Residence Inn by Marriott Lansing West

Staff was always pleasant and cheerful. Great room for the price. Fantastic breakfast all 3 mornings. Several options to choose from even for picky eaters like my self. I enjoyed the full mini kitchen in my room. Also the desk with a nice view outside.
Another thing that is a bonus about this location. All areas, inside and out were very well lit. I had no difficulty seeing the sidewalks or the parking lot at night.

Great place to stay very clean, very quiet.
Breakfast was typical of have a free breakfast But everything was hot, fresh and good.
Location was great about a 5 minute.Job from everything and the staff was very courteous and helpful

The room is a good size, comfortable furniture with everything you need for a weekend stay.
Breakfast is amazing. A variety of things that anyone would like. Overall a very good property at a very affordable price.

Rooms were perfect for my family of 4. My entire extended family stayed and everyone was pleased. Ms. Irene that handles breakfast in the morning was absolutely amazing and so was the food. She was so sweet to my young kids, we could use more wonderful people like her in this world. To her manager she needs a big RAISE! Also that was the best breakfast we’ve ever had in a hotel. We will definitely be back!!!

After having had a my condo redtagged due to water damage from from a neighbors fire, my insurance put me up here for about 6 months. My insurance adjuster has caused alot of unnecessary problems making the whole process extra stressful but my staying here has been the one extremely positive experience I've had. The entire staff has been amazing, helping me putting out extra fire my adjuster seems to enjoy causing, and making me feel at home here. Carrie and her team are outstanding. The rooms are fully equipped for long term stays and the amenities are great. Couldn't have asked for a better place to live while waiting out the construction.

Our stay here was absolutely awesome. Every staff member was helpful and cordial. I was welcomed by Mario at the front desk and treated to a stellar customer service experience. He was professional and expedient all while being kind and attentive. When we had breakfast in the morning, it was delicious and served by Santana. Who was an amazing employee and went out of his way to make my five kids and my breakfast an awesome and smooth experience. Easiest 5 stars ever. Kudos to everyone there and thank you!

I had a wonderful time staying at the residence inn. Every staff member was so friendly and accommodating. I liked being greeted and welcomed back. I felt very welcomed here and checking out was a breeze. The rooms are very spacious and well designed. The heating kicks in quick and warms up the place very fast. The breakfast is very good with slight changes in variety each day. I especially loved the omelets, meat choices, bagels and fruit. I've stayed at 4 and 5 star hotels that were less spacious with very bland breakfast options. I will stay here again when I come back. The TV is very easy to use. I appreciate having the option of signing into my netflix and YouTube account from the TV as well.

It's a good place to stay when you're in the West Lansing area. Good check in experience (best bag of treats I've ever gotten for my status!). Nice room. Pretty good breakfast. I left something in my room and used the chat feature in the app to request they set the item aside for me, which worked beautifully!

My stay was ffor a month ,it is a very nice motel,my housekeeper her name was sacelia she is very professional and freindly .i highly recommend this motel for a very good stay .my rateing is a 10

Had to stay in this hotel after having to leave my home in the middle of the night. The staff was very helpful. They saw I was distraught and made sure I felt safe and at ease with checking in. This hotel is dog friendly as my 4th child (yorkie) had to come with us.
My only issue was the pool was never open and the breakfast wasn't all that great.
The staff, however; was amazing!!!

I am very impressed with the 2 beautiful ladies with welcoming smiles and a friendly greeting as soon as I walked in. They were happy to help with several of my questions. The room is very spacious and clean. I'm looking forward to the rest of the week here.

Great part of the city to be in. What they don't tell you is that you have to take out your own trash. Maybe that's normal since Covid. I've not traveled much since then. But it was unusual for me. The staff are very friendly and accommodating!

Front staff was absolutely AMAZING! rooms are extremely clean, very nice, pool is warm gym everything.

I stay here when travelling on business. Clean rooms, friendly staff, very good breakfast - hot and cold items available. Rooms are large and comfortable. I forgot my razor once and they had a spare for me to use. Close to good restaurants (I like the sushi place on the same street). Not sure what else to say about it - I've stayed here at least 7 times - and will continue to come here as long as I am doing business in the area.

Let me first confirm the hotel is indeed temporarily closed until at least fall due to a water main break and renovations. Like others writing reviews I experienced a similar surprise to show up with no room availability. Marriott Loyalty “guaranteed” the room and ensured me (by more than one agent) that they were open. Frustrating.

Silver lining, we met Brandon at Fairfield next door (same management company) who helped us out and made things much better.

I blame Marriott Corporate for not recognizing the hotel is down for renovations, very unlike them. These bad reviews should not reflect poorly on the management company as they are the only one who stood up and made things right. I look forward to visiting the newly renovated Residence Inn soon. Excellent service. The staff was really nice and helpful. The room was perfect for what we were looking for. We stayed in a two bedroom suite and hung out at the pool all evening. I will definitely stay here again.

The front desk team was great and very friendly. The maintenance was very fast I asked about my curtains they replaced them the next day miss Brittany was a great help. Mr.Jason makes a wonderful weekend breakfast. Miss Rose always leaves my suite very clean and smelling nice
