I bought my Dress I wore to my Daughter's wedding here! It's not the Hot Topic of the past, too "commercially".. but I still walk in..

Store is orderly & clean, and staff usually very attentive and helpful. They always point out sales & savings, and have suggestions that help us pick out great items for gifts!

Hot Topic selection is really cool. Left school shopping with 2 happy teenagers. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly.

I come in maybe once or twice a month to browse around. Sometimes the staff talks, sometimes they don't. As someone who works in customer service, I get it. They're human and it's relatable. Whenever I have a question I need to ask, it's always answered to the best of their ability. Sometimes their tone can come off snarky and rude, but not everyone knows what they sound like when talking to other people. "Hot Topic" is for the HOT TOPIC(S) of today. So even though I don't find the nostalgia I'm looking for from 2012 or 2017, that's alright. I always find something neat and interesting from a fandom I'm up-to-date on. This place is a safe haven for a lot of people. It's a tight squeeze sometimes and with my trouble with closed spaces not being great, it can be a struggle. I see they've been reorganizing the store though and it looks wider and more clean. I'll always stop by whenever I get the chance. <3 Love to the staff here. <3

Super nice helpful staff. Lots of band tees to choose from. If you order from online and get the wrong size, you can return to the store and I like that. One of the only places you can find Gorillaz merchandise.

The gal on the phone today was super-helpful.
She got things straight with my shipping/pickup, talked me through it, and sounded like the just most pleasant person thrift the entire thing.😌💕
I've had some lazy store clerks at malls, but this phone was a nice patch on a kinda gloomy autumn day.

I like the Lansing Mall Hot Topic a lot more than the Meridian Mall. Their staff are always so nice. And the store looks clean and organized, I don't have to push my way through clothes to get to the other side of the store. Will always prefer this store. 10/10.

Would rate their prices a little heavy though but that's why google has the '$$' by the name. The price range can differ if you sign up with them to get coupons and Hot Cash though.

Always cool coming here and the service is..let's just say I haven't had any issues and the people are more than happy to help;

especially if it's for a special occasion they will help match / pair gifts together for that special someone like they helped me pick some gifts for my wife.

It's a little stuffy aka cramped but they do have a lot of awesome things so I forgive them haha.

I feel so welcome and comfortable every time I come to the store. The staff is amazing oh, and they do their best to use correct pronouns with me and which I especially like.

The staff were very kind. The store had a very welcoming environment. Although prices are a little higher, you are paying for very good quality items.

Very informative staff, can help you find perfect outfit of your dreams. The manager has awesome hair btw! Actually all the employees do.

I always enjoy going in here. The workers are amazing and it's always fun bonding with them over shows and bands to pass the time.

I shop here mainly for licensed band merchandise and they have a pretty decent selection. Prices aren't bad either.
