If your in Oakland or outlying area, this is the go to place for choice selection of meat. Home of the (soon to be) world famous "Moo Pig" ground meat, Oakland Meat Market has a selection of fresh cut meats and excellent prices on freezer packed meats.

Today was my first experience with "Moo Pig" which has the consistency of lean ground beef. The hamburgers I made with it grilled beautifully with very minimal flare up. Despite being a lean meat, the burgers were very juicy and abounded with the flavor of bacon. When you stop in for a great deal on ribs, steaks or chicken, don't forget pick up a pound or two.

Ran in on the recommendation of a friend, and this place is great. good selection of all the major cuts you could need. They did not have a cut i was looking for, and they were happy to order it for me as well. super great customer service and quality food.

I so wanted my husband to stop here instead of McDonald’s.
However, although we saw the Mexican restaurant, and the pawn shop, we whizzed right by without seeing the sign. 😖. He insists he slowed down and looked. How about a Big sign?

Love this place. Great and friendly staff. Prices are about the same as Kroger (unless they are running specials) but, you can immediately tell it is better quality meat which is why I give them 5/5.

We buy porterhouse, tbone and just stopped to pick up 10 new york strips for the weekend that look great. Meat is very pricey everywhere but, I've always recieved great quality meat from Oakland Meat Market. When it comes to steaks this where we shop.

$3.89 each for fresh 8 oz ribeyes with decent marbling. Best deal I've seen anywhere. Nice and friendly staff. Will go back again!

Fast, friendly. Great steaks. Love the "moo pig" (it's like having your bacon cheesburger with the bacon built in!) and they've got the BEST bacon, steaks, and already ready kabobs. Check out the frozen section for some great things you may not think of going to a meat market to purchase. For example, cheddar garlic biscuits, chicken strips, rolls, corn dogs, and a variety of vegetables. Don't forget to pick up your fresh from- the-farm, brown eggs as well. AND in case you forgot the potato for your steak, the have them too.

They have the best meats and deals. Their Ribeyes are the best. You can fill your freezer with one of their bundle deals and will have plenty of food for a while

That's a true butcher shop. If they don't have what you looking for, they bring out the meat and cut to your desire. A great place, never been disappointed
