Remies Bar

First time there while I was on Vacation. Went to a couple other Bars in Town, didn't like them, and found this one. I actually visited it 4 times during Vacation. I walked a few blocks to go, and there was actually a Bar right across the street from my Hotel! I will definitely visit again next year on Vacation in Marquette. I met 3 different Bartenders and they were all absolutely great. See you all next year!

Love this bar, amazing staff, very entertaining. All around, our fav place to visit while in town visiting family!!! Bar owner is TOP NOTCH and truly cares about everyone!! Amazing servers as well! Some of the best cocktails I've ever had, created by Mr Russ himself! 100 stars from me!

Awesome place we stumbled across in Marquette. Service was great. atmosphere was great. People were friendly. No kitchen or food. Just a good time bar. Restrooms could use a little fixing up but We will definitely go back again!!

The bar tender is a wealth of information. The drinks were delicious.

I had an INCREDIBLE time here! The drinks are great, the people are fun and the prices are reasonable. It’s the best townie bar I’ve been to in a very long time.

Awesome little bar in Marquette! My party met some people at the hotel that recommended this place for good drinks. Comfortable little bar with an old school feeling. Service and drinks were great! I will be back on my next visit to Marquette.

Absolutely right for the price. Well run. Friendly staff. Great for mid-day shooters, happy-hr, or last call shoots. Friendly. Local. Great atmosphere all around.

Standard-issue bar, which is why it's great! Belly up and have some pops without (a) begging for service, (b) going hungry, (c) dull beer choices, and (d) a crowd of louts. Marquette as a rule doesn't serve up any of these negatives, but Remies even less so than the norm. Ah, and they brought the added bonus of not being expensive.

Fantastic night atmosphere, bartenders have the greatest service in town! Great selection of mixed drinks, better than any other bar in town! Heather always has great conversations with customers and always has a fantastic work ethic!

Went here on my 21st birthday and it was a blast! The bartenders we all super friendly and wished me a happy birthday as well. Make sure you tip the bartenders because they do an amazing job! This place is hands down the best bar in Marquette and a great place for college students to have some fun

Insanely cheap drinks. We went on a Tuesday and had quart containers of mixed drinks for $4. Two pool tables and perfect divey atmosphere. Russ the owner is a character and made the night more enjoyable and memorable. One of my favorite bars anywhere. Highly recommend

The place was great. The giant that was behind the bar told us there had been a tavern there for 125 years and that Remies had been there since 1939. So cool to be able to sit and grab a drink with your friends in a place that has so much backstory to it. I had three old fashioneds. Each one had a different available garnish. They were very well made. You can tell it's a good spot!

Great college bar with many beautiful men and women working and patrons. They made you feel right at home with their giant drinks! 6 shots per cup! It was massive and delicious. They know how to pour drinks!

Russ and the rest of the staff are exceptional! There are games behind the counter, plenty of space to play games and two pool tables, a jukebox, great drink deals in huge cups, and the coldest beer in town! I always feel welcome there and go there more than any bar in town.

Russ is the 4th generation of family to hold ownership in this bar. I know this because he takes the time to know his customers. This was my first time in the UP and this bar and it's owner attributed to one phenomenal time up here. We were here on a Saturday night as the college crowd rolled in but the staff made it feel like we were the only ones here. If you're looking for anything from a casual drink out to a great, fun time, choose Remies!

Russ is the Man. First time there last night and I'm already excited to go back. If you don't know what you want to drink, this guy can make anything and everything and it doesn't disappoint. It's easily my top favorite bar in Marquette.

Remies has this awesome bartender with the name of Russ. Russ is what a bartender should be. Welcoming. Fun. Entertaining. Catering. I rarely find someone like this at a bar and he is what makes this place rock and roll. He crafts a cocktail to you. The atmosphere was so much fun. I’ve been back and will continue coming back. Keep it up Russ!

Tap craft brews as well as tap cheap brews and 40s on ice. Very mixed crowd. Great place to get loud and have fun. Kinda quiet early on but can get quite full and loud as the night goes on. 32 oz long island specials on Thursday!

I must visit every time we go! We love this dive bar!
