They have toddlers area, children's area, teens area, and area for adults. Computers, a printer, and a scanner for public use. There are also other resources posted at the front of the library.

Everyone was very friendly. They did not have many Anne Rice books as I would have liked. But still a clean quiet environment. Free coffee too 😉

Very pleasant. I was able to hop on the internet without any hassle. The staff are friendly and helpful. Great place to study or just unwind. Quiet and comfortable atmosphere. I recommend this library. It's worth visiting and is right by the #66 bus line.

Great service.
Clean and organized physical plant.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND this branch, and especially MaryAnn(sp?) at the circulation desk.
She patiently helped me address, and ultimately resolve my issues.
She most definitely went "the extra mile" for me.

I have to say that I concur with April and Maronda's reviews shared. However, it is mostly during the evening hours when you have select patrons that play around or speak loudly while others are trying to work or study. Me personally in order to drown the outer noises out I just wear headphones playing music that keeps me tuned into my work. The library does have the presence of security, which they do enforce some of the play of select certain patrons, but it still continues slightly after a warning depending on their age group.

Other than that, I have to admit that this is a beautiful library considering it being located in the East Garfield Park & Humboldt Park neighborhood. I'm happy that they have it because it gives me another spot to do work and utilize WiFi without leaving the neighborhood. I'm sure others may see it the same, so I seriously cannot knock this location because it does offer to the neighborhood.

As I share this review I am now on my second visit and I have just noticed the DVD selections, plus a few books. The DVD selections are slim, but at least they do have something to begin with. I will dig more into the book selections as the time goes on, but they do have a decent sized amount from what I see. My first book choice was a book by one of my favorite authors, Zora Neale Hurston, who actually inspired me to write more. I was excited to see quite a few books by a poet named Langston Hughes as well.

My first ever transaction with this library went smooth, plus the updating of my address and email. During this transaction the library clerk was very informative of my return dates and also the process of transferring interests that I may see from other libraries to this library. With all being mentioned I hope this review assists you in any way.
