Floor in room wasn’t the best but the bed was not dirty and looked clean under the sheets and the shower didn’t seem bad. I had a man named Josh at the front help me with my late call in to get a room, I had an issue with the Red Roof Inn down the road , with absolutely dirty rooms and not changed sheets and dirty towels, and needed immediate rooming and he was so nice and helped me with all my issues , absolutely went above and beyond and I never expected that from a motel like this. This man deserves a raise. He definitely makes your hotel way better

Overall, this is the best hotel that we've stayed at. They don't offer breakfast, but that's the only drawback.

I have found this motel to be of better quality than nearby ones which are 10-25% more expensive. It's one floor which is great because you don't have a bunch of loud footsteps above your head while trying to sleep. They do have weekly rates so it's a good place if your moving here and don't have a place to live yet. AC/Heater works incredibly well. Bed and bedding are very comfy. Hot water works great. Walls and cieling are nearly new paint and popcorn. There are no bugs other than what you let in. Fairly quiet and nice staff and guests. Hopefully Brendan, the manager, doesn't go anywhere. Oh and it's close to all basic needs. Close to Walmart, Horracks, Denny's and many restaurants. Only real negative is taking left turn onto main road certain times of day.

Besides the fact that the room was so clean; The staff were friendly, and the Manager Brendan Donahue literally is a Saint. I have stayed in alot of hotels over the years, and never been met with so much kindness and understanding. You could pick any overly priced 200 square feet space to sleep in for a night, but the level of personality, care and safety I felt staying there is why your local ownerships will always get my business over corporate boxes. Thank you Mr. Donahue for keeping a wonderful hotel and staff.

MR.B is a horrible GENERAL MANAGER. Called the company and emailed them multiple times. He's very unprofessional. I honestly think Jon should have his job. Mr. B be little you so bad is disgusting. I got kicked out because I was attacked. And he honestly never gave me a reasoning. The head up people I talked to are not happy because Ive spendt so much money there. GO TO RED ROOF NEXT DOOR SAVE YOURSELVES THE highschool drama that goes on there.
... Ps housekeepers LEARN how to CLEAN a room. A 8 year old could do WAY better.

Okay so I gave this place five stars because it is a five star place, for what it is. You get exactly what you pay for. The person at the front desk was super nice. It was quite, I stayed on a Friday. There's a pool but I didn't use it so I can't comment on it. The room was exactly what you should expect.

We stayed here for a week while our electric was out. I had heard some bad things about it being dirty and a lot of drug activity but our room was clean, I only had to ask for anything we needed in the room and we never witnessed any drug activity. It was quiet at night and the price was right.

Brendan, the Manager is one of the kindest people I’ve met. I’ve rented rooms on a few different occasions, and even met some of the other staff as well. I enjoyed my experiences there very much and it is my “go to” spot when I am in the area. They are very accommodating and kind, and their prices are Great!

Traveled with my MinPin pup, had no problems checking in or otherwise. no carpeting in the rooms--loved it (allergies) but the under the bed could have used a mop. Pup cleaned it for you by going under the bed! Frighted & microwave were very handy. Enjoyed our stay!

I work about 70 miles from home, and often stay over rather than drive home. My usual hotel rate was not available due to demand at my regular spot, so I looked for a less expensive option. The Travelodge came up, but the reviews were savage. I booked it anyway via the Wyndham Rewards app. Arriving, the property is laid out in four buildings where you pull up to the door of your room to park, like the old-school motor courts. There’s a pool between the first two buildings, but it’s obviously closed as it’s February in Michigan. The parking lot and driveways are pretty rough, so slow down. My room was an end unit in the back of the first building, billed as accessible. This is interesting, as there is a very small step up from the parking lot to the room.

I was pleasantly surprised by the room after reading the reviews. The room is large, with a table and a comfortable chair. The dresser has a small shelf unit on one end and a kneehole on the other to make it another work surface. The usual flat screen TV w/remote, plenty of lights around the room, hangers under a small shelf affixed to the wall. I have a 5’ charger cord, so the outlet in the corner of the room was fine, I could put my phone on the bedside table. WiFi was free and strong! I had no troubles staying connected. The bed was firm, but not hard, and I slept well. The bedding kept me warm and cozy and both pillows were sufficient to my sleeping needs. I would caution light-sensitive sleepers that an eyemask might be helpful, since the parking lot is well-lit and light comes in around the curtains. I just faced the wall and problem solved. There is no fridge, and no microwave.

The bathroom is very small, like tub/shower/toilet and that is it, small. I’m big, so it took a little maneuvering, but it was not that difficult. There is no way a wheelchair fits in there, if that’s what you’re looking to do. There was plenty of hot water in the shower and I found the water pressure to be adequate. The towels could be a little nicer, but they were clean and did the job. They do not have any toiletries other than small bars of soap still bearing the Motel 6 logo. Wyndham apparently bought them out recently. I keep a go-bag in my car, so I had my own things, but if you don’t, there’s a drugstore nearby. The vanity counter and sink is brightly lit.

Yes, the décor is dated. This property has seen some years and that’s obvious, too. That said, it is clean, comfortable, safe, and exactly what I need at a terrific price. My check in experience was friendly and personable and there is always fresh coffee in the lobby. The room was quiet, none of the noisy people that other reviews claim to have encountered. It snowed quite a bit overnight and I liked that someone came by early with a snowblower and cleared the walks. They also cleared a path next to my car, which I appreciated! If you’re looking for a higher end stay with all the usual amenities, this may not be your place. If you need a great spot to lay your head for a night or two, at a very inexpensive price, this is your place. Sometimes I think reviewers have ridiculous expectations for $50 a night.

For the price you can't beat it it could definitely use some updating done and there's plenty of cigarette Burns in the covers but other than that it's pretty decent and you can have your dog
