This is a scenic spot located right off OH-598 north of Galion. Very nice overlook of the Sandusky river, as well as trails leading directly to the river. There are several nice fishing spots on the river itself which involve a varying degree of hiking. I was there at the end of April and all of Ohio’s wild flowers were in bloom. Very well maintained paths make this walking trail family friendly.

Nice and quiet little park that Crawford County can be proud of! The well-maintained hiking trails through the woods and the stocked catch-and-release pond are a great way to spend a summer evening. The visitors center offers displays of local natural history and wildlife. We appreciate that they have a recycling trailer parked there Monday-Wednesday.

Absolutely awesome. Even though today was in the mid-80s, there was a light breeze that made our adventures under the canopy cover comfortable. The walking trails are a mix of everything, so in dry weather, tennis shoes are perfect. 5 stars, 10/10 would definitely recommend for a comfortable and fun nature adventure for everyone of all ages!

One of Crawford counties parks. Definitely a cool spot to stop and make an hour to hour half visit. Nice nature center with all kinds of stuff. The staff was friendly. Nice boardwalk trail overlooking the Sandusky River. Great place to take a break and enjoy nature.

Nice wide pathways, with some wooden planks in wet areas. Beautiful views of the Sandusky river, and some rock ledges. Tall slender trees frame out the tails. Building was closed, but looks amazing inside.

Really neat place to visit, lots of things to do, from fishing, hiking and enjoying the nature center. Definitely a place to bring your kids.

Some of the trails are laid out, others are rough with high roots. There is a river that runs along it. There is a pond for catch n release fishing along with a beehive and Ohio native plants and flower's

Bring sunscreen and bug repellant as this place is El natural with Nature. The skeeters will carrier you away.

Nature center has everything from stuffed showcases of local wildlife to living turtles and snakes, bones, geology history ect.

Beautiful and peaceful place! My family loves to come here and walk the trails, see what creatures we can find in the small lake, and sometimes get to hold some of the forest friends inside the nature center. The staff in the nature center are so sweet and kind.

One of the nicest little gift shops and nature centers that I've seen in a while.

This nature center is really neat! Clean bathrooms, lots of rocks and bones. Even with bug spray and pants etc the hike was horrific... I've never seen so many mosquitoes at the same time. I'll try again not during the summer
