Micasa Sub Shop

I've now been to 5 restaurants in Red Bud + Ruma. This one is my favorite. Super thick, tasty sandwiches for a great price. Friendly staff. Quick service. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town.

***Pro-tip, if you're going to the airport, stop by Micasa beforehand instead of buying expensive, less-tasty options there.

They have AMAZING sandwiches and their bread is the best! They are locally owned and very friendly. We eat there at least a few times a month. They accept orders over the phone which is super convenient if you are on the go because they will have it ready when you get there. They put a ton of meat on their sandwiches too! Our favorites are the monster (get dressing on the side if you don’t eat there or it will Be soggy) club, or a build your own with ham and cheese toasted with honey mustard, lettuce and pickles! A must have if you’re in the area and love subs.

Micasa Sub Shop...I apologize for the photos they do not do justice to this sammich shop. Pictured is what they call the Daddy. Roast beef, swiss, siracha mayo, lettuce, tomato and of course horseradish. As a former sub shop owner I was quite surprised at the quality of Micasa's bread and meats. Bread baked daily, meats cut daily it was fantastic. Located in Red Bud IL it's worth a drive to check this locally owned business out and support them.

Great sandwich! Bread made there is so fresh. Cost is very fair too. Got the monster sub and was delicious. After a 4 mile hike it was perfect.

Love me some MiCasa!!!! I've never had anything I didn't like, from there. The Monster is amazing, the Beast is a meat lover's paradise, & their salads... oh, just wonderful! I always look forward to going again!!! You can't go wrong with this place! Nina... you've done amazing, keep it up! :)

Yet another wonderful sandwich shop located in the Midwest. They have a fantastic bread that’s made in house. The quality of ingredients is exceptional and the service is very friendly and helpful, especially for first time visitors. Their dine in area is decent in size and pick up window keeps things less crowded. I found their portion size to cost ratio to be very fair. Even with extra meat! Definitely recommended, most definitely worth the try! Enjoy!

Genuinely the best subs I've ever had in my life. The Beast is INCREDIBLE. It's huge, it's delicious, and it's worth every penny.

When you think of great sub sandwiches you likely don’t think of Red Bud, Illinois. This sub shop, and the sandwich I got, came highly recommended by a trusted food friend. The atmosphere lends to an enjoyable experience despite not being able to dine in due to the pandemic. But, the weather was nice and the picnic tables across the street added to the overall experience. The staff was friendly, the house made bread was tasty and the roast beef was piled high....what more could you ask for? I’d definitely recommend giving them a try if you find yourself in Red Bud!

I've been here twice. The sandwiches are awesome! Bread is perfect with fresh meat and toppings! Great food! Prices are good for what you get. Order ahead if you're in a hurry, they seem to have a problem expediting orders when busy. Both times it took us 25 minutes or more to get our lunch when ordered in store. But could have just been a bad day so not judging by that. Food is excellent . Staff is friendly, price is reasonable for what you get. But order ahead or plan for a long wait time at lunch.

Great service and awesome subs. We ordered The Monster Sub and it sure lived up to the name. Great value for the price and you can't beat their in-house baked bread. Hope to visit them again soon!

I usually get the daddy, which is a roast beef sandwich. Omg , the bread , meat, cheese, and vegetables are very fresh and high quality. The ladies that work here are very polite and friendly. Restaurant always kept clean. Would highly recommend to anyone either driving through town or new.

Anytime I am anywhere near RedBud Illinois I must stop and get lunch here. I sometimes even make up silly reasons just to go in their direction. The best samich place in the tri county area hands down.

So good and so fresh. I had a roast beef sub and a caesar salad- would order both again. The roast beef was so tender and with the mustard brew sauce…it was a delightful combo. Very nice staff and very clean dining room!

Love this place. Our go-to for dining out. Fast and friendly service. Sandwiches are delicious and a great value for the quantity and quality.

These are the best sandwiches around. Great bread and good ingredients. Never leave hungry.
