Story On The Square

Discovered this book shop on our way home to Conyers. Such a lovely shop with super friendly staff, who told me all about their book club and showed us around to their wine stations as well, yes books and wine. This place is fantastic. If you are ever in the area, you definitely should stop by.

I had the wonderful opportunity to be a featured author at Story on the Square today. The staff went out of their way to make sure the event was a success. Amazing customer service.

every community bookstore should strive to be like! Everyone is helpful, they have great programs for kids. You can get drinks and snacks for kids and adults, it's awesome!!!

I’ve been in the area going on 5 years and I’m disappointed that I’m just taking time out to enjoy my city.

Great staff, great fun, a large selection of books.

I went for bingo night and I can not think of anything I would have rather been doing on a Wednesday evening. Shelby was an excellent host and it was just a all around good vibe. I learned they have so many other events other than bingo, and I cannot wait to attend some of them.

I highly recommend and will be back.

Helen and the entire Story on the Square staff helped make the wedding of our dreams into a reality (beyond what we’d dreamed). Prices were reasonable and clearly explained, service was exceptional, and communication always timely. The venue is gorgeous as is and the team was helpful with decorating it a little more to fit our needs. The vendor recommendations led us to a great DJ for the occasion and we were able to bring in a caterer with assistance from Helen and team.

This is the best kept secret on the Town square. When your wife calls and wants to know where you're at and you tell her "I'm at the bookstore!" You will find the most interesting people in here and the most interesting books and gifts. They have amazing coffee, wine and beer and a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy them in. Be sure to leave with gifts and books for your family and friends. I'd give more than five stars but that's all that you can click on! 😁

Absolutely awesome!! I took my daughter here and she loved it! It was our first time, we drove from Augusta to visit this place and it was worth it! She already wants to return! Great selection of books, great wine, and great customer service.

I've been here with my son multiple times now and each time has been awesome. The staff are kind and the store is always clean. There's a coffee bar in the back that's good if you need a pick me up while you're browsing. Highly recommend dropping by if you're in the area.

The only place I buy books. Great staff. The shop has a unique aesthetic. It's a few dollars more than online but it's great to have brick and mortar stores like this.

I ordered some paperback books and when they were delivered I noticed some minor damage on the cover. When I contacted them not only did they reply quickly but they issued out new books without hesitation. They actually value customer experience and I will continue to buy through them even if it's not the cheapest on the market. More places should follow in their customer experience example

I attended a wedding in the venue space that is located above the book store. It was a nice space. The space was more than adequate for the wedding. The staff that was provided was extremely nice and very helpful.

It is a very cool bookstore with a cozy bar and a limited gourmet menu. It is a great place to hang out and meet some of the friendly locals.

This place is SO fun! I thought I was walking into a bookstore and it was sooo much more. We spent a good amount of time in there just browsing. To top it off they have beer and wine available! We are just in town to visit, and safe to say I need a place like this at home!! 10/10 idea.

We had an amazing wedding shower today at Story on the Square! We highly recommend this beautiful venue. Helen the event manager was phenomenal and worked with us for all 5 hrs of the event. She made sure the experience was flawless. She helped us set up, decorate, greet our guests, and ensure everyone had what they needed without any hesitating. It was a beautiful experience at Story on the Square!!!

This is a small bookstore in the McDonough Square. There's all kinds of neat little things, beer, wine, and of course, books. They sell new books and can order books if they don't have what you want in stock. Best of all, it's a small business so I'm always happy to shop when that's an option.

Great local bookstore. Large children's section. I especially like the loft space. I've attended 2 local community events there.

We visited the book store in the middle of the day on a Monday. It has a great positive vibe, a nice book selection, and an elegant coffee and drink bar. The cool music tied up the whole mood nicely. We came in to take a look and ended up buying a couple of books and staying for a while.

That story has less than five stars is really a testament to how fickle reviewers can be.

The bottom line is story is a bookstore with unique titles and a wonderful coffee/wine/beer bar in the back that also offers excellent charcuterie boards and other snacks prepared by spotted trotter. The combination is genius and I don’t know why I don’t see it all over Atlanta.

We found this place while looking for office space nearby-we not only found a great place to read and grab a drink but also a great place for event space.

We will certainly be back
