Posting for spouse Brian Lloyd, the service provided by Cheri in Hastings was top notch! The eye doctor was very thorough and helpful. I was a former customer at another local eye doctor but RX Optical is my new go to and will be referring family and friends. Sunshine also showed top notch service! I’m a happy customer thank you to all.

Greeted as soon as we walked in, pictures taken of eyes, browsed frames then went in with the eye Dr. Great exam and followed up with Sunshine T after!! She was very informative about glare, lens, transitions, and very helpful with frames! She explained everything and helped me save a great deal of money!! Overall excellent experience

The exam was thorough and accurate. I liked the wide selection of frames; it was easy to find a pair that suited me. My insurance didn’t cover lens upgrades (high index plastic, progressive lens) and I felt like the price difference was reasonable; my out of pocket wasn’t terribly expensive. The people who work here are all friendly, knowledgeable, and skilled. It’s good we have such a nice eyeglass place here in town.

Most optical places won't touch your glasses if you didn't buy from them !!! But they will help you no matter where you bought them. Highly recommend them !

My husband and I both had appts. Had a great experience all around. The doctor explained changes in my eyes thoroughly and in a friendly manner. Sunshine was wonderful, taking the time to compare pricing and explaining everything we needed to know in a patient and friendly way.

Had a great experience here. The eye Dr was very thorough and explained everything. Also Tim who ran all the insurance stuff for four people in our family that day was awesome. We are double insured and he spent a lot of time patiently finding the best way to maximize our insurance benefits to save us the most money. We will definitely be back next year.

Went in today for a recheck. They are making some modifications to my lenses to improve my reading script. While I was there Sunshine made some adjustments to my frames and they now fit amazingly well! No sliding or anything! She was quick and knowledgeable and fixed me right up! Thank you for you excellent attention.

Thank goodness Stacia recommended I go to the Hastings office. She is wonderful. She saw how upset I was at my appointment in Plainwell. I went to the Hastings office after a bad experience with the doctor at the Plainwell office. Dr. V at the Hastings office was professional, listened to my concerns and did a more thorough exam to validate the need for a new prescription in my brand new progressive lenses. New lenses have been ordered and I am confident they will be what I need. Thank you Stacia! You are an asset to the Hastings office!

I recently switched from my regular eye doctor to this one. I usually try to steer clear of these types of establishments based on my prior experiences, but RX Optical is the exception. I was very impressed on how fast they were able to get my appointment scheduled. Upon arriving, I was given the new patient paperwork and before I could sit down, the doctor was calling me back for my exam. The doctor was professional and relatable - which I appreciate. After my exam, I ordered a years worth of contacts and left. The whole appointment took maybe 40 minutes.
After about two weeks I hadn't received my contacts, so I called and spoke with Nick. He gave me the tracking number and advised on the status that he was given. Nick knew that I was running low on my contacts so he made every effort to keep checking back on the progress of the shipment. The shipment did make it to my house in time and he continued to follow up. Nick is a great asset to this company and a good person overall.
I highly recommend this business!
