Goodland Pour House

We had lunch here on a stormy day, so it was pretty slow. My husband got the house salad with grilled salmon, and I got the express lunch - loaded veggie sandwich with the berry Garcia salad. And of course, a couple beers to pair with it.

Both were SOO good! We thoroughly enjoyed everything, including our waiter!!

Will definitely be coming back!

Our server, Aspin was the BEST!! She was so helpful with helping us figure out which food & drinks to get. Everything we got- animal fries, the notorious p.i.e, Caesar salad, and 2 sours, were so amazing!! We can’t wait to come back again and try more! The atmosphere was also great.

What a great find thanks to Google! They have a good variety of Southern beers, really good food (We had the Tennessee Hot chicken Sandwich and the Tennessee Hot Fish and chips) and awesome service from our bartender Maria!

Went to this place yesterday night and I had a great time ate well the server was knowledgeable and was able to direct me and my buddy to some great food ideas since it was our first time there. Quality all around was great and we'll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu and beers. Kai and his partner definitely have something good going with this place.

The food is always cooked to perfection. Today was my second go at the “Berry Garcia” salad. I asked for grilled chicken to compliment the meal as I am trying to eat healthier. The kitchen had no issues with my request, and food was delivered to my table in a timely manner. This spot is comfortable, clean, and friendly to everyone.

I’ve been wanting to go here for awhile because I saw it on Instagram and it looked so good! We went and ordered the pepperoni pizza, pesto cheese sticks, and my husband got a burger. It was all phenomenal! That’s I think my favorite pizza I’ve ever had and we had a great time there. We also had the chocolate mousse dessert and it was divine! The staff was nice and we’re definitely planning to go back- I know I’m going to be craving that pizza a lot in the future!

A GEM of a restaurant in Madison! Every time we eat here, I find myself thinking about how good the food and drinks were for several days 😊 Aspin was a fantastic server and was super attentive! The family-friendly location always has great service and the food is as good as it gets for meeting everyone's tastes! The variety is wonderful, and we have eaten anything on the menu we haven't enjoyed! The Brussel sprouts and pizzas are family favorites!

Great place for some Detroit style pizza and quality beer. The Lt. Dan, their Cajun pizza, has a solid balance of heat and cheesy goodness. If I were to nitpick, I'd have to point out a couple of minor things: the OG that we had was just slightly underbaked in the center (but not by much) and the air conditioning was wildly unbalanced (the thermostat is right by the pass so most of the restaurant is extremely cool; I'm warm natured and was reaching for my hoodie).

I've been there many times and will happily go back.

An absolute gem! The Notorious PIE was perfect with the burrata and hot honey. Beer selection is big enough to try something different every visit. Aspin was great at beer and food recommendations. Can’t wait for my next visit!

Food was EXCELLENT!!! The menu is so unique and the food is fantastic. I would recommend this place to anybody, it is such a hidden gem. It can be busy because it is not a huge place, so I would either call ahead or be wary of the time I chose to go.
Aspen was our waitress and I got the Brisket onion ring sandwhich. Love this place!

Great food. Some of the best fries ever. Royale with Cheese is a excellent burger. Fish and chips were on point. Will be back.

Update 9/23/23: You should consider good land pour house for your game day viewing. I had a pizza and and Julia kept the beer flowing. Good times!

Update: They no longer do thirsty Thursdays but they do have a happy hour that runs Tues - Thurs, 4:30 - 6:30. $5 on all drafts and wine. Can't beat it. Still love this place so much. Never had a bad experience.

I love this place. I go at least once a month and everything I've ever had has been amazing. I've never had a bad meal here and the service is always great.

Also, I'm huge fan of Thirsty Thursday. If the food wasn't enough to pull you in, you can't beat $4 select drafts on Thursday!

Awesome restaurant and great beer. I had the Detroit style deep dish and my wife had a burger. Both were amazing! The beers they have on draft are really really good. Smells a bit like cigar smoke inside (because this location is right next to a cigar lounge), but the smell isn’t overpowering and you get used to it in 30 seconds. This place is definitely going to be a frequent spot for me! Really loved it!

The brussel sprouts were great, a little spicy. The service was good, the amount of food we had leftover after being stuffed to the gills. We will come again.

This was our first time dining here, and it was one of the best we’ve been to. Jake was our waiter and he was AWESOME!!! Great customer service and food was DELICIOUS! I had the steak frites, and my husband had salmon and grits; the presentation of the food was great! We also had the cheesecake and it was delicious as well. We will definitely be eating here again soon!

A friend and I stopped here for a late lunch. We ordered lunch along with the Brussels sprouts appetizer per the suggestion of our server, Jake. Great suggestion! The sprouts had a sweet and spicy sauce that was very good! Our server, Jake, was very attentive to our requests and made sure everything with our food was perfect. Thank you, Jake, for taking great care of us during our dining experience.

So impressed with Goodland. Had a wonderful lunch today. The best fish and chips I have ever tasted with none of the greasy mess. My wife had the brisket sandwich and it was also delicious from what I tasted of it. Will definitely be back to try more items but I might have found my favorite in the fish. Not crowded, fast lunch and a carefully selected menu that seems to value quality of food over an over complicated menu. Portions were great. Will need to come back for appetizers and beers sometime.

Temple and Maria are awesome. Food is great. This is an amazing looking and tasting lunch.

Dined in this afternoon with Tyler. He was extremely nice, prompt & very productive while servicing us! Very friendly/knowledgable about the menu. The food was amazing. We had Brussels Sprouts and a pizza with jerk chicken& curry. It was delicious! Didn’t get any pictures because we ate it so fast

My husband and I have been here a handful of times since we moved here a year ago and every time we go it’s absolutely phenomenal. They don’t pay their chef Molly enough money, the food that comes from her kitchen is straight up something from a five star restaurant. Everything is basically made from scratch and there hasn’t been a single thing I’ve ordered that we didn’t just absolutely love. The cool runnings pizza, you’ll be deceased! The beer rotates all the time, so we always get something new! Also, the staff is such a vibe! Sit at the bar, they have some cool cats there! Great place!
