Cafe Beignet, Bourbon Street

Loves the atmosphere here, and the music. A great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Bourbon Street. The price, for the beignets was outstanding, and I could eat a never ending amount of them because of how delicious they were.

Great ambiance was amazing. I didn't get to hear the band, but they were setting up. Had shrimp and grits, came with Garlic bread. Staff were helpful and kind. The texture of the shrimp was like nothing I ever tasted before. Delicious!

In a full down pour, they were still going strong. Some of the better music I heard on the trio. Loved the statues, the outdoor stage, and seating under an awning. Fantastic place to stop in and enjoy drinks, music and beignets.

Great food had the shrimp po not and my husband had the fish platter. The music and atmosphere were awesome. A wedding went by when we were there with a matching band and the wedding party waiving white handkerchiefs. It was awesome.

Our daughter-in-law's brother goes to New Orleans quite often and he highly recommended this place for beignets. I've tried them at a few other places and they are very good here, just a tad better than Cafe Du you know who. Their were 4 of us and a grand baby and we enjoyed sharing a couple orders of beignets, they come three to an order. They all copied me and got iced cafe au laits. The grand baby didn't a coffee drink. This is a counter service place and there will probably be a line.

Love the courtyard setting and the live music. The coffee and beignets were absolutely delicious! Others in our party liked the gumbo and eggs with sausage also.

We had a great time checking out Cafe Beignet for some coffee and breakfast and of course beignets. Everything was so delicious, definitely would recommend checking this spot out. The service was fast and friendly.

I wanted to try some beignets in New Orleans, and this spot seem to have the best ones. Most of the cafés like this one were always packed when we walked by but this location was pretty empty when we got there, which was very convenient. As soon as we got our drinks and beignets a jazz band started playing outside, which was amazing. The café has a patio and a bar on site. They have very beautiful statues of jazz players, and lights hanging on the trees. It’s a very beautiful spot on a very busy street. Loved this café compared to the rest, definitely recommend.

Tried this place while visiting New Orleans, it was within walking distance from the hotel I stayed. Quick place to grab breakfast or beignets. Wasn’t the biggest fan of the breakfast sandwich’s only for the fact they put a huge piece of egg. Which I would prefer a smaller piece and more cheese. Besides that the beignets were okay, would’ve preferred more sugar. But overall it is a very cute restaurant, the band was setting up as I was getting ready to leave. But they do have outdoor seating, they did have heaters on when I went. Which was nice because it was a little windy.

The hype is warranted; Beignets were delicious. The Cajun hash browns also slapped. Live music on the patio while you eat... it's the perfect Nola experience.

Loved our food here - took Jambalaya, and the Muffaletta! Since they took around 40+ mins to prep our meal, they gave us free beignets for the wait and thus I can't complain! Very nice outdoorsy seating with live music!

We visited on a rainy Tuesday night, with no idea what to expect. The atmosphere here was lovely, with lots if seating, heaters, and a 3 piece band. We sat for hours, and only left as the band finished for the night. We are not party-ers and really enjoyed the relaxed, and mature atmosphere

There's a small courtyard to hear a band play. Live Jazz starts around 10am. A very relaxing hang out spot to grab drinks or even breakfast with a classic basket of beignets. Delicious! A great spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. It does get crowded early and there can be a long line but the line seems to move pretty quickly. Once you order, they give you a stand with a number, you can choose a table to sit at, and they bring the food to you.

Beautiful , this experience was truly extraordinary. What an amazing way to start off the day , live music, delicious food, and sweet morning atmosphere I was sitting here surrounded by people and pretty green trees . The food was truly an experience you will never forget but on other hand how can you forget everything in New Orleans is a vibe , delicious and I felt like I was in a whole different era of time being here was my dream and it has come true in so many ways thank you for having us here . A really sweet , heart warming experience.

One of the best beignets we had in New Orleans. They were large and fresh. They are well cooked and have a good flavor, but definitely need the powdered sugar, it's like icing on a donut.

Love the food, could live without the birds a bit. Service is meh. The beignets are the best and the red beans and rice, I can't get enough of.

We stopped by for a quick rest after walking the French Quarter. To escape the noise and crowds of Bourbon Street on Lundi Gras (the Monday before Mardi Gras), we stepped into this patio that housed the Cafe Beignet and the Musical Legends Park. We passed on beignets although everyone else ordered some. The line was about 5 people long and the beignets were large in size. You get 3 powdered beignets for under $5. I bought a drink at the bar and it was well-prepared. Live Jazz was playing and the music was traditional. There was seating available every 10-15 minutes as folk finished their food and drinks. The seating is not crowded and it's open-air. It is self-service. There are sculptures of four Greats. It's a welcomed stop along Bourbon Street.

Amazing tasting biniets, and awesome music too, but it took a while to get a small order. We also ordered our biniets with strawberry and chocolate but didn't end up getting those toppings.

It's a beautiful little court yard with the most delicious beignets for only $5. You get 3 decent sized ones. Their drinks are delicious and around $12, which is typical for Bourbon Street. We went back for more beignets the next day. They don't allow outside food or beverages, so don't be surprised if security jumps down your throat. That kinda sucked because I wanted to let my slushy melt a bit while I had beignets and a drink from here. I ended up having my sister grab me a beignet and decided against buying a drink from them since they wouldn't let me walk in to get it myself. The guy at the bar is quick and polite. Overall, it was a good experience, and we'll be back the next time we're in NOLA.

This is our favorite spot to get beignets in the quarter, the staff is really nice, the beingnets are bigger and, in our opinion, fresher and fluffier than Cafe du Monde, and the line is never that bad. We also love that it's located in Jazz Legends Park and have a live band playing. This is all coming from a local that lives just a few blocks away. ⚜
