Roswell Town Square

I parked the van here and explored, enjoying this park and then taking a nice walk down the hill to the covered bridge. It's a lovely town square with very pretty and lush grass, a number of picnic tables and a pretty bandstand.

The marker reads, "The Square was part of town founder Roswell King’s original town plan and is the center of the Roswell Historic District. The District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. President Theodore Roosevelt visited Roswell, his mother’s girlhood home, in 1905 and addressed the citizens of Roswell from a bandstand on the Square."

Street parking the far side is next to an outlet so it was great to be able to plug in the battery and do some charging while I explored.

While there are no public restrooms or other facilities here, it's a pretty park and a nice stop. There are a number of spots nearby to shop and eat. Lovely.

So I really like this small square and what the city of Roswell has done. They have provided an abundance of electric car charge plug spots for you to plug in basically any type of mobile charger you may need for your car. There is a two hour limit, so most of the time I will go and plug in and walk across the street to have coffee @ Summit Coffee. Great job Roswell!!

I adore this little park. Tucked right across the street from the Mill in Downtown Roswell. You’re liable to miss it if you don’t know it’s there. It can get busy on the weekend but most days, it’s fairly empty during the day. Certainly worth the time it takes to stop and smell the roses. (Note: there are no roses)

This is a lovely park, extremely well kept and a comfortable place to have a small picnic 👍🏼

Great place to relax and chill. My memories have been tied here these past 20 years, passing by, craft shows, dinners, romantic strolls, ghost tours and more. Roswell is beautiful and so are most of the people here. As a GA native, this is one of my favorite places. The Mill is close by, good eats and home.

My son had the best time skipping and leaping through Roswell Town Square, learning why people throw their hard-earned money in wishing fountains, reading confederate era plaques about racism-based southern history, and seeing the beautiful tree art by #Knitterati.

Small area, but very cute and always well taken care of! The fountain and the little library are awesome additions as well.

Walked through on my way to and from Lavender Festival. Grounds are beautiful and clean. Saw signs that there are free concerts sometimes. Shopping across the street looks fun.

A quaint park that is right in the middle of Roswell that is very well kept and maintained. It is a great place for meetings and outdoor events. It's great to see green spaces these days as they are slowly disappearing. It seems like a safe area even at night.

Beautiful old architecture and great food in a romantic setting! Wonderful place to walk around and try foods at different restaurants. Each place has their menu posted out front. Swing through and make your decision. Tapas is available in at least 2 locations. Many art galleries. Most restaurants have outdoor seating.

The town is lovely and well kept up. The event I went to was an Arts festival which fit perfectly with the theme and vibe of the town.

the fall festival was fun first time there.

My wife and I took engagement photos here. They came out great! It's a nice little square with enough restaurants and not to far is Roswell Mill!!

I have been here many times over the years from being a fun place to skateboard, to all the bars/restaurants, festivals, and now to play Ingress and PoGo. Always have a great time and always find something new each time after 20+ years.

Great Arts/Food Festival and thanks to the Roswell historic homes Trilogy for participating in the Smithsonian free museum day!! Excellent day!

Love going here on sunny weekends. It's beautiful during that time. Many options to eat and shop. Friendly folks walking around and in the shops.

If you are looking to fill your sack while playing pokemon then this is a great place to play let at night hassled and very peaceful. Nice historical area.

Cool little park near the old mill. Good food and drinks within easy walking distance

Beautiful area, wonderful for photos. Occasionally have festivals and events. Worth the time to check it out!
