Presque Isle Park - Bog Walk

Great walk. The trail gets a little obscured and over grown, but is still a great walk and feels like wandering out off trail. Lots of different flowers and dragonflies. Saw a lot of frogs as well. The informational signs were great with really good information. There was also access to the lake half way though the walk. Walk was about 45 minutes.

There's a certain mystique to bogs, with their unique make up and wildlife, and this is no different. We saw a few interesting birds, as well as evidence of beavers and muskrats. There are some benches and information signs around the walk, and at the far end there's access to a little beach with some interesting rocks. Though other parts of the park looked pretty busy when we were there, we were alone in the bog until we were almost back to our car.

Nice walk and great displays. Lots of Pokestops & a gym too. Just completed tons of work. Looking forward to seeing it re-develop. Just watch out for aggressive geese in spring & early summer.

Wasn't quite what everyone was expecting but an interesting nature walk, the short trail is paved/boardwalk & a sharp contrast to the surrounding forest

If you want to get closer to nature its a great way to do it. There are many trails; some are marked some aren't. If your a fan of wild life the deer on the island always seem to pop up in random spots. The deer also tend to be in a group by the new pavilion! All in all beautiful views and swimming areas; if your brave you can try cliff jumping at black rocks on the far side of the island. Enjoy nature, views, swimming, hiking the trails, and cliff jumping!

Great spot for a quick jaunt or hours on end through some interesting habitat. A top-tier location for bird watching!

Gorgeous and educational. Very recommended if you're the curious sort or have children/groups.

They need to make repairs to the pedestrian bridges and walkway. It’s somewhat disappointing.
