Great experience! I called Hockey Services and talked to Luke. I explained to him that I’m turning 40 years old this year and would like to get back into ice hockey for the first time in 20 years. He told me to come in and assured me he would take care of me. When I showed up I was greeted at the door. Luke listened to everything I had to say, and answered ALL of my questions. I told him what was important to me, and what my budget was. He helped me try on every piece of equipment that I needed, and I needed EVERYTHING. We had to order a few things because I’m a XL guy (6’4” 260) but it all showed up 2-3 days later. Hockey services, and Luke gave me the confidence that I needed to get back on the ice. I played drop in hockey 3 times this week for the first time in 20 years and I’m so impressed with the way everything fit and performed. Thank you!

Great selection of hockey skates which the staff does a great job of fitting. All kinds of other gear as well including in the warehouse building next door.

Brought a broken pair of mission roller blades to them and asked if they could mount the chassis and wheels on a pair of my old hockey skates, they said give us a week and we'll see what we can do...they called me the next day and said it was easier than they thought. Couldn't be happier with how they turned out, hockey skates with wheels on them! The shop has a good selection of hockey gear. Super nice staff. Awesome hockey shop

Great experience buying new skates with these guys! Mike brought out numerous skates in various brands/sizes until I found a pair that i liked.

When I played youth hockey from 1994 to 2003 Chris kooi used to run the show. Hook me up with my Goalie gear back then well it's 2022 and I'm just now getting back in after my doctor cleared me. The employees here are top notch great customer service respectful they worked with me to explain the new technology in the advancements since I played. They didn't treat me differently because I was not as knowledgeable as I used to be. Every employee so far explains things well and works with me especially with the budget finding the right gear for what I need. Very thankful that they're still in business and doing well for themselves.

Hockey Services had an apparel booth set up for the 2022 Peewee AA State Finals in Kalamazoo and him and his crew did a fantastic job in getting the apparel together for the event. There was an issue with a custom sweatshirt after the state championship game and instead of having us wait to get this figured out Matt stated give me your contact info and I’ll make it right and send the sweatshirt direct to you. In no time at all I received what was promised and I appreciate the way Matt handled this, that’s great customer service. Thanks Matt!

My experience was awesome in hockey services! Its a hockey players toy store! With their selection of top model sticks, protective, skates, gloves, goalie pads, and apparel there is no need to go anywhere else. The staff are all very knowledgeable in all aspects of hockey, for instance being sized into the perfect fitting skates, and even being told what stick would fit you best! Their staff also are the best sharpeners in town, I would not trust anyone else with my skates, other then the staff at Hockey Services. Hockey Services was overall a great facility and I would not take my money anywhere else!

I rarely write reviews, but after reading one of the poor reviews from an unhappy customer on here, I was quite shocked by it and didn't think it be right if I didn't share my experience, which couldn't have been further from the opposite of the negative reviewer's experience. If they treat everyone else the way I was treated, I can't imagine anyone leaving unhappy.

I have been out of hockey for about 10 years and needed some new equipment after joining a men's league recently. Back when I was playing more often, Hockey Services is always where I went to get my gear, so that was the first place I stopped took look for new gear.

Despite being pretty busy in there with other customers, the guys working somehow found the time to spend about 2 hours with me reeducating me on all the new gear, and helping me pick out what suited me best. Twice, I was ready to buy a specific piece of equipment and was talked out of buying what I had decided on for something that was less expensive. I appreciated them being honest rather than trying to take advantage of my ignorance from having been out of hockey for so long and trying to get me to buy the most expensive things to make as much money off me as possible.

Matt (one of the owners, I think) was particularly helpful and knowledgable and seemed happy to answer all my many questions. He spent the most time with me. I also saw and overheard him doing the same for another customer who had never played hockey in his life and was getting his first set of gear.

Best part yet, I spent about $450 less than what I expected to pay when I walked in there. Nowadays, I buy almost everything online because it's always cheaper. Not this time ... I actually spent quite a bit less than what I found the same stuff for online.

Thanks guys ... I will definitely be back next time.

I work with hockey equipment in a non-retail setting, and I can say without a doubt that you would be hard-pressed to find a more comprehensive experience than you'll get at Hockey Services. The staff is knowledgable and friendly, with years of experience. I spent about two hours there last week picking out a pair of skates - that I couldn't be happier with - and talking with Matt, who was more than happy to spend that time with me going through the product and getting the right fit and size. During that time I was able to watch and listen to some of the other staff working with customers who were receiving the same service that I was. These guys know their stuff and work with you until they get it right; they provide expert level services. Hockey Services is the closest the vast majority of customers will ever get to having an equipment manager working with them.

Mike is excellent at custom fitting figure skates. We found him 2 years. So worth coming down from Grand Rapids. Excellent sharpening, too.

I wanted to thank Patrick at hockey services for the time he took with me today. I am brand new to the game and went on line and picked some items out. I took in the list of the items and pricing from a competitor. He was very open to show me items like what i had picked out as well as other items he felt would be a benefit for my safety. After 2 hours of his time and understanding i bought a nice package he put together for me. I ended up spending a little more however my friend that went with me that knows the sport as well as some other friends saw what i bought said he did me right, I wanted to thank him once again for for the time he spent. I will refer all friends and will return for future purchases from them.

I have a goalie in the house and we have been able to get a lot of stuff here that we couldn't find elsewhere. Super helpful on the phone and in person. I'll definitely always check here when I need hockey supplies for the kiddos.

I can't say enough how awesome Hockey Services is... and, how much I look forward to ordering more team gear through them. Production is on-point, shipping is timely, and customer services is beyond exceptional.

staff is amazing!! They know what they are doing. Very knowledgable and great to work with!! If they don't have it, they get it for you. And make sure that it fits and feels right when you buy it! Won't go anywhere else for gear and supplies!

My son and I went in to check it out. He's 7 and shows interest in hockey. These guys were friendly, informative and straight forward about cost. I feel much better going in there and talking with people who know hockey after fumbling around online trying to use sizing charts. They also helped fit me for skates. I learned that I was doing it wrong. The boy comes first, but I can't wait to get back on the ice myself!!

I had to buy some hockey equipment for my boyfriend and I went to Hockey Services. The staff there was great and help me with the perfect gift. The customer service we great! I would suggest you to visit the store.
