What a cute place! Love all the wood within the old space and the beers are great, I’m not huge on IPAs but loved Daisy. Add in that they had a food truck there when we went and makes it all even better!

Great location in an old grain building in Lanesboro. The building itself still has many original features. The beer was outstanding! We had the Willow (citrus wheat) and Cran Orange Sour. Outstanding! Service was great and very personable too. We sat outside and listened to some afternoon live music.

Super friendly people running the place! And how can you go wrong with a repurposed mill building? GREAT outdoor seating area. No food served but they're fine with you bringing food in. Can't wait to swing back!

One of the coolest breweries I’ve ever been to! The atmosphere was great and being from out of town, we felt welcomed with everyone being so nice. The beer was AWESOME! The lady at the front explained the beers in great detail which helped with choosing what we wanted in our flights. And WOW! The building is stunning! They have games and books to keep you entertained, and we left with merchandise that was priced really well. Hopefully, we’re back up in this area soon and we can visit again! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

How does a brewery like Sylvan end up in such a beautiful location in a tiny town like this? This place will give you 12 unique beers is an awesome historic building with fantastic surroundings.
I am a dark/German style beer guy and while they only had a few traditional beers for my traditional taste all the beers where quite good....I did tried them all. What really sold this place (beyond the good beer and great atmosphere) was their friendly service and locals like "Wild Bill." There is no dought I will come back regardless that they are not close to anywhere I need to be. You need to stop here and support the Sylvan.

Very nice facility and aesthetic. Good amount of seating for a small brewery and the beer was good! The amaretto sour weisse was unique. Very cool to see this old building repurposed while maintaining it's history.

This place is gorgeous! The exterior landscape is pretty. The brewery appears to be in an old grainery building. The interior is inviting with wood and beautiful accents. It's a smaller footprint for patrons, but very manageable since it wasn't overly crowded. I'd expect the beer to be marginal since the atmosphere and vibe are so wonderful but that's not the case. The beer is very good. I had the Daisy IPA and it's well done. Wife had a flight and really liked the Amaretto Sour (berliner Weiss) and the Gnarly (old ale). Would absolutely come back and try their other beers.

Great Place to stop on a cold winters day, warm and comfy. Plus great Beer and great customer service. Outside patio with a large fire pit. Gnary. is one of the best I have had in long time. Well worth going out of your way to stop, you will not be disappointed

Fall is in the air, a crisp November afternoon, and the fire pit is lit. Sylvan Brewing has a delicious selection of beer: light, dark; sweet, sour; bitter, hoppy. My flight was Bucksnort, Red Flannel, and Fiddlehead. My wife's was Willow, Amaretto Sour, Cran-Orange Sour, and Caramel Apple Sour.
It's hard to decide, but my favorite is Red Flannel, a smoky red ale, although the Fiddlehead porter was also amazing. My wife loved all of hers, perhaps with an edge to the Cran-Orange Sour.

Escaping the home we have been ensconced for the last eleven months, to find ourselves in the hospitable town of Lanesboro. We came for the suites at Stone Mill and couldn’t resist visiting the brewery across the street. This newly found brewery deserves all the five star reviews and rivals any in North East. Our flight was tasty and we brought a growler of the Sweetbender IPA back with us. My partner call both IPAs top notch, with the Daisy Hazy as a great juicy, citrus filled IPA. Their attention to details in their beer comes through in other areas as well. The building history was honored, with fun touches that subtly reveal themselves as you settle in for a pint. Impressive and clean bathrooms will always stick with me, and we took a picture for inspiration. Can’t wait to come back in warmer weather to check out the patio (it is open year around)! Thanks for the wonderful service (and taking great precautions during the pandemic.) PS. The logo is just so cute, I even bought a shirt!

What a sweet place to settle in on a hot afternoon! The shady patio is so welcoming, and the owners go out of their way to make you feel at home. We were even able to get a tour of the amazing building, which used to be a granary.

Came here hoping to find food because it smelled so good. Got sent up the street...had to come back and very pleased that we did!

The building is a converted grain elevator, you can tell from the outside. Inside is a different story, looks like a rustic mountain inn? From Germany? Wouldn't be sure, because I have yet to be to a rustic jnn....let alone Germany(some day?).

Oh yeah, the beer is AMAZING also! Just come here, ok?

(They also have a nice X-Files painting)

Great atmosphere! Plenty of seating areas inside and outside. Outside had tables, chairs, couches. Some areas where covered others had umbrellas. Inside was similar seating with table and chairs and big comfortable couches and chairs. Lots of board games to play. Bartenders where very friendly and helpful. Beer was only micro brew and lots of choices with free samples. There was a food truck outside with perfect prepared hamburgers. Overall great place to stop

We absolutely LOVE this place! We come as often as we can and we even bring our little kids with. It’s a very clean, safe, and friendly environment that is amazing inside and out. Everyone who works there is delightful, the beer is wonderful, there is seating inside and outside, they have a ton of games to play and great merch for sale. The patio is the scene for lots of fun in the summer! On the weekends they have live music 🎶
Maybe my favorite part is that we usually get to catch up with several friends when we come. Gathering as a community seems to just happen here without anyone planning it. Sylvan has done a fantastic job!

Great brews and friendly staff. My friend and I split 6 small beers for $15. Brew for brew, they have an All Star lineup. 5/5

I LOVE-LOVE this place. Excellent IPA's--BEST I ever had, "Daisy" is my favorite--AND my husband who doesn't "drink" BUT they have excellent nonalcoholic specialty beers, that are actually amazingly good--he enjoys!. The atmosphere is awesome, the people great. I highly recommend!!!

We loved the Sylvan Brewery! The beer was amazing! My favorite was Willow and my husbands was the Hazy IPA. The staff was friendly and the brewery was an old grain elevator. Wonderfully decorated! We brought in dinner from a local restaurant, drank beer and played cards. Looking forward to going back!
