I personally love Marquette Mountain. I grew up there spending all my day skiing. the year of 2024 was a bummer due to lack of snow and warm weather but every other year has been fantastic thanks to the caring friendly workers. Thank you all for giving myself and everyone else so many wonderful experiences!

First time here in March of 2023 and super impressed. Really enjoyed skiing at this site. Nice variety of runs and some ungroomed areas to enjoy. The staff was excellent as well.

Visited again in March 2024. Tough season for all resorts, but this one still had plenty of skiing left. Staff was great! Hoping for more snow next year.

The view of Lake Superior from the top of the mountain is a must see.
There are several nice black diamond runs. There is a mix of groomed and ungroomed including moguls and tree skiing.

Chair 3 goes over the Carp River.

"The T-BAR" has several craft cocktails and local & domestic beers on tap.

There is a cafeteria with a large space with lots of tables and a small fireplace.

Can't wait to ski here again.

Excellent service and great drinks fireplace was inviting. Laughter was all over. We watched people ski as we ate, and loved the warm and cozy lodge. Being in the snow is a great way to spend time together with the family ❤

I went mountain biking here and it was amazing. I went during the week, so sadly the lifts weren't running and I had to hike to the top each time to go down. The hike up to the top is steep and long, but it is worth it for the runs down. I have never been to a downhill place like this before and I sadly don't have anything like this around where I live. I sadly only got about one and a half runs in before I crashed. I have been mountain biking for around 10 years, and I made the mistake of going a little too fast the second time down and paid for it. I flew over my bars and messed up my bike rim and my shoulder along with mashing my finger pretty good. Consider this a warning to keep doing slow runs until you are fully comfortable with the course before trying to go fast. I only for a run and a half in and was out for the rest of the time I was here. Excellent downhill trails, just be safe out there.

Can't tell much because we could not access due to weather, but the little we saw, beautiful!

Went summer of 2021 for MT biking and it was great. Fast efficient and Jawbone was my favorite run.

Went skiing with family in Dec of 2021 and had a great time again. Sage in rentals was super helpful.

Very fun day skiing. $25 for a day lift ticket. Very reasonable lunch prices. Nice snow and everyone was very friendly. I would definitely recommend it.

Love the trails here. I’ve flown as far as Crested Butte for downhill before. But after visiting Marquette Mountain and the next door South trails (plus a few trips to nearby Copper Harbor), just can’t find a reason to fly elsewhere anymore.

Yes, they have chair lifts.

Wonderful day of skiing at Marquette Mountain in late January. Despite the very cold temps we had a great time and the snow was perfect! Definitely want to make a return trip the next time we're in the area!

For a Michigan ski hill, MM has satisfying vert, great views and substantial snow making. Gentle bunny hill, great staff and bar.

Very convenient, used my ripley season pass to get the one free day at Marquette. Hill had full coverage for being late in season.

Heck yes! Thanks for taking things up a notch out there! So glad to have a bike park in our awesome town! Thank you for investing in the riding community like you have.
Riding from home, grabbing a lift or two up ( and a beer) and pedaling home creates a riding experience unlike anywhere else!
Thank you!

We've skied many states; MM has definitely been the most enjoyable in the last 18 years.

There are bigger hills, larger resorts, places with more lifts... but none that I've skied in OH, MI, CO, and WI has been as convenient, comfortable, and easy as Marquette Mountain. Great value too.

Lots of pluses -- Per my wife, cleanest bathrooms of any ski hill she's seen. Bathrooms with hot water. Even early season w/ half the mountain open its offered a full week of day-on/day-off skiing for our two families (4 adults, 2 teens, 2 kids). Ticketing staff insured we got a great package deal -- lowest I paid for skiing since college. Locals and staff very friendly. Food decent. Lift lines mostly quite short. Well-groomed. Good lighting for night skiing. Fireworks at midnight on 31 Dec 14 were just icing on the cake.

Fantastic slopes with a mixture of steep slopes and gradual. There was barely any ice on the slopes, and if there was they had it roped off. The boots were comfortable for me and didn't have any spots where the hard plastic dug in. My boyfriend said the men's boots did a little bit. We got there when they had a free lesson that we joined since it had been a few years since either of us skied. The instructor was very friendly and adjusted the lesson for our skill level and for the beginners who were in the lesson too. We then got to leave the lesson early to ski after we showed we got it, instead of having to wait for everyone else and miss out on skiing freely before they closed. The instructor did a great job refreshing us on turns and describing how its controlled by our toes and weight shifting. I fell zero times. Days before at Caberfae I fell every time, which was discouraging, because I couldn't remember how to control the turns properly.
