Iron Horse Outfitters and Inn

We stayed at the Inn over Labor Day weekend. The location is perfect - in the middle of town and around the corner from the bike trail head. The room was extremely clean and had everything we needed. We traveled with another couple so the gathering room was a great place to meet up at the end of the day. Will definitely be back! Thank you, Pat!

Found this place while on a motorcycle trip with my wife. The owner, Pat, was awesome! The place was very clean, bed was great, coffee in the morning and biker friendly. Pat also had some great suggestions on where to eat & drink that night and the next morning, right next door for breakfast. It was raining the next morning, I got a call from Pat letting me know that if we needed more time to hang before checking out, that we were welcome to wait for the rain to end if we needed. If you’re riding, looking for a great place to stay, we highly recommend the Ironhorse Inn. We’ll be back.

The friendly owner greeted us upon check-in and gave us helpful local recommendations. The hotel itself is very clean, cozy, and welcoming; our bed was comfortable.

We appreciated that this is seemingly one of the few places in town that doesn't have a two-night minimum stay, as we were only staying for one night.

Be aware that the hotel is upstairs in a historic building (which adds to the ambience), meaning that it's only accessible by stairs. If limited mobility is a concern, look elsewhere.

SUPER helpful getting a leather vest...ended up buying clears, a bandana, and gloves, too. Then we got a tour of their rooms upstairs which were beautiful. Would recommend to all biker visitors...stop in, grt what you need, maybe even stay the night!

I just can't say enough good things about our experience. The staff really made us feel like we were at home, all of the staff ride motorcycles and were so accommodating and friendly. Our room was super clean, and just like you would want at home.

We stayed here while in town for a funeral. Rooms were perfect and the service could not have been better. 3 of the 4 rooms were rented by relatives so we also made good use of the gathering room. Friendly, helpful staff and literally right next door to the best breakfast in town. Will stay here again-

Pat is the man. There's good motorcycle stores and less good motorcycle stores. This is a good motorcycle store. And the pastry shoppe next door has good pork chop sandwiches. Just bring cash or check.

Still cool! This is a unique place with interesting byways to explore with your motorcycle or bicycle. The Inn is special with interesting decor and centered in the best part of Lanesboro. The owners are fantastic and interesting folks.

My room was perfect: Clean, comfortable bed, great shower. The freezer/refridgerator a plus as was the gathering room with coffee machine.
Pat was very helpful. I look forward to my next bike ride on the Root River Trail and my stay at Iron Horse Outfitters and Inn.

My husband and I stayed at the Inn for our anniversary. Patrick, the owner, has done a wonderful job renovating the old building while maintaining its character. The historic pictures, railroad ties, and motorcycle decor were a nice touch. Our room had 15+ foot ceilings and slept 6 people. The room was impeccably clean and we got an awesome rate. We will definitely recommend to our friends!

Great selection for both men & women. Just added a new section of leathers, also carry used at fair prices. They have several pretty nice restored cycles that are on my wish list! They also have some very nice hotel rooms upstairs, but reserve well in advance as they're frequently full up... it's a friendly town though, so if they're full, they'll recommend others.

Incredible service! The gentleman, possibly the owner, was great to meet & welcome me to town. Room was stunning, clean, and very comfortable. Loved the gathering space and laundry room provided.

The Iron Horse was a great place to stay in Lanesboro! Pat is friendly and very helpful. The rooms are clean, well appointed, and modern. The bed was comfy and the Gathering Room would make for a great place to hang out if you're traveling with a group. We'll definitely be back!

Perfect place to stay for a biking (bicycle
or motorcycle) weekend. Super clean rooms, comfortable beds, hot showers and good coffee in the gathering room. Pat is a great host. I and my friends hope to return again.

King size beds, very quiet, Kuriq machine which my husband loved in the common area/lounge. Hot 💧 🚰 🚿 will be back for sure when in town again. Make sure you watch the parking as during winter months cant Park overnight on certain streets. Free wifi access. Lots of stairs but good exercise!!

Great rooms at the inn. New construction and every detail was taken into account. It has a nice common room in the front for hanging out and relaxing. The shop below is a must stop for any motorcycle enthusiast. New and used clothing and gear. A great place to find what you never expected.

Rooms were beautifully restored. Extremely clean and the owner Pat was a wonderfully helpful. Can’t say enough good things about our stay.

I would highly recommend this place! The rooms are clean, new, and QUIET! The other rooms were booked and literally heard no one unless we were in thr common area. Our room had a fridge with separate freezer and a microwave. It's in a great location too!

I shop at the store as I love their selections of shirts they have and of course the jewelry ! Awesome people and even go out of way to come and meet me when I needed shirts for a funeral of a friend who passed and they were closed but went off of their way to help me out ❤
