The Studio Hair Design

Been to a few places in town and they do an okay job but when I would ask for a specific style and show them a picture it never looked how I wanted. I tried here for the first time last week and they got it exactly how I asked for it. It hasn't even been a full week and I've had multi people mention that they like it and that typically never happens. Will definitely be back.

Chris has been doing my hair for 6 years! I have tried many different hairstyles and always feel confident in the studios services and customer service. They have always listened to me and I really feel like Chris and her team are good friends I can trust with my hair. Never going anywhere else in Marquette!

Chris is a wonderful designer, friendly and easy to talk to about my hair, and her experience shows! I see her do a great job with training new hires as well. I usually go in for partial or full foils to maintain my short blonde hair, and I get great advice for styling and maintenance.

Alyssa did a outstanding job on a haircut and perm, I am beyond satisfied! She knows exactly what to do and the best way to do it. First pictures are the after production, last two pictures are before the cut and perm. Staff was also friendly and outgoing!

I visited the studio yesterday for the first time- I had such a nice experience, and was so lucky to get Mary as my stylist! She was so patient with my hair, took the time to explain everything she was doing with it and went out of her way to make sure it turned out well. She was also very personable, welcoming and sweet, I highly recommend booking an appointment at the Studio and asking for Mary :)

The Studio Hair Design is the only place I have ever gotten my hair done, and the only place that I ever will get my hair done. I trust all the workers. They are very confident in what they do. They are kind, hardworking and make you feel right at home. They are very polite, and open to ideas when it comes to the hairstyle that you want! I would recommend The Studio for everyone. Because, they meet the needs for everybody!

this place has fabulous stylists and hair designers who work wonders on hair. the salon is clean, has online booking, and great pricing. I would 100% recommend to anyone needing a fresh cut, new style, or added color

I've been coming to The Studio since I've moved to Marquette. The stylists are knowledgeable and always listen to what I'd like! Zach has been doing my hair for a year and I've never had more consistent good hair days. I highly recommend stopping in!

What an amazing, and exciting wedding weekend in Marquette, Michigan! As the Mother of the Bride, I wanted to extend my personal "Thank You" to the entire team (and especially to my personal, and most fabulous hair stylist "Zach") at @The STUDIO Hair Design for making our wedding day (hair) day so perfect in so many ways! The team went out of their way to help make us comfortable and relaxed (a difficult task for the MOB, haha) and the team was exceptionally personable, truly listening to what each and every one of the girls (including me;) wished for our wedding hair to be. The Studio has a welcoming friendly atmosphere. Each person is greeted and attended to immediately upon arrival. If you have a short wait before your appointment there is comfortable seating, magazines and good conversation abounds. Stylist Mary Moratti has a keen ability to read her clients and adjust the plan as needed to make you feel at ease with fun changes or subtle color alterations. I feel part of the family as soon as I walk in the door!

Mary M. is amazing at what she does! She truly cares about you and your hair. She is patient and takes her time, making sure her work is perfect and that you are satisfied. Super friendly staff and a clean shop. Stop on in to the Studio Hair Design and ask for Mary!

Very nice employees, the owner Chris did my hair exactly how I wanted! I felt very educated on what was going on during the coloring process. Definitely will be returning!

I have been coming to the Studio for years. I have tried other salons only to be very dissapointed. One thing I love is they constantly stay updated on training with the best hair designers in the world! Quality matters and I cant settle for anything less!

I went here to have my hair salvaged after Regis Salon completely jacked it up. Everyone was so polite and professional, and clearly knew what they were doing. (Ask for Toni!) I was given a discount at checkout because they felt bad for my situation. I'll definitely be going here again.

I visited this salon during Ladies Night (11/21/2013) because I had heard their Redkin product was 50% off. I have naturally curly hair and I have had such a hard time finding a product that works with my hair and doesn't make it wet or crunchy looking.

While I was there- I orginally planned on buying Redkin however; the lady working showed me the Moroccanoil Curl Defining Cream and she even showed me a sample of how it was smooth and not sticky feeling like a lot of the other products I tried. She explained that a bottle lasts her around 3 months, and that sounded like a great investment to me!

I never caught her name, but she was SO helpful and really explained things to me- and was honest about all of the products. I tried it this morning and I love it. My curls are bouncy and not weight down- and my hair looks dry and not crunchy!

I did not have my hair cut here or anything- so I can't review that aspect but I just wanted to say Thank You to the lady who helped me out last night and that I love the Moroccanoil Curl Defining Cream! :)

Mary saved me today from a terrible cut by a stylist far from here. The salon is nice and clean, they accommodated me quickly, and I am super happy with the cut. Highly recommended.

I've been having my hair cut by Zach for about 2 years and I am happy to say I am a loyal customer! I always leave very impressed- not to mention, Zach is an awesome person!

Hairstylist (Zach) was very awesome! Captured what I wanted while improving it too. This was my first professional haircut in a long time & I was very impressed.
