We never know what we might find on the shelves. Besides fresh food and sometimes local produce, there are plenty of surplus grocery items and items removed from big stores for one reason or another. Prices have gone up considerably and a smart shopper may find a good deal. To my wife and I it's like a convenient store and a grocery store combined. The employees are almost always friendly and helpful.

If you love a chaos and good deals this is the place for you! This is definitely a bargain hunt! Don't come here if you don't have the time to spend searching. This is one of Shelbyville's treasures, even if it is a little tarnished.

I have been going to UGO in Shelbyville for years now and there were times in the past, I felt like it was really going downhill due to low stock, limited fresh veggies and goodness, when I was told the bathrooms were closed because they were tired of cleaning them! Not to mention a terrible smell most times, but...Every visit over about the last year, it has gotten better and better, and during a visit this week, I was amazed at the transformation in the store. Good work! The new management surely has made all the difference. Fresh, well displayed fruits and vegetables, the meat department was fully stocked with lots of choices and the butcher even came by (without being asked) to see if she could help us with anything. Same thing happened in another part of the store, which is a big change from the past! Keep it up UGO, awesome job in turning the store around!

Love this place. Nothing like it in Ohio. Amazing prices, name brand products of items we've never seen before. We are fast, get in get out shoppers and actually spent 2 hours in there because of all the cool things we saw. Left with tons of groceries to stock our new house and only spent $100. Another reason we're so happy to have moved to Tennessee 😁

Great prices, best meat prices by far. Great deals everyday of the week. Butcher always personable and helpful. And in response to the lady who said you had to eat the food fast because of expiration dates. For crying out loud, those dates are SELL BY DATES. anyone worried about expiration dates on canned goods and vacuum sealed foods I'll takem all day. Dates are used for stocking purposes and shelf arrangement

Great deals, clean, and organized. Good quality food and drinks most of the items they had we would purchase at triple the price we were amazed and the amount of stuff we got and the young girl said 54 dollars. Also great customer service the young girl who helped us was nice and helpful to my family we will definitely be back.

Most of all is some of the Most incredible employees, managers, I've ever come across anywhere!! They're definitely a credit to the company!! This store is sooo clean!!! Shelbyville UGO always has some interesting and basic grocery items. I always love to stop there every time I go to Shelbyville. I always check out their freezer counter because it usually has some bulk items of breaded chicken which are really good. They usually have frozen cakes or cookies and always have ice cream. The meat counter is usually hit or miss on pricing. The selection of canned goods varies with each trip. If you don't mind close dated items you can really get a great price. The produce counter is probably their weakest area. Their cold case usually contains some good bargains on sandwich meats, prepared pudding, and bulk meats like the deli stores slice at the counter. I recommend stopping here if you want to find something out of the ordinary or just need something simple. They also have some nice people working there that remember you too.

It was a little expensive on some things but I got 18 pizzas for my wife and four of our grandchildren. My wife can fix the pizzas when the grandchildren and she get hungry.

Wonderful staff and great deals. This is always my first stop when stocking the house, you never know what you'll find!

Certain sections have limited selection of items, and snack flavors usually rotate between our shopping trips, but theres still a great selection of items, and at unbeatable prices.
