Quality Suites

We came into town for just an overnight stay, stayed here because it was so close to Horrocks 😊A beautiful location, excellent service, rooms were very clean. (Our only issue was the jarring noise the AC / heat unit made each time it shut off. Luckily it's late spring we were able to just shut it off completely)The breakfast was top notch, many choices! Would absolutely stay again.

We stay here every time we're in town. However, the ownership has changed lately and it is disappointing to see the things that made it worthwhile are quickly disappearing, even some of the staff! The small things are important to guests, and so are the people that we've become friendly with! No pop machine during the day, no hot chocolate, reduced breakfast items, no (regular) social hour...and for sure if Tom goes, we go with him. Now I understand the necessity of change, but it should be for the better! Nickel and diming your guests will change your clientele because like us, the only reason we go to this hotel now is amazing staff and value for our money.

All around very clean. Breakfast was great. They had a very nice cook (older gentleman) whom did a wonderful job. Was really surprised at being offered a home cooked breakfast rather than frozen then warmed up food. Front desk who checked me in was very friendly and did a wonderful job. Beautiful set up and lobby.
The ONLY thing I could even recommend is water pressure in our shower wasn’t very good. But still overall a great place to stay for a great price.

The service was professional and friendly. The hotel is interesting in its design, but in a good way.
The one thing that caused me to give a lesser rating for the room was the strange furnace situation. Our room had a note that said the heat had to be set at 68° or the system would freeze. When the furnace turned on at 2:00 am, it was loud! We were glad that the room was warm enough that the beast only turned on once. Temperatures were in the single digits during our stay. Otherwise the room was very spacious with a couch and coffee table, and a pocket door to close off the bedroom completely from the seating area.

This hotel surprised me. It was really nice for a few key reasons. First, the lobby Is huge and there are two of them. One is on the 2nd floor and one on the 1st floor. The rooms are spacious and cleaned well and look good too. The breakfast is restaurant quality with all sorts of different things from eggs & bacon to cinnamon rolls.
The service people are nice and always get things done quickly and I would rate this hotel a 11/10 if I could I highly recommend it.

We stayed here for one night. All of the front desk people were very nice. The room was clean. But Tom, the breakfast chef was phenomenal!!!! Not only was he extremely nice, friendly and funny the food was good!!! Keep up the great work Tom!!!

This is hands down the best hotel we've stayed at in our travels. Our company works in 7 states twice a year. Obviously, we stay at a lot of hotels. Most are mediocre at best. Some are downright disgusting. I can't think of a single negative thing to say about this one. Quality Inn has taken this one to the top of the top. From the excellent service from Hailey at the front desk, the housekeeping (rooms were perfectly cleaned and very spacious), the shower had awesome pressure and water was good and hot, the breakfast with Tom and Charlie could not have been better! Hospitality at its best. I will be making this a permanent stop on our future trips. I can't say enough good things about this place. Excellent!!!!!

Nice and clean rooms. Very quiet, even on a Saturday. Breakfast was delicious. They have the cutest older gentlemen serving a tasty breakfast with a great variety.

Nice hotel with large rooms and just-right-firm beds. The front desk staff is super helpful as you check in and for any questions along the way. The breakfast... The breakfast is honestly one of the best we have had at a hotel and even rivals some recent restaurant experiences- super crisp hash browns and excellent fresh made breakfast casserole. If Crazy Tom is in the kitchen, go with his recommendations, he didn't steer us wrong one bit.

Clean, big rooms and nice eating/lobby area! Cook and breakfast host are full of personality! The location is great as well.

This hotel is absolutely amazing! If there is anything negative about the place, is the shuttle service. It requires a 48 hour heads up. Besides that, I have no complaints.....

Great hotel to stay at on our way to Florida. Good breakfast, made to order eggs and good variety of side dishes.

Great value and bed were amazing. Was not expecting to pay so little for such a fancy and nice hotel. They had relaxing music all day and night. Like very softly helped to relax. Not in rooms just in the community area. Very nice staff. Very Clean. Will be back.

This hotel truly deserves 5 stars for everything! The hotel is beautiful. The staff are friendly and efficient. The breakfast is filled with delicious choices, and the kitchen staff is excellent. Your eating experience is peaceful and unrushed since there is beautiful music and plenty of seating. Our rooms were immaculate and included special touches. This is a hotel we would love to stay in again!

This hotel is very nice. The bed was very comfortable, the room super clean, the staff was great. The made to order hot breakfast was a wonderful treat and the cook was one of the nicest men we have encountered on this trip. Thanks for a great stay.

A very quiet hotel. I’ve stayed here twice when it was filled to capacity & you would never know there were other people here. The complimentary breakfasts are delicious. Suites are very nice. Building showing some age but overall still nice. Staff was very helpful. My only concern is the bathtub/shower has no grab rails & could make it dangerous for a senior traveling on their own.

Stayed at the Quality Suites while getting together with friends in Lansing. The overall experience was excellent. I received a warm reception, my suite felt fresh and was well maintained and the complimentary breakfast was fresh cooked and excellent. I already know where I will stay the next time I visit Lansing. Highly recommended.

Given the very reasonable price I paid, I was very impressed. The hotel is clean. The service is excellent. I was able to make a last-minute reservation during a difficult time. Much of the Okemos area had no electricity due to a nearby tornado. I couldn't reach the hotel that I had booked and managed to get this. The woman at the desk had to deal with rebooting the computer system and still managed to book me. I had a lovely room wirh a large bed and a sitting room. A TV was in both rooms. Best of all, breakfast at this place is a real breakfast with a jolly chef who serves up all kinds of food. Okay, no pool. A small shower, but this is close to the nature center and I really appreciated the cleanliness.

Im a delivery driver who drove from TN str8 to Michigan, 10.5 hrs i was so tired and cold cuz the heat went out in my work van. My boss misscheduled my room thru a third party & it was canceled because i didn't not arrive by a certain time. The front desk lady was quick to offer solutions to get me a room. She was so patient as i went back n forth with calling my boss and credit card company. She was very polite and empathetic to my situation. I wish i could remember her name but i was so tired. The hotel is lucky to have her as a employee. I hope she gets a raise. The room was nice. The bathroom was small but that was fine with me.The room was crisp and clean and the bed was comfy. They offer breakfast with a cook to cook it for you. I haven't seen a quality inn this beautiful ever and due to my Job i travel a lot. Definitely recommend.
