So I called the lift office in Fulton ms in need of help with my power billl and when the lady asked me about the people in my household I wasn’t thinking and said me and my son. However my son is only with me every other weekend because his dad has custody and he goes to school in another state. The lady said she would need his social security card which I do not have for the above reason. I tried explaining this to her and instead of listening she kept interrupting me and became irate. I asked her if I could just put myself on the case and leave him off since he doesn’t live with me she then started yelling. I asked her why was she yelling at me and she then said like a child “get off my line” and hung up. This lady is the only one in this office and not only that from what I understand a city alderman. How is it ok for her to treat someone in need of assistance whom she had only spoken to for all of 3 min the way she did. Not only that how am I supposed to get help if she’s the only one whom I can speak with. I have never been talked to like that by someone for absolutely no reason after such a short call. I was polite never raised my voice or said anything out of the way. She was horrible. I will make it my mission to make sure that lady has a lesson on how to treat people before this is over
