Casa Cosenza – Oldsmar has become my go-to Italian restaurant, and each visit is nothing short of a culinary journey through the diverse flavors of Italy. From the moment you step through the door, the warm ambiance and friendly staff make you feel like you've been transported to the heart of Italy. The owner is what I call fresh off the boat, and many of his staff reflect the flavor and ambiance you would expect in Italy The menu offers a delightful array of authentic Italian dishes that cater to all tastes, and all the pasta is made in house!

Taste and Presentation
We started with a special appetizer for the night which was a Homemade Tortellini stuff with Italian cheese and white truffle in a white cream sauce. Then for entrees we had Filetto al Barolo a 8oz Filet Mignon in red wine sauce, served with mushrooms, vegetables, and house potatoes, and the night special which was a Branzino filet with mussels and clams topped with a red sauce.

The filet was cooked to absolute perfection, the Barolo wine reduction is a symphony of flavors and truly complemented the meat, The presentation was equally impressive, with an artful arrangement that highlighted the dish's elegance and with a side of perfectly cooked mushrooms, zucchini, and potatoes. and a choice of potato accompaniment

The Branzino was a true celebration of the sea, a dish that impeccably combines freshness, flavor, and culinary artistry. It was grilled to perfection, showcasing the pristine quality of the fish. Each forkful revealed a subtle sweetness that spoke of the sea, and the expert seasoning allowed the natural flavors to shine. The inclusion of mussels and clams added a dynamic layer to the dish. The shellfish were impeccably cooked, tender and brimming with the essence of the ocean. The savory broth, infused with garlic, white wine, and herbs, was a symphony of complementary flavors that elevated the entire dish to a new level of indulgence. The presentation was a work of art, with the vibrant colors of the seafood and the aromatic broth creating an enticing visual appeal. The dish was accompanied by a medley of seasonal vegetables, adding a refreshing balance to the richness of the seafood.

What can I say. Max. Dear Max. He was amazing. He exhibited a genuine passion for the cuisine, providing insightful descriptions of each dish and its preparation. His enthusiasm not only enhanced our dining experience but also reflected a true dedication to the art of hospitality. He was constantly attentive to our table, always asking us how things were doing, tasting, and making sure we were well taken care of. I observed him around the restaurant and his passion for people and really creating an amazing guest experience was top notch.

The Italian décor, soft lighting, and the piano truly created an intimate atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for a romantic dinner or a celebration with friends and family.

The restaurant is very cozy and everyone working there is so lovely. It felt like a very authentic Italian restaurant. I can’t wait to come back.

Last night I had the pleasure of dining at Casa Cosenza for the first time and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the service was top-notch. First, let's talk about the food. My Friend and I, we both ordered the Fettuccine Primavera and it was absolutely out of this world. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the sauce was rich and flavorful with just the right amount of seasoning. Kudos for chef Eddy. We also had the Burrata as an appetizer and the wine oh my Lord. Last but not least, Ugo de Ambrossio my dear friend, you and your music are the soul of the place, thank you for enlightening us with your incredible talent. Our server was amazing too. Casa Cosenza is definitely a place I would recommend for anyone looking for a great dining experience. Service overall took a little bit longer cause they do everything in House but this is not a fast food restaurant after all. This is a place to come, sit, relax and enjoy, the best company, food and wine, the European style. I can't wait to go back!

What an amazing experience! My husband took me here for a belated Valentine's dinner. The service was impeccable. Highly attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. All the pasta was made fresh. You could taste it. My husband ask for the flowers he bought to be brought out to me after we were seated. They brought 2 glasses of rose and my beautiful roses. They followed his instructions to the tee. This is not a fast experience but that's what I loved about it. We spent some quality time together. They weren't focused on turning tables but instead giving great service. The night ended with complimentary shots of Lemoncelo. This will definitely be our go to place for Italian food from now on. Don't let the location fool you. This is a 5 star restaurant for sure!

We chose Casa Cosenza for our son and daughter-in-law’s rehearsal dinner, and we are so pleased that we did! The restaurant was beautifully decorated for the occasion when we arrived, and the owner and staff greeted us personally. It felt like they had been waiting eagerly and expectantly to serve us.

Our guests were treated to delicious, authentic Italian fare. From the appetizers to salad to entree to desserts, everything was perfect. (My favorite was the red snapper, by the way.) It was easy to see that the owners and staff care very deeply about the service they provide.

Anytime I had a question, the owner would just say, “Please, don’t worry. Just enjoy yourself. We’ll take care of everything.” And they did!

