My car started to slow down with sound in the motor right infront of the Good year store.
I went to the shop, they were extremely helpful, welcoming and worked as fast as they could to fix my car.
They fixed my car right away while I was waiting in the lobby,I am very thankful to find this place.
Finally someone knows how to diagnose a car problem without making a big deal, and they will try to work out things the way that fits your budget.
My car runs as it should be.
I would definitely recommend them to a friend.
they are even pet friendly, my dog was having so much fun there.

This location has been treating us great for about 10 years. Super friendly staff. Good pricing for a repair/tire shop. I've been lied to by many shops in town, but this location has always been upfront with us.

Had my ac refilled and my radiator replaced. Everything worked great, but the clamps on the radiator hose loosened up about 6 months later and they were able to get the vehicle right in and tightened everything up at no charge. Great guys, would always reccomend!

My low pressure light popped on today, of course when it's 7° and 12 hours away from a blizzard. I went here and they were able to look at my car immediately. I was able to wait inside the warm lobby while they put air in my tires lickety-split, and for free too! The whole thing took about 5 minutes and I was able to get on my way to work. P.S. I also get my oil changed here and it's always fast and affordable :)

This place really saved my day. I got a flat late on a Sunday night on a 2000 mile journey and after calling around different tire shops on Monday morning, and everyone telling me we can't get your tire, i finally called Lane at Mt Vernon Road tire repair and he said he would have me one in a couple of hours. I showed up at there place and the treated me so well. The customer service in this place is the best I have encountered and I come from the same industry. I would recommend this place to anyone. I was heading back home and my car had a shield that came off underneath my car. They fixed it in no time. I didn’t have an appointment and they took really good care of me. Highly recommend!

Had a check engine light flashing and went to them. They tried to fix the problem, but were unable to fix it and referred me to engine shop. Mt Vernon Road didn't charge me anything. They are good people.

Since I moved to Cedar Rapids I have used Mount Vernon Road Tire as my car repair place. The personnel at this store is knowledgeable and most importantly trustworthy. No hidden charges or fees. I leave feelings that my car was properly taken care of.

Just left my tire to patch. One guy even checked the tire if it was put right for safety. when I called other places they were either charging extra and giving me at least a day and a half to fix it. So I drove to across the town bcoz I knew I won't be disappointed there. Thank you for being there

I just had a great experience at this tire store! Staff were very professional and all of them were wearing masks. The waiting area was roomy and not overcrowded like some of the walk-in tire places in Cedar Rapids. They completed my repair promptly and the price was reasonable. I decided to give Goodyear a try after going to a different walk-in tire shop on the west side where NONE of the staff wore a mask and the tiny waiting room was stuffed with unmasked customers! As if were not in the middle of a pandemic! I'll be returning to Goodyear for my future tire needs.

Quick story about my second time here -- came in on a Saturday morning for my brakes and was told they're completely booked for appointments but if I'm able to leave my car they'll fit it in whenever they have time. Sure, works for me, totally understandable. Only took about 15 minutes for them to look at my car, bring me in to show me what needed to be done, and gave me a quote that was honestly lower than I had expected. I asked if it would be too much trouble to do an oil change while it was getting taken care of and they said that would be just fine. Couple hours afterwards they call me to update me that it's done, I ask for the final price and breakdown and it comes up that the oil change wasn't part of the cost. I mentioned that I had talked with the man that brought me in to look at the brakes about getting it done but no big deal, I'd have to come back to get the wheels torqued soon anyway. Come to pick my car up and find a note on the front of the receipt saying they took care of the oil change, and didn't charge me for it.

TL;DR: Good luck finding a more honest and quality shop to work with. They don't try to hide costs or what it is they're fixing, they've done a great job on both of the repairs I've come in for, and this was all in just the spare time they had for a busy Saturday. If you need a service done I would highly recommend seeing if they can help you first and foremost.

I was on a road trip, experiencing car troubles. As a woman alone and in an unknown town, I was worried that I was going to get ripped off if I went in not knowing anyone and desperate for a quick fix to get back on the road. But these people were SO helpful and honest! They worked me in same-day with no appointment and didn't try to upsell me on anything I didn't need. I trust these people and I highly recommend them!!

Steve is fair, honest and always does great work. I have referred a lot of friends and family their way for a reason- they do things right. If you go for an oil change or new tires they also inspect your vehicle, and tell you what needs to be done with zero pressure. They always say “if you have someone that does that work let them know what we said, or you can schedule with us”. The entire staff is professional and kind. Go here if you want honest vehicle work at a fair price.

Absolutely amazing crew! Found me a great deal had me in and out in under 20 minutes. Even went out of their way to fix my exhaust just to get me home out of state. We'll recommend this place to anyone here in cedar rapids and out of town folks! Big thank you guys!

I've been a customer of this Goodyear for years and they've always taken great care of me. They price things very fair and and they always do good work. I go here for all my car needs and I cannot reccomend this place enough they've done so much for me. I am a life long customer!

Brought in several used vehicles for vehicle inspections for my daughter's new car. Didn't charge me for the first two. Only charge me for the 3rd which was a good vehicle.

These guys are the bomb! Steve, Ashley, April, Jeff and their entire staff make you feel welcome and really take care of you. Prices are fair, and the main thing is I have never had to take vehicle back because they missed something or the repair wasn't right. I highly recommend them!

I have been a car guy all my life but if I need tires I go here. And various other stuff, including major mechanical repair if I am too busy (lazy) to undertake the repair at home. They also do oil changes. Their shop staff are really good and the management and customer service are tops. I have gone in with and without appointments but they are good so they are busy. I can always get in when I need to. When they quote something to me I can always figure in my head that they are giving me an honest quote. Sometimes it hurts on a labor intensive job but it always feels like they are doing their honest best. I highly recommend this place for any automotive repair you need.
