Noquemanon North Trails Trailhead

Some of the best trails in Michigan. Miles and miles of well maintained and marked trails. Beautiful scenery and landmarks to check out. We had a great time exploring the North and South Trails over the weekend and can't wait to go back and do it again.

This is a great trail to take your spouse on if they're not super experienced at biking. We really enjoy ourselves.

I couldn't believe how well marked and crafted these trails are. They are obviously intended for mountain biking but hikers can enjoy them just as well. Lots of great single track and some double track. Huge variation in both elevation and types of runs. I'm so thoroughly impressed. The trail makers really know what they are doing to make an entertaining experience. Even though there is some uphill in areas, it's not bad and well rewarded when you get over it. When you do stop to take in the view, it's gorgeous. Just make sure you don't get distracted in a fast stretch because you need to keep your wits about you. And dispite it's popularity, it is far from being crowded. Be nice and say hi!.

Trails are awesome to hike and enjoy the marsh near the end.

Upsetting to say the least. I cried multiple times on the adventure due to the dead squirrel I saw on the trail. How could someone just let him die like that? I tried performing CPR on the poor guy but alas, I was much too late. My wife kept complaining about my crying fits but, what can you do? It's about time I start to accept he's gone.

Very well marked; trails are well defined. We hiked this trail Nov 17, 2019. Scenery along lakes and rivers covered in snow was amazing. There are trails all over the place. Use the AllTrails app to find them all.

Some of the best mountain bike trails in the Midwest. If you're in town be sure to hit them up Lakeshore bike shop can set you up with a really nice rental if you left your bike at home

I went for cross country skiing and the classic trails were well groomed and the scenery was beautiful. I will be going back for more adventures in the future.
