cal's cookies are so good and the pasties are also amazing!!! the store is always full of the best candies and food. if you need groceries, deserts, and a selection of homemade food it is the best place to go.

If you’re from out of town, if you’ve lived in mqt for years, if you just haven’t quite made it over to the Southside, no matter who you are, you need to go get a Chocolate Chip Cals Cookie right now. I don’t know what magician they have back there making their desserts and pastries but our little south side corner store has the best desserts in town. Not just the cookie either, try them all. I promise they couldn’t be hyped up enough.

Great sandwiches, AWESOME shells n cheese, lasagna and mostaccioli! But there is not a better tasting or selection of cookies!! Oatmeal chocolate chip and the cowboy are my favorites. 1 cookies is equivalent to 8 regular cookies

Delicious homemade salads. The meats are priced good and they have good hamburger, pork chops and steaks.

I drove all the way from New Haven Michigan to get Cal's pasties I love them thank you whoever makes those they're excellent can't wait to come back next year

Great staff, love the stuffed shells and shepherds pie! They also have the best tasting giant cookie this side of the mighty mack

Cal's has been a south Marquette staple for long as I remember. The best pasties ever! Not to mention everything else you find in the store is amazing. But I personally miss the Kukoos Nest

Always a great experience walking in. Friendly cashier, good selection of premade foods and goodies. Only gripe is that on Saturdays the sandwiches are often out of stock. Love that MASH is on half the time

If you live near this place you will most likely be here every day. They have most of what you need. Any good they make themselves is awesome; pasties, pasta & potato salad, twice baked potatoes, cookies, so if it is really good.

Great place to pick something up quickly. The staff are all friendly and even remember your name. The homemade food is equal to any eatery in town and their homemade pasties are out of this world!

The pasties are pretty good...huge.....but those large peanut butter cookies are the best cookie of any kind I ever had. I will be back !!

BEST place for Pasties! The homemade deli section is Awesome. Homemade desserts! Homemade Rice crispy bars! Pricey beer...

Delicious homemade pasties and desserts for a good price. They also have a good selection of shelf food, beer/wine, and frozen dinners. Very convenient.

Great old-fashioned corner grocery/convenience store that are, sadly, slowly disappearing. Great customer service, always parking in the lot, and a good selection of anything you need for your last-minute party or get-together.

It is the gem of south Marquette. Sharon does a wonderful job on all the food she prepares. Her shoes will be hard to fill when she retires.

Awesome place with great staff! Their subs are seriously legit! Lower price and better tasting than subway or Jimmy Johns!
