We loved our stay! Super friendly staff! Our cabin was clean and had everything we needed! It was a big bonus that we could bring our beloved dogs with us on this trip!

Our first time here. This place is amazing. Pizza is incredible, cabins very clean, staff so friendly. The driver is gorgeous and we are next to the best mountain bike trails in the region. We will be back!

This place is magical! I loved the bar and lodge along with the pizza! Live music on the weekends, good vibes, and great views of the river. You have everything you need right there! The pool and hit tub was a plus but our main excitement was how close we were to the bike park and trails! Everyone is laid back, chill and happy to help. We already plan to be back next year!

We love camping at Rippling River every summer! Staff is always super friendly, we love the community bonfire by the river (on weekends), live music, pizzas, pool and hot tub and mini golf! And the location is perfect to all the great things Marquette has to offer!

I wish this place wasn't so far from home! Great place to stay. Connects to lots of walking and biking trails ranging from easy to difficult. The seating area down by the river is fantastic! The woof fired pizza was great. Keep in mind the campground is newer. So the trees are small yet. I can't fault them for that.

Best campground. Really cool on site bar, pool, hot tub, super nice bathrooms with full HOT showers. Stayed here for the Marquette Mountain Bike Enduro and it was perfect.

Great place for mountain bikers. Trail head is right around the corner. I stayed here for Marji and loved the rustic camp spots right along the river creating ambient noise.

This beautiful resort exceeded all of our expectations. We stayed in the RV section for the four days we were in Marquette and we felt like we found a hidden gem. The amenities were fantastic. We enjoyed the multilayered decks overlooking the river, the bar and eating area, and the wonderful live music on our last night there. The staff were fantastic - we just can’t say enough about this place. We will definitely be returning.

We were super happy with our stay in the rustic cabins. We had to book 2 separate cabins because they were booked up when we called but they were super accommodating and even moved our bedding over for us.

The cabins and bathhouses were clean and the kids were happy with the pool, mini-golf and the trails. We can't wait to come back and try out the glamping tent!

After being there, I could live there all summer. Right on the Carp River and the South Marquette bike trails, it's the perfect place to camp.
There is a stone pizza maker where you can get a delicious pizza and a bar for drinks.
If you are here for biking or other activities, the biking trails are right at the entrance to the campground. The campground sits on the bottom of the ski hill where many receptions are held. It also sits at the bottom Marquette Mountain, which offers breathtaking views of the city and lake.
If there were any complaints at all, it would be the price, parking and the showers.
You are only allowed one vehicle per campsite...that makes it difficult when you have a large family where one vehicle tows the camper and one has the kids. They do have overflow parking, but for those people with troubles walking, it can be a hike to the lot. Additionally, they patrol to the point that if your second car is there unloading items, they will hand you a placard stating any further "offenses," and they will take your license. So, you seriously can not have a car full of your stuff and unload next to the car that is hooked to the camper. Most ALL campgrounds allow 2 vehicles for this reason, so I would only request they review this practice. Save the overflow for visitors.
The showers are single rooms but beautiful, clean and large with toilet and sink...however, there aren't enough of them for a campground of this size. They probably need to add at least double what they have.
Finally, the price. Most campgrounds charge about half of this one. Which has been my personal deterrent until now. We pay anywhere between $35 and $50 for a campsite around the UP (we camp 5 or 6 times a summer), but the price here is $80 a night.

Otherwise, it is a phenomenal campground and worth it.

We stayed in our 5th wheel for 3 days. It is a lovely area and very well maintained. They have the beautiful river right in their back yard. We will definitely go back.

Awesome as always. Cabin was clean and cozy, the staff is top notch!
Location is perfect for a lot of activities winter and summer. The campground property is adjoining Marquette mountain ski resort and the NTN south trails. It's also just a few miles from some great breweries and restaurants.

This place was amazing!! We stayed three nights, two in cabins and one on a site. They have one of everything here, including some pretty nice fully rustic spots riverside.

The rustic cabins were super nice and have electric and heat which was unexpected. Pretty quiet in the back but you'll possibly get to know your neighbors! Electronic locks on all bathrooms and showers which, honestly, was really nice. You always get a personal and private, heated bathroom. Showers were really nice and it didn't seem to matter how busy the place was because the bathrooms were never dirty. I don't think I've ever seen such consistently clean bathrooms, and there must have been 100+ mtn bikers there.

The last night, we took advantage of the on-site bar and patio to listen to some really good live music. The atmosphere of the bar was so nice. Lights and heaters keep it cozy, and it overlooks the small river and a massive firepit.

We'll definitely be coming back to this place when we're in the area. We didn't take advantage of the heated pool and hot tub, but it looked nice. I like all the little touches that make this place so fun. Some of the signage got laughs from our group. It's perfect for an adult group.

In my opinion, this place should be the textbook example of how a campground should be managed. The entrance road was wide and paved with easy access to check in. ALL buildings and amenities, including the camp office, restrooms, heated pool, hot tub, gazebo etc...were immaculate. The office attendants are professional, attentive, very friendly and know the park well. (What a refreshing change to the disinterested kids we found at other parks!) We stayed at lot 70 which was spacious for our 22' camper and close to the nicest private shower house I have ever seen! Our site was electric only so we filled the fresh water tank at the water station...that place was also very spacious, clean and equipped with a hose that allowed us to fill without digging our hose out....not a big deal but little perks like that which make things smooth after a long day of driving all make a difference! Camp roads are wide, campsites are easily accessible. The walking trails are nice! They even have a bar and pizza at the office, and often have live music at the absolutely beautiful gazebo area located by the brook that runs through the back of the campground. We wanted to extend our stay but no surprise they were fully booked already. Very highly recommend this park.

Not sure about the rooms since I went to Morgan falls. It's AMAZING though.. came back to a ticket on my crv. Said... I was parked in a "restricted area" there are no signs but, on the road. Marquette police will ticket any cars, vehicles park across the street at the business. And it was mother's day when I got mine. I lost my mom 3mo ago and it was definitely a slap in the face.

Stayed in a luxury cabin in January and it was awesome. The cabin was cozy with plenty of room and all the things you needed for your stay. The lodge had free coffee and muffins and a bar with a large selection of drinks to enjoy there or take to your cabin. Comfortable porch to enjoy their really good pizza. Great having so many biking/hiking trails out your door. Fun having the ski hill there to watch others enjoy the outdoors. I hear it’s enjoyable in the summer also with the pool and I hope to go in the summer.

We got a deal staying in the cabins here during March Madness. Super easy access to the trail system and the ski slopes. Cabin was cozy and clean and matched the ad. We slept 4 but had room for up to 6. Don't plan to cook much here; there is only a microwave and small fridge with freezer. There was a little store at the bottom with snacks and drinks. They provided free muffins in the morning and a coffee maker in the cabin. We heard live music while we were there and used the hot tub. We had a great time and would recommend staying here.
