Taco John's

Eric was awesome and super friendly! Hands down way better than Taco Bell! I'd rather spend $20 here for a FULL belly than $20 at Subway with more to be desired. Food holds extremly well for leftovers. Bring some to Alabama!!

If Google allowed cussing in a review, this one would have it. By far, one of the best "darn" taco places I've been to. Never even heard the name, "taco john's" before but I happened to be looking for lunch and whipped in to get some tacos. Definitely the best "freaking" idea I've had lately. I tried the Chicken Street Tacos and let me tell ya, DELICIOUS! I'll be returning much more often to try the many tacos available.

This business does not exist locally for me, and I found it on a road trip. Extremely good food that tastes just as good as fast food, but doesn't leave you with that awful feeling afterward.

The service before we even order was amazing. The staff were all nice throughout the whole time me and my family were ordering. The food was prepared fast, and the food was to die for. I don't think me and my family will not be getting tacos anywhere else.

First time there, the food was very good, a nice alternative to another fast food restaurant. The prices were reasonable and the service was very fast. Very clean dining area also. Will definitely be going back.

Taco Johns is always a great place to eat. This is the closest Taco Johns to me 4.5hrs away. Was up in the area and came to eat. Love the 6 pack and a lb with super hot sauce on the tacos.

Only the second time I've gone, but it didn't disappoint. It still feels like a step, or two, up from Taco Bell. I highly recommend the Ranch Burrito. 11/10

Only two of these places in Tennessee that I'm aware of. One of them is in Morristown and the other one is in Elizabethton. I'm originally from North Dakota, where Taco John's are in just about every town you visit. Now I am from Greenville Tennessee and so when I find myself in Elizabethton or Morristown and I find that I'm hungry, it's nice to know there's a little taste of back home just right around the corner.
My faves are the Chicken and Potato Burrito (For me it's got to be the grilled chicken, not the breaded chicken) (And it's not necessarily on the menu, so if you order it and your host/hostess seems confused, just tell them you want the Meat and Potato Burrito sub out the grilled chicken for the meat). Another fave is the Super Potato Ole's Bravo. Also, their breakfast burrito and their breakfast version of Potato Ole's Bravo (I can't remember what it's called but it has eggs and sausage and cheese and Potato Ole's and is super tasty).

Very nice staff. The quesadilla Tacos are very good. The big chicken Burrito is really good too.

Luv taco Tuesday..soft shells for 1.29 instead of 1.99. The drive thru was backed up so we went in. Quick service inside.

Really enjoy this little gem. Live out of the area but will travel just to eat here from time to time. I'm never disappointed! The only thing I have to say is we really used to enjoy the train. While I know it's not a necessity for this restaurant, it was really enjoyed by the kids who will still, from time to time, look up to see if it was maybe going to run that day. Restaurant it clean and staff are friendly.

Would have been 5 stars if 5 of the 8 things we ordered was messed up either by something being on it that was requested be left off or added to an order bit didn't get it

Truly local business that has been serving us for many years. The service today was excellent, friendly, and quick. They serve West Mex food, which isn't as spicy as Tex Mex. Please continue to support our local businesses and be extra nice to the employees.

I used to go there with my aunt when I was little. Haven't been in a long time. Tried getting the taco pizza they had but lo and behold, they don't sell them anymore. Food was still good. Still better than taco bell. Try it out.

We love the food, it's always great. We don't get to Elizabethton often, but Taco John's is always a must. The staff is excellent and service is always top notch. I highly recommend you stop in!
