Easy hiking trail with option of gravel trail or wooded trail that also has mountain biking features of wooden ramps. Beautiful scenery in the summer & fall (these pics are early March) with a creek running through. Easy to find with parking at both ends of the trail. I do not know the total distance. We did a 4.5 mile loop taking gravel trail to start & wooded on way back.

Awesome linear park. There's a gravel trail for bikes and walkers and a great singletrack for bikers and hikers.

A nice dirt trail that goes for 14 miles through Cedar Rapids. You can start at the frog off of east post road. You can start in the middle at bertram road or you can start at cole street. I like to use the trail for long runs and startbat bertram so that i can refuel as i come back around to the cat after going 7 miles either to cole street or the frog.

South side single track is very mild, little to no elevation change. On the north end by cottage grove, thats a more advanced single track that longs along the river embankment. Very fun, and technically easy with some features.

You can choose here to either hit the windy, rather-narrow, dirt paths... Or! The much, much wider (it's about 10-12ft wide, I'd say - the entire path) and a little less "messy" (it's gravel that was just poured in the beginning of Summer 2022; it's very, very, nicely well-kept by the Indian Creek Nature Field Techs...

Nice limestone trail with decent grooming. Watch out for bigger stones. It’ll give your ankle or your tire some grief.

Pretty good trail to ride mountain bikes. You either have to have a mt bike or fat tire bike to ride this trail though. Alot of places is loose sand/gravel. There is no paved lanes. Seems to be pretty well up keep and I even saw a few more off road trails for the more adventurous. The scenery is beautiful throughout the entire trail. My only small small complaint was the loose gravel/sand and the pitted out trails. But im guessing ALOT of that has to do with the enormous storm we had last year. It's amazing they got it all cleaned up within a year and the trail is serviceable again. Ride it, you WILL enjoy it.

The Sac & Fox trail has always been a beautiful trail that I’ve grown up hiking, biking, and fishing near. Even with last year’s derecho wrecking havoc in Cedar Rapids, there is still lots of very well shaded areas. And on this trip I was able to see some creek details you wouldn’t have been able to see from the trail.

Easy walking or biking. With several offshoot trails for a little more of a challenge. Many species of birds and vegetation. Great views of Indian Creek and Cedar River.

Very nice crush stone trail. Wide enough for two way traffic.
