Happy Tails and Julia are truly the best vet I have ever worked with. I have since moved to Miami and can no longer use her, but I would still call her from afar and ask for help, second opinions etc. She helped me through both of my dogs getting incredibly ill through kidney failure and cancer. She treated my dogs like she would her own. She is passionate, knowledge, fair, and will give you all options when it comes to making difficult decisions.

I would highly recommend Julia and Happy Tails for regular dog visits, for accidents, or long term chronic issues. She takes a holistic approach that I wish more vets would take.

Dr. Julia’s expertise of both prescription and holistic meds was truly amazing providing the right mix to solve our puppy’s problems. She stayed in the room with us while she preformed all tests and explained everything. It was nice to see first hand his care.

Dr. Julia and all of the staff at Happy Tails have been so amazing in helping my dogs! They were able to help get a heart murmur and seizures under control for my 2 fur babies. They are so helpful in emergency situations and always so patient and caring. I would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone who loves their animals! My dogs used to shake and be scared when going to their old vet (I won’t give names, but it may have rhymed with Shamfield 😳) and now my dogs actually get excited and wag their tails when they get to see Dr. Julia & staff. So very thankful for all they do!

I honestly can’t say enough good things about this office. Every single staff member is smiley and happy to be at their job.

We recently had to leave our last veterinarian office due to the lack of holistic openness. It was actually quite awful towards the end of things. I did a bit of research and found this place, and I do think I may have found the best in the area.

I want to mention the cleanliness of the office. My daughter has a cat dander allergy, so when would we go to our last office she would be sneezy and itchy for hours after. Being in Happy Tails my girl had no reaction. Cleanest vet I’ve ever seen. It has a very homelike feel to it.

My dog is awful with getting her nails done, and they somehow managed to get her paws looking beautiful without sedation.

They did not push any non required vaccines on me, and completely respected my boundaries. We only get what is required by law (rabies) and there is usually pushback from vets on this. They respected every decision I’ve come to for my girl without a single bit of resistance.

Lastly, they offered her a homeopathic pellet that helped her rabies shot. I’d never been offered something to ease this, which in turn eased my mind with her recovery. THEN I get an email this afternoon of them checking on her after her vaccine, making sure she was feeling okay. When I say that my heart is so warm with appreciation, these people have went above and beyond any expectations I could have had.

I am truly grateful to have found a new home vet for my fur girl, that can accommodate our preferences, handle her nail anxieties, and support her after-care without even being asked to.

SO Impressed by Dr Julia! This is the 1st Vet that truly knew how to help (with just a phone consult! ) for my 13 year old golden retriever suffering with itchy yeast. She is doing so much better after just a month and I am so grateful. If you want results she is the best choice you can make. And her staff are all extremely professional as well. I have been taking my dog here for around 3 months now and everyone there really cares and is great. Dr. Katherine has been a blessing in getting my dog Riley to his optimal health from diet to ailment advice. I highly recommend Happy Tails.

Dr. Julia is an amazing vet! She has helped us so much via telemedicine in the last 18mo. Prompt appointments and thorough exams give us extra peace of mind when our animals are in need. The holistic care that’s provided to our pets is so much better than just forcing prescription drugs down their throats. Happy Tails will have our business for life!

I LOVE Dr. Julia! My dog can be a little aggressive when she is afraid, but Julia always knows how to calm her down. I follow Dr. Julia wherever she goes! Definitely digging the new location. We walked over to Hugo's for oysters while we waited for my dog to be done with her appointment. We will be back!

Holistic and Caring. I took my cat here and she was completely comfortable during her experience. They fixed her health issues quickly and did some amazing holistic treatments I didn’t even know were available to do on pets. We will be back soon for more happy and kind health care here. Also It also doesn’t smell bad like most vets tend to and it feels more like a home than a hospital.

I brought my dog in to see Dr. Julia for his anxiety. She recommended acupuncture and a few supplements. He actually endured his first acupuncture session and has been a little calmer on the supplements. Dr. Julia and the vet assistants all treated him with great care and compassion!

My two cats love the staff and doctors at Happy Tails! We are always welcomed by the friendly receptionists and vet assistants when we come through the door. Dr. Bellinger and Dr. Julia put my girls at ease when they get their acupuncture and ozone treatments. I would highly recommend Happy Tails to anyone looking for an integrative vet !

She personalized treatment and I loved her holistic approach. Claudia was very helpful and sweet with my dog, too. I have been on an endless journey to find a vet that I can have trust and confidence to work with. My experience with Dr Julia and her staff certainly exceeded expectations and restored my confidence in veterinarians. The staff and Dr Julia were not taken back and remained calm with an “opinionated” dog. Claudia, the tech, was even dumped on following the ozone treatment but was matter-of-fact. Dr Julia had familiarized herself with my dog’s case history, was comfortable to move promptly to my immediate areas of concern and offered her insight on recommendations with pros and cons on conventional and holistic treatments. My dog relaxed during the exam, treatments and manipulation. I was given thorough hands-on exercises and tutorials to do at home. Other noteworthy feedback was the office and exam rooms that had mats and bedding for the pets. Most veterinarian offices have high-gloss floors and dogs can easily slip (and get injured). Dr Julia and Claudia did not have an issue joining my dog on the floor of the exam room rather than putting her on a table! The receipt from the visit was VERY detailed (for clarification on record keeping). I emailed the office with a follow-up question and the response was the same day—impressive! We look forward to our next appointment to Happy Tails!

Abby and Dr Julia were kind, patient, caring, knowledgeable, and thorough. In fact, the entire staff was amazing. I cannot recommend Dr. Julia and her team enough. My senior dog spiraled with Kidney Disease and within a month he's doing so much better. They suggested several different treatment options and the reasoning behind their recommendations. I felt at a loss when Lucky (my 10 yr old dog) was in critical condition. Dr. Julia took her time on the phone with me to go through different treatment options and saw him back on a weekly basis. He's gets acupuncture, laser therapy, is on herbal meds and supplements, etc. You can tell that this entire team truly cares about their patients!
