This hospital is top notch!! The experience with the staff here was amazing!! The surgeons who performed my appendix removal were super professional! My nurses Fabian, Kaitlin, Edward and Adam were very caring and friendly!!!! Also a young lady by the name of Diana who helped transport me to my room was super nice and courteous!!! Could not be more satisfied!! Thank you very much for turning a bad health experience to a great one at the end of the whole process!! I would highly recommend this facility to anyone and their loved ones!

Got excellent & immediate attention today as my son is allergic to bees and got stung by 7 yellow jacket bees. Thankful and beyond blessed for the PA and nurses and all staff that assisted today through my sks care and treatment upon this unexpected incident! Quality of Service and Quality of care for my son was beyond excellent! To the Dr that had so much patience because i was so scared seeing my son in soo much pain. Thank you Sr! God bless and God Bless todays Team !

5 stars all well deserved! The nursing staff in L&D and Mother Baby were phenomenal. The overall care, professionalism and assertiveness of the staff around my family and I left a positive impression. Both my night and day nurse were amazing and will always hold a special place in my heart helping me as I labored and gave birth to my baby boy. I will be returning to Valley Baptist Medical Center and highly recommend their Labor and Delivery center.

First time having surgery and being hospitalized, it has been a good experience overall. Orthopedic dept. Nurses and Assistants are very caring Bianca, Alpha, Sue, Lupita, Adam, Sam, Marcos, Jorge, Mia. Dr. Patil and his crew and those behind the scenes. Food service always on time with warm food and Housekeeping always checking up on swapping out linen and towels and keeping area clean. No one ever wants to be hospitalized, but they made the journey easier. May God Bless you all!

I gave birth to a healthy baby girl on August 8, 2024. I had such a great experience at this hospital. All of the staff was great and very helpful. I will definitely recommend this hospital to anybody needing excellent care.

Some of the freindiest nurses I have ever met great care and consideration for their patients, the cardiac floor was full of some real upbeat atmosphere I cannot believe how top notice the care I got was. Special thanks to Marco Flores , Branden and all the rest of the professionals that were there to help me out when I needed it. They have no idea how much it means to have a smiling face and great attitude checking in on you when you not feeling well and away from home. Thank you all and God Bless.

Fabian Soto was an amazing nurse. Very attentive to other patients and myself. He explained everything the best he could & let me know how the process would go. He continued to reassure me despite the panic I was in. Honestly one of the best ER experiences I have had.

Thank you for the nurses on an outstanding care for my dad, Alfred & Olivia. Also, Isaac for checking on how services are going during our care. It’s great to know my dad is being taken care of ny staff. Great job floor 3!

My wife and I had an exceptional experience at Valley Baptist Harlingen Hospital during the birth of our child. From the moment we arrived, the entire Mother-Baby team went above and beyond to ensure that we were well taken care of. The facility was impeccably managed, with a clean and welcoming environment that made us feel at ease during such an important time in our lives.

One nurse who truly stood out was Jaqueline
De Leon. Her dedication to her work was evident in the way she consistently attended to all of our needs. She made sure my wife was comfortable at every step of the way and was always available to answer our questions or offer support without any hesitation. Jaqueline’s kindness and professionalism made a world of difference for us during the welcoming process, and we are incredibly grateful for her care.

Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better experience, and we highly recommend Valley Baptist Harlingen Hospital for anyone expecting a child. The staff here truly understands the importance of this moment and does everything in their power to make it as smooth and comfortable as possible. Thank you to the entire team, especially Jaqueline De Leon, for making our delivery experience a positive one.

Nobody wants to be in the ER, but if you end up at Valley Baptist ER, consider yourself lucky to have Mayra Lopez, RN as your nurse! She was attentive, took the time to explain procedures, and super cooperative!! She is a very caring individual & even brought me, the spouse of the patient, a blanket! Thank you Mayra!! 😊

Monica from OT department was amazing she worked with my husband with patience, she was so kind & had such a positive attitude! Gave us some good advice for when he goes home, she made him feel comfortable throughout his stay there. Also made him feel confident in his recovery in our eyes she is one of the best we could have had.

Shelby Rn in labor and delivery was absolutely terrific, very sweet and caring. She does her job so well and she made me feel so comfortable and satisfied with my stay here!

Aillyn in nursery is absolutely wonderful. She’s is so caring not only to my baby who is her patient but to me as well. She brings me much comfortability knowing that my baby is in her care. Thank you so much for all that you do!

Came to ED , 5/7 with worse pain I have ever experienced. I was triaged rapidly by both nurse and MD. Received hydration and pain medicine within 30 minutes. Received CT scan, diagnosis was made, treatment was initiated , and I was able to go home same evening. Facility was clean, and patient care was first rate. Labs and films all done quickly. Nursing was attentive to my needs, and doctor explained the process.

I can’t thank VBMC Harlingen enough for the Exemplary care provided for my Father during his recent stay. Everyone from ER registration, ER Nurses (Jocelyn), ER Physicians, CNA’s/CPT’s, Nurse Grethel Aguilera, Dr Reyes, and Dr. McDonald all provided the best care. We are forever grateful for the wonderful attention, great bedside manner, and patience the staff had during this stay. Dr McDonald provided great compassion, care, and education on my Fathers’s diagnosis. Nurse Grethel Aguilera went above and beyond to care for my Father, answered all of our questions and my numerous phone calls. Thank you Valley Baptist, you all are doing a wonderful job with your staff, our Community is Blessed to have a resourceful hospital! We appreciate you!!!

My mom received excellent care from Mariana and Fernanda when she went into the emergency room the other night. She was managed and seen very quickly, and in and out in a timely manner. Thank you Valley Baptist ER Department 🙏🏼

Had a very good experience, staff is great. Only one hiccup… No one was letting family know all was well with me and my newborn due to lack of communication with family to let them know. If maybe just letting them know the situation of the outcome, not get into detail, but just say everything went well and are in recovery. Other than that, I’m satisfied with my time spent here 😊

On behalf of me and my husband Jeremiah and family we can’t thank you all enough to all the nurses and doctors from the time I was admitted to giving birth to the icu and then to the nes such an amazing team god truly put some angels over us that week in the hospital. A big shout out to all the nurses at the staff and I can’t thanks enough Alayna ruby christina so helpful so caring so loving to be honest no words to express myself for the way they took care of me and the whole team of nurses during the most tragic time in our life of loss and my health. I thank god for also all the doctors he sent my way during this time from my obgyn Barrera to the doctors who took care of me in the icu all the way to the end to the nest for all my checks ups and always assuring me I would be taken care of under there hands. Again we thank all the nurses from the bottom of our hearts wish I could’ve remembered all the names but god please always watch over them and y’all keep up the amazing work they definitely showed that they love what they do and it takes amazing hearts to do that. My husband Bronito got burned, so we went to the ER. The people there were really nice! They helped him quickly and made sure he felt okay. Dr Candil was great too, explaining everything well. We're glad for their help! And his nurse Jocelyn and everyone.

The nurses Cinthia from the emergency room did a very good job caring for my son, she made him feel like a special person, she interpreted everything he needed to know about his health according to his language, which is American Sign Language. I also thank Dr. Jim, He spoke to my son in ASL without interpreter . It was wonderful to see that.