What a great hidden gem! We love this place. Beautiful! Cozy! Romantic! Exceptional food! Fresh ingredients! Great decor! White and Blue decorations! Don't let the strip mall location fool you. This is one classy restaurant! They also have gluten free and vegetarian options! Many dishes they can accommodate special requests! The waiter was enchanting and endearing!

This place is amazing ! Fantastic food , impeccable service and great atmosphere. We had no idea this gem was hidden behind a modest store front . The decor is homey and charming but in an upscale way .And the pianist ?? Wonderful ! Our new favorite spot !! I only wish I had taken more photos .

Had a decent dinner here with a large party , the food was good the service was good. Only bad thing is which they told us from the start was there was no bartender on duty which was a little weird they need to teach someone else in the staff how to mix drinks when this happens as I’m sure they lost a ton of $ that night. You’d drive by this if you weren’t looking for it as it’s tucked away in a plaza.

This place is excellent. Food is delicious,tasty red sangria, loved the meatballs!
The stewed chicken with veggies and roasted potatoes was scrumptious.
Service was on the mark from start to finish!

Very Nice!

It was a Saturday night and pretty busy. We had a reservation and received a nice table. The place is charmingly decorated and quite comfortable. A pianist was playing—enjoyable and not too loud. The servers were all very capable and friendly.

My Negroni cocktail was nice, but a bit high-priced. My only disappointment was with the list of wines by the glass. Prices were reasonable, but the quality of the chosen wines wasn’t as high as it should be.

For food we started with the Parmigiana Melanzane appetizer. It was delicious. The marinara sauce was excellent. The Caesar salad was a bit skimpy in size, but nice. We had a Lasagna Napoletana which was very good and a Pollo all Boscaiola that was quite delicious. The chicken dish came with some very nice green beans.

I would go back—hopefully soon for that eggplant appetizer.

5-star authentic Italian food in Tampa! This is our go-to Italian restaurant — it has a cozy, upscale atmosphere and their service is always extremely attentive (shoutout to George and Peppe!!). They have an extensive menu with fresh handmade pasta and delicious ingredients, and innovative specials. The veal scallopine with the handmade fettuccine is my go-to — the best fettuccine I’ve ever had! 100% recommend if you are in the area and looking for quality Italian!

We enjoyed dinner so much at this place. The waiter knew the menu and ingredients very well and his recommendations were spot on. The best thing for me was that they use fresh and imported things from Italy and make their own fresh pasta. I had the best pasta al pesto and the fettuccini primavera was fresh and delicious. The seafood dish with home-made ravioli was great too! 👍🏻👍🏻

I'm not often surprised as much as I was when I visited Casa Consenza on Wednesday evening. I've lived in Pinellas County for quite a while and when friends and colleagues have recommended restaurants in the past I've often been disappointed. Not this time! From when we first walked in, the atmosphere and service was exceptional. Then out came the food which was delicious in taste and presentation. Our waiter Maxwell, guided us competently through the menu and all four of us really enjoyed the evening. Highly recommend visiting if you get the chance. The Peppoli Chianti Classico was an excellent pairing with our meals and we are already planning our next visit

We celebrated 2 family birthdays Saturday night. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable and Guiseppi was able to accommodate all my requests for a party of 15. We will be back!

Absolutely beautiful decor, incredibly attentive and genuinely courteous staff, tip top management and the most incredible food. It's a splurge or you're well off but money well spent. SO GOOD!!

We unveiled a splendid choice for an authentic Italian meal in our own neighborhood in Oldsmar. This was a birthday celebration but it would always be a perfect choice for an evening out. We opted for 2 veal dishes the scaloppine and al vino. Fantastic choices as they were tender and we enjoyed nice sides and a bottle of wine and homemade bread and butter. Griffin and Maxwell are outstanding knowable waiters. Owner Guiseppe was nearby creating fresh pasta meals. The decor is festive with a piano, lighted Christmas tree and white table cloths so it feels intimate and comfortable. Food, service and atmosphere all added to make it a special night.We will be back to try some of the mouthwatering specials Griffin told us about. You will fin it tucked in the corner of a shopping center so a big plus is lots of free parking.

We loved this place. Excellent service and quality of food served. We loved the ambience. Very family friendly. Polite and courteous staff. So many vegetarian options to choose from. Worth every dime and time spent here.

This is a little hidden gem. The service was great, food was wonderful and it had some real ambience. It took a little longer for everything to come out but that is because they're making everything to-order! Worth the time and money :)
