Reel Time Lodging and Guide service

This is THE motel in Seadrift, without question. Seadrift, TX. is an old-school, no-frills fishing village and for this, Reel Time is perfect in all aspects.

The rooms are extremely clean and really spacious for any motel room anywhere, as well as being the most modern in town. There is plenty of space to park trailered boats, and there is an equipped space to clean them. In the back, there are really large, peaceful lawns.

Across the street is the most popular restaurant in the area, La Terrazza, and it is only a 3 minute walk to various stores including a Dollar General . . . this is a tiny town with few options so Reel Time is about as close as it gets. The owner is gracious, dependable, fair, and hands-on; she even cleans the rooms herself, which indicates first-person accountability. So for those who are love to fish without the superfluous fanfare and hassle, Reel Time checks all the boxes.

p.s. If I were a snowbird who loves to fish, I would park it here for a few months during the winter. The rooms are definitely big enough that you could spread out, and make it your own.

Our central ac went out and we needed a cool place to sleep. Nyla Woods and the Reel Time crew made that possible. The room was clean, odor free and very comfortable!

Clean rooms that are huge! We've stayed at Reel time many times in the past and the beds are very comfortable. This is a small business but is well run by very friendly folks. Many times when we arrive late, they will leave a key for us. We'll be back for certain.

Reel Time Lodging was so great! Best hotel in Seadrift by a landslide. The rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Satellite TV, microwaves and mini refrigerators included. The inside has just been refurbished in the last 3 years. We truly enjoyed our homey stay at Reel Time!

Visiting family members have booked rooms at Reel Time on two occasions and have been very pleased with the accommodations in every aspect. Their rooms were clean and quiet, and they really appreciated the coffee to start their morning! Very accommodating!

Such a great find! We have tried a few different places in Seadrift for quick weekend trips & this is BY FAR the best option. Very fair prices, great customer service, clean/spacious rooms with hotel like amenities. It was quiet, beds were comfortable and there is room to park your boat right outside your door. While not right on the water, location is convenient. Located down the road from a few different restaurants. I have already recommended this place to others and felt the need to recommend to all of you! We will definitely be back. - Britney & Michael

Bar far the best place to stay in Seadrift. Clean, comfortable, great customer service and priced fairly. One of the owners, Kenny is a great fishing guide as well.
