Sugar Ridge Inn

My wife and I have stayed in many B&Bs over the years and this is one of our favorites! We’ve stayed with Karen and Laura the last 2 years while attending the annual It’s a Wonderful Life Festival in nearby Seneca Falls.

The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and well appointed … as are the common rooms. Breakfasts are varied and absolutely delicious. To top things off, both Karen and Laura are wonderful, caring, AND INTERESTING hosts!

This was the first time we stayed at Sugar Ridge Inn. We really enjoyed our stay. Laura and Karen were very friendly and made us feel at home. They were very knowledgeable of the area and could suggest many things to do. The inn is centrally located to all the wineries on Cayuga Lake. The inn is very clean and the rooms are very nice. They serve a very delicious breakfast each morning. We are looking forward to visiting again soon.

We stayed at the Sugar Ridge Inn in July 2023. The owners of the Sugar Ridge Inn were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and personable. It made for a comfortable and cozy stay.

The Inn is in an ideal location for exploring many towns and activities across the Finger Lakes. The Inn is also located near farms and has a great view of Cayuga lake, making it a perfect spot to relax.

The breakfasts were delicious and coffee was strong! They offer plenty of options for sweet or savory breakfasts. Laura and Karen know the area very well and are happy to give recommendations for things to do.

Laura and Karen provide an exceptional experience. The property provides gorgeous views down over the lake. The house itself is lovely, the room we stayed in was very cozy. Breakfast was amazing, and Karen was extremely accommodating to dietary needs/preferences. Would highly recommend staying here, and would do so again given the chance should we visit again.

Great conversations around the fire pit last night and beautiful sunrise this morning on the deck. Breakfast was delicious and the French press coffee was perfect. Especially loved the Dutch Babies. Rooms were neat and clean and Laura and Karen were so hospitable. Great place to start and to finish a days touring and tasting thru the heart of the Finger Lakes.

Karen & Laura were excellent hosts. Before we even arrived, Karen called to check if me or my wife had any food allergies. We felt quite welcome in their home. Our breakfasts (& conversations) were wonderful both days of our stay. At the end of our days, it was nice to sit back & enjoy the view of Cayuga Lake from their yard. When we return to the Finger Lakes, I'm sure we'll return to Sugar Ridge Inn.

Laura and Karen are excellent hosts! The rooms were clean and cozy, and the inn was perfect for our weekend away. Breakfast was absolutely delicious as well! Would jump at the chance to stay again.

My husband and I stayed here this last weekend. The atmosphere is amazing, so peaceful. It was some of the best breakfast I've ever had in my life. If you are gluten intolerant it's perfectly okay because the gluten free pancakes and french toast were so delicious. We would definitely stay here again. P.S. their cat Jet is so sweet.

This B&B was simply amazing. My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night to visit the Cayuga wine trail and were immediately blown away by the incredible view of the Cayuga lake from the Sugar Ridge Inn. Then when you walk into the B&B, you immediately feel cozy and at home. The bedroom was spacious with a king bed, TV, heater, wine glasses, and a private bathroom. We were greeted with a warm welcome from Karen and Laura who were super friendly and kind hearted. They gave us suggestions on activities and attractions to visit while in the area. Lastly, the breakfast was extraordinary. They asked for our food preferences and made the most delicious meal we’ve had at any hotel or B&B. We also got to enjoy the food with the view of Cayuga lake and great company of course. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend this B&B to anyone.

My wife and I had a great visit for 3 nights at the Sugar Ridge Inn. Karen and Laura were very hospitable and made an amazing breakfast. The room was great, and the house is very rustic and authentic. There is plenty of room around the picturesque property to relax as well. The house was centrally located for access for us to wineries and other activities on Cayuga and Seneca Lake. Overall, I would highly recommend staying at the Sugar Ridge Inn during your visit to the Finger Lakes.

We didn't stay the night but my daughter and son in law were married there October 9th, 2021. Karen and Laura out did themselves. This is such a lovely backdrop for a wedding! We were treated like family in more ways than one. Their home is a step back in time filled with charm. The rooms are lovely and welcoming, a great place to kick back and just breath!! Located in the heart of the Finger Lakes wine trails your sure to love Sugar Ridge Inn! You'll come back year after year to be sure! Great place to start a new tradition.

We stayed at Sugar Ridge Inn multiple days in June 2021. This B&B is THE BEST for many reasons! The farmhouse, built around 1815, was gorgeous, as were the grounds. The property boasts a spectacular view of Cayuga Lake. Karen makes an excellent breakfast, which always came with fresh berries, yogurt, and granola. Karen also shared her extensive knowledge of the history of the property. Laura is an excellent resource about fun and engaging local activities and sightseeing. These ladies certainly went out of their way to make our vacation extra special- one we will fondly remember for years to come!

We didn't stay but our niece had her wedding there this past weekend. If you like Antiques and rustic, you will not be disappointed. Owners couldn't be nicer, food was fantastic as was everything else. Would not hesitate to recommend Sugar Ridge Inn to anyone looking for a beautiful get-a-way above Cayuga lake with great views!

This is a lovely B & B run by a dynamic mom n daughter duo, Karen and Laura. They are delightful, their inn is very well appointed and super comfortable. The homemade breakfasts will both fill you up to start the day and make you want to move in. The location is idyllic. There are Adirondack chairs on the front lawn from which there is a view of Cayuga Lake. If you're looking for an escape from the rat race to a beautiful spot, near enough to Cornell, Ithaca College, Ithaca downtown, sight seeing, and great local farm fare, yet secluded enough to hear a pin drop at night, this is a great spot to stay. Karen and Laura are super hospitable and very knowledgeable about the area.

Laura and Karen were exemplary hosts at the B&B. It was a lovely old home, and the layout was great. The surrounding countryside was absolutely beautiful, even pastoral with Cayuga Lake in the distance and cows 'lowing' in the field nearby. Built in the early 1800's, the house has a great vibe. No evelator, ability to negotiate stairs are a necessity. The location of the property made all of the wineries, awesome towns & shopping, and sightsee- ing very accessible. Karen was a wonderful provider of some awesome breakfasts, and the french press coffee provided a delicious and much needed jump-start to the days of sight-seeing and fun to be had. Also, they provided invaluable advice on some of the high points to be seen in the area.

My husband and I had a great time at the Inn! It was clean and cozy. Laura and Karen were delightful hosts and made a killer breakfast. They had great recommendations for things to do in the area, and the inn was close to a lot of hiking places. It was the best service we’ve ever had for an Inn/hotel.

This B&B is above and beyond your coziest dreams. It's views are absolutely breathe taking and the rooms themselves are so unique and wonderful. Karen and Laura are sincerely happy to meet you and treat you like a visiting family member. I can not give them higher praise and would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing get away without the hustle of the city and its also right on the wine trail in the heart of the Finger Lakes.

Was above and beyond what I had expected.the house is beautiful and full of great history. Room was awesome and breakfast was amazing.karen and Laura took care of us and are amazing people. Definitely looking forward to staying again in the near future. Highly recommend if you looking for a great place to stay in the heart of the fingerlakes.

A hidden gem tucked away in the Finger Lakes! The property is beautiful, the breakfast is delicious, and the owners truly make you feel like you’re at your home away from home. We just finished our second stay here at Sugar Ridge and can’t wait to return!!
