RedRocks Old Town

Chill pizzeria with amazing pies. They have everything from Neapolitan to NY style and even Detroit style pizzas. Got the Burrata pizza and am over the moon. Yum. Staff was amazing, legit real people who are genuine.

Great food, drinks, and service! This restaurant is perfect for Happy Hour, date night, and lunch. The pizza is good and offers a flavorful taste and thin crest. However, the most popular food items are breakfast! Trust me, their breakfast sandwiches are really good. The location is also perfect for seeing the sites of Old Town as well as King St.

Our favorite pizza place in old town. We always have a great time here! Seems way underrated.

Food was soo good. Pizza and service was on point. My favorite was the burrata pizza and the homemade tiramisu. Prices are great too for a dinner out in Old Town.

Rabat was really great. We waited, but I’ll wait for fresh food any day of the week. They even sent over a generous thanks for waiting plate. Good pizza🔥🔥

We ordered the meatballs as an app, and they were good served with slices of bread to dip into the sauce. We got the goat cheese and mushroom pizza and a arugula type of pizza. Both were really good and crispy. I like goat cheese but I'm not sure I like it on pizza due to its sweet flavor, but this was ok. If you like it this may be a good pie for you.

They have some outdoor street side seating which is nice on a cool night like we came on.

This is a very friendly pizza and drinks kind of place. Kids are welcome, the beers are good, and the pizza is even better.

Wow! Fantastic pizza! Great crust, with a fresh/bright sauce, and excellent mozzarella cheese — everything was just done perfectly! Friendly staff and great location; overall, really impressed! I would definitely recommend RedRocks to others and will plan to visit again, when in Alexandria. 👍🏻

One of the top three places for pizza and calzones in Old Town. The ingredients are fresh and the dough is fluffy but has a bite to it. Definitely a place to try if you're feeling pizza. I'm sure everything else is good as well.

Personally I am fan of bready pizza. Red rocks checked all the boxes. The Artichoke pizza had a surprising amount of topping with a lovely yeasty charred crust. Aperol spritz was also delicious. Great atmosphere and quick service

Amazing pizza. Super super good pizza. We were bored by the incongruous, new age (?) music that was like a lullaby to our growing food coma from amazing pizza. Switch up the music for patrons to jam to and 5* all around

Hands down the best pizza place in town. Great atmosphere and located in a great location with plenty of other stores and restaurants to visit and try out. Also a great little restaurant to bring your family to or even take your date or significant other to (as there were a few out there when I was there). You can sit right next to the windows and have a great view of the street. Definitely a must visit if you're in the area.

Redrocks pizza in old town Alexandria, VA is the place to stop for lunch or dinner. They have Neapolitan style, New York style,and Detroit style pizza with appetizers, salads and pasta options.
The 3 of us were craving pizza after a long day of touring Mt. Vernon. Redrocks didn't disappoint!
We each ordered a different pizza then shared. We had the
Burrata - caramelized onion, gruyere, Burrata, arugula, olive oil.
Margherita-tomato sauce, mozzarella, fresh basil.
Pepperoni-tomato sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni.
We couldn't decide which was the favorite as they all offered something different. All delicious, all we would order again.
The staff was friendly and helpful.

I like this pizza a lot. This is the only place to feel like the pizza is just like Italy. Everything is so freshly made and you can taste it. I'll be back for sure.

Best pizza! Detroit one was awesome. Chicken wings are awesome. The beer selection was great. A go to in old town!

I took my 11 year old son out for his birthday dinner, and he had a great time. The pizza was excellent, with crispy, bubbly, chewy crust, yummy sauce, and toppings that tasted great. We got a white pizza, pepperoni and cheese pizzas, and a spicy sausage specialty pizza with extra toppings that was fantastic. Their beer list is also solid. The food came out quickly, the waiter was attentive, and the staff were very tolerant of the 11 year old boys that got a bit noisy. They did charge a separate fee to allow us to bring in our own cake, but it wasn’t steep, and the waiter provided us with a candle and matches, since I had forgotten them!

This was a great experience! We wanted to try a place we hadn't been to yet and this was exactly what we were looking for. The pizza is absolutely divine. The picture I got doesn't really do it justice.

The building itself has a nice ambiance - you can see the actual oven from nearly the front of the restaurant. The only downside is that it may be difficult for people with mobility needs to navigate, specifically with restrooms in the back and in a narrow hallway. The table layout on the first floor is fairly narrow as well, so it's something to watch out for if you're a wheelchair user.

If you're looking for an excellent pizza-based experience, definitely give this place a try. Whatever you get, make sure to try the spicy olive oil too!

Highly recommend for happy hour! Outside seating is available and clean (we sat under umbrellas), our server was amazing, and drinks were delicious, refreshing, and lit. Would definitely come back another day.

Great pizza in an awesome little restaurant. Loved the atmosphere, great selection of wine, and of course the pizza. I can't wait to return on future visits to the area.
