunch.

Food has always been hot, fresh, and enjoyable. Service has always been exceptional.

We went on a Saturday afternoon and had a very pleasant experience. We ordered breakfast food and it was fresh and hot. Our drinks were refilled 4 or 5 times. Wonderful friendly service and a nice atmosphere. Everything is very clean and well maintained. Everything on the menu is very reasonably priced.

Absolutely great place! Andres was our server. One of the nicest servers I have ever had. The food was great. 5 of us ate and everything we ordered was hot and cooked perfectly. Very very pleased and def will come back someday!

The food was delicious and the staff were all friendly and welcoming.
