A great place for pet needs. The ladies running it we're so much help. I wish this place was closer. I'd shop here for all my pets needs. Local is always better than the big box stores.

Okay folks, so there are places that are multi million dollar corporations that deal in the world of keeping your pet happy, and hey, I applaud those businesses, they do have what you need to keep your pet happy. But, Pets Love & Happiness, this is a whole different experience for not only your beloved fur baby, but, for you as a pet owner, let me explain my experience. So as some of you who may review and follow my reviews in the year of our lord 2021 October 18th I lost the queen of my life, my mother, some of you may ask, why is he mentioning this? Well a year before my mother's departure into the realm of angels she was having some issues with her little chihuahua named Snoopy, he was very picky when eating, and I say was, as he, though only 6 years old went shortly after to be with his momma, but my mother asked me, "where can I find some regular food that he might like?" I said good question, we lived not even an eighth of a mile from PLH, so I drove her there, the unique look of the house turned pet heaven on earth was the first reason of my endeavor with mother. As we arrived and I helped my mother into the store, we were greeted with a very nice woman who immediately turned her full attention to us, as I explained the situation and type of dog, she used her immediate knowledge of animals and started to name off different varieties of dog grub, she made it sound delicious lol, so my mother being on fixed income I was going to pay for whatever was needed, the lady said no way! She began to grab samples of different types of food, some organic, some mixed, there was 4, maybe 5 bags, she said let him try these and if he likes any of them come back and we will get him hooked up. We took them home and sure enough he loved every one of them, from that point until my mother's passing, that's the place she went for every need. I do apologize for such abnormally long review, but I felt this was one that also touched on a loving memory of that one day that I shall never forget, so, PLH, thank you from my heart for making an eternal memory with my mother.....so there you have it folks, whether you live next door or 20 miles away, the trip, the hospitality, the prices, the atmosphere, its the place these corporations wish they could be, I highly recommend Pets Loves & Happiness, for all of your needs for the animals in your life.

This is our holistic go-to dog store we come here every 2 weeks for our dog food and our dogs love it! Won't get our dog food any place else.

The folks at this business are incredible, and outstanding with pet care. Not only do they have the utmost care for your pet, but go above and beyond for actual pet care. Going anywhere else in Huntsville for pet food/goodies/supplies does not compare, this place is a rare gem.

We love being able to buy special items like goat's milk and Zignature food for Maggie Moo, and her brothers Boone and Porkchop, right here in Huntsville!

The owner is very personable and knowledgeable. My 12 y/o hound began to suffer a handful of health issues and had nearly broken her spirit. The advice and guidance I received (for free) led to some simple diet changes and with a better understanding of my dogs nutritional requirements my best friend is herself again! Everyone should visit this store, you will not regret it!

I have been coming to the shop a little over a year and Rebecca has become my go-to person and pets love and happiness is the only place that I go for my pet needs now. Not only is Rebecca extremely knowledgeable about all of her products she also has a heart of gold! Go visit her store at least once and I promise you will not be disappointed!

After the dog food my dogs had been eating got discontinued I tried several different brands. My poor dogs went through all sorts of stomach problems.
The owner who has had a pet shop for years, spent a lot of time helping me pick out the perfect dog food. After just 2 days eating this brand all their stomach problems are solved. I didn't mention the brand because you should let the owner help you buy whats perfect for your pet.

They were helpful and patient with me. And my puppy absolutely LOVES her new natural treats!

The owner genuinely cares about the folks that shop in her store. When I first moved to the area and was struggling to survive , she made sure I had what I needed to feed my dogs. This lady is a true angel. Wish I could give it more than 5 stars

I am incredibly impressed with everything in this shop! There is an amazing selection of all things holistic and the owner, Rebecca, is friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about pet nutrition. I am trying to switch my kitties over to a natural diet and although I've done quite a bit of research on the topic, I still had a whole lot of questions...each cat (I have 4 of them) has a unique health history (all are rescues, one has cystitis and likely IBD, one is overweight, one has nearly every common respiratory virus, the other is a totally healthy tank lol) and Rebecca gave recommendations for each. I also have a rescue dog who has hypothyroidism, and is having joint pain, Rebecca gave me an awesome recommendation for a joint supplement that is also soft enough to hide her thyroid pills in! You can tell that animals are her passion and she has dedicated herself to helping them by helping to educate us. If you are interested in feeding your pets a more natural diet, I HIGHLY recommend checking out Pets Love & Happiness... but be warned ALL holistic pet food is pricey. I will say that her prices are better than big box stores and online pet retail stores though, so again, for your pet's health, check it out!

I came by here because I was in the area visiting family and I saw that they carried a brand of dog collars and leashes that I love and wanted to get for my two dogs! The owner was out of town and had a friend helping watch the store and although she was new to working in the store and answering all the questions customers might have had she was SO friendly and helpful and made it clear that we could come back or call when the owner was back if we wanted to follow up with any questions! They had a wide variety of natural foods and supplements for dogs as well as a ton of collars, toys, leashes, treats and more! If I am back in the area I would definitely come back again!!!

I love to shop here for my dog, Rudi. He is a picky eater, but the owner, a dear, sincere, and kind person, always shows me a variety of foods that are appealing to Rudi and also very good for him. The store is chock-full of amazing dog toys, healthy treats, and tasty (according to Rudi) toppers!

I've purchased my dogs' and cats' food here for years and Rebecca is wonderful and knowledgeable. She tries hard to help her customers - she has been a great resource for me for the nutritional health of my pets over the years!
