Friendly Coffee Lounge

I loved the atmosphere of this place. It has a bar right next door to the coffee shop. Lacy made our coffees and it is reasonably priced. It was 12 dollars for 3 medium sized coffees which is not bad at all. They have live music in the coffee shop and bar which is really nice. Overall, this is my new favorite coffee shop.

Came over here for a bit before meeting with friends elsewhere. There's free parking on the side streets all around so it's pretty easy to get here. There's two entrances: one for the bar and one for the coffee lounge which are connected by a door farther in. The bartender who took care of me was a nice lady who made me feel really welcomed, asking a few questions about my day and plans. I asked for a cocktail (old fashioned) which she made really well. Since it wasn't too busy she made some extra for me ❤ also there was a customer who was about to run out when she called her to pay her tab and get her credit card. There seems to be musicians that play and events happening regularly throughout the week. The vibe in both areas is great to hang with friends or do work. If I'm in the area, I will definitely swing by for a drink and a show!

Rob the barista was friendly, personable, and made a delicious sugar free latte for me. Love the chill atmosphere and reasonable price for a great drink. Thank you for the morning perk me up!

This is overall a great coffee place I had hot chocolate here, I really wished that they would’ve told me that the hot chocolate was made with dark chocolate but I was pleasantly surprised that it tasted great! They always let me taste it before so it’s to my liking and if it’s not they will accommodate! Great customer service too!! The coffee is bitter (to me, i’m accustomed to dunkin donuts and starbucks) so I always add syrups and still ridiculously cheap!!

Cool place to sit for awhile and get work done. Coffee was good and cheap!! The baristas were very kind and there was live music later on in the evening. I’ll be back!

I love my experience here! It is a unique coffee shop that doubles as a bar. Staff was friendly and hospitable. I really enjoyed my iced coffee. I will definitely come back next time I’m in Berwyn. I also want to stop in for a drink next time at the bar!

Catching up in a comfy and cozy atmosphere...I went to the friendly coffee lounge to meet a friend and we had a lovely time. They have coffee, tea, snacks, pastries, and many other things to tickle your fancy.. it was an unexpected gem... I would definitely go back..

Great place to work/study! Worked for about 3 hours in the coffeeshop and loved the music the whole time. The staff was friendly and gave a great recommendation with the sunburst orange iced tea.

I usually go to places like Starbucks for a place to sit and read or journal, or get some light laptop work done. I am so glad I found this place! I am impressed on how good the sip coffee tastes, and that's coming from someone who usually despises coffee. At Starbucks, I usually have to add tons of sugar to cope with it. Here the coffee only needed a bit of cream and sugar.

If you don't like coffee, then there are plenty of other drink options. And the scenario is cool inside! They have wide open windows, couches, many tables, and of course the adjoining bar (which is what this place becomes in the later hours). They have WiFi for you to use and are friendly. Seating can be at a table, on a couch, outside, or at a high table with stools to sit on. There are board games and books available for you if you're looking for something to do. I highly recommend this space!!

For a spot to sit and read, journal, or do some light laptop work, I frequently travel to locations like Starbucks. I'm so happy I came across this place! Considering I normally dislike coffee, I am surprised at how nice the sip coffee tastes. I typically have to add a ton of sugar at Starbucks to get by. Here, a little cream and sugar were all that the coffee needed.

absolutely amazing cute place! my cappuccino was perfect and my friends smoothie was amazing!! they didnt have the specific smoothie on hand so they went to the basement to get everything and make it fresh! great service!

First time here this past weekend and living right down the street I’ve never heard of this place! The lady working the coffee station was very friendly, talkative, and even gave us a small tour of the bar next door. I got a hot caramel flavored latte and 2 hazelnut flavored drip. All size medium, all were amazing with very reasonable prices. I will definitely stop by again

I became a regular as the pandemic wound down. A great place to enjoy smooth coffee, music, and neighbors.

Great local place to get coffee or drinks, see live music, and hang out with friends. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. Will be back!

Funky coffee shop/bar/music school. A real hidden gem. Good drinks and friendly service. Has a real homey dive feel.
