Tammy Wynette Legacy Center

We went on a Friday and loved it!! We ate lunch at the restaurant and everything was so good!! After we ate, we walked around the museum and Irene taught us all about Tammy Wynette!!! Irene was so sweet and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed our visit here.

If you are ever near this area be sure to stop in. Such a lovely tribute to The First Lady of Country Music. I had such a wonderful time learning some things I didn’t know about her. My Daddy was a huge fan so I knew a lot about her.

This venue is free, they thrive on donations. They also have live performers, sing-a-longs and a pretty tasty restaurant. Definitely worth a visit.

We recently filmed our family Docu-Series RV PLUS 10™ for APPLE TV at the Tammy Wynett Legacy Center. WHAT AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE FOR THE KIDS. We learned so much about Ms. Wynett and how she paved the way for woman singers. 2 time Grammy winner Ms. Wynett grew up in Tremount, MS. She played basketball and was adored by her community. This community is proud to share memorabilia and stories from the first Lady of Country Music life. Come by and enjoy the legacy of Tammy Wynett and the vision of music education. A pilgrimage destination for any fan of classic country music. The hosts were welcoming and forthcoming with relevant information, evincing a deep regard for the contributions of Tammy Wynette. Definitely recommended.

The atmosphere, servers,and food is EXCELLENT!!!!! I would recommend this as a 1st date place or family dinner place. Everyone is so friendly, but NOT "gushy" fake friendly. We got 3 meals and drinks with extras and it was only $30. This is hand cooked, homemade down home country good food! So delicious!

Enjoyed a wonderful lunch in the restaurant...best country fried steak I've ever had! Walked through the museum and talked with a lovely and knowledgeable hostess about some of the details of Tammy's life. Hope to someday be able to attend one of the evening musical events they often have.

Beautiful peice of history! Words cannot describe how wonderful the host was, amd they were very informative. They also hold music events we would love to come back and visit in the future!

Beautiful place alot of information about her and nicely laid out!♥ Up coming artists playing playing music 🎶 when we were there and the food was great in the pic is the Philly stake sandwich 🥪

Salad bar is outstanding. Robert and baked potato was tasty and tender. Our server, Lana, was excellent.

The food was delicious hot and affordable and the staff was friendly amd polite will for sure be back again
