Beth Calloway and her team at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home are awesome. They helped our family celebrate our mom’s life in a meaningful and celebratory way. We had some specific requests that they were able to accommodate. They made the entire experience from start to finish seem effortless. When more people than expected started arriving they made sure all were welcome, had a seat, and plenty of food to eat. I highly recommend them. From flowers, to food, to helping plan the service they are top notch!

Beth and the Alabama Heritage Team were incredible during such a difficult time. They were respectful, compasionate and very caring. It is a very uncertain time and they exceeded my expectations. Thank you for treating my Poppy and us lime we were family.

The service I received for Alabama Heritage was great. Beth Calloway and Ken were extremely nice. They walked me slowly through the sad journey making the arrangements. . I appreciate all how they handled the day. Beth was very sweet and went above and beyond the day of the sad service to make things so smoothly. She was right there and always asking do I need anything. I appreciate her extra effort she put in. Ken was also great. I thank them both.

My mom recently passed away and we used Alabama Heritage for her funeral. Everyone that we dealt with was professional, knowledgeable, and caring. My mom was 100 years old and had been ill. They were able to make her look beautiful and peaceful. Their services were excellent. I would highly recommend them to

My family’s experience with Alabama Heritage Funeral Home was a pleasant one. Upon arrival, my daughter and I were greeted immediately by the delightful; Heather Jones-Butler. We expressed our reason for coming; in hopes of finding adequate accommodations for my son. Heather; showed not only empathy but great sympathy for our loss. She gave us important information we needed to determine: plot location, types of vaults used, headstones, and the cost in total. We highly recommend this cemetery above all others. It’s beautiful, tranquil, and surrounded by large pecan trees. At first, I’d pictured this ordeal being stressful; but I was confident in knowing that my son’s final (yet temporary) resting place is in good hands with Alabama Heritage and will always be taken care of. We appreciate everything!

I have used Alabama Heritage for 3 family funerals since they opened and have pre-needed my own arrangements. We have always been happy with the services received and especially appreciate funeral director Beth Calloway who strives to create a personalized service for your loved one. I was initially disappointed and upset to learn at the last minute that the chapel has been renovated with round tables instead of pews and looked like a banquet hall. However I decided my mom would have loved it because she was such a social person and this layout was more casual and encouraged more social interaction during the visitation hour before the funeral. If she had been attending a service in this format she would have been visiting with people at every table. It would have brought her joy to see a bunch of her old coworkers sitting together reminiscing about stories of my mom at work. She would have loved to see her friends from different parts of her life getting to know each other. There is a new younger crowd working in funeral homes and they have some non-traditional ideas of how to personalize a service that didn’t really appeal to me, but I appreciate their efforts. Just realize the packages are priced based on how much personalization you want. I have seen the prices for funeral services go up so much since we first used them over a decade ago, I highly recommend pre-needing at today’s.prices.

My parents passed within 9 months of each other, and I came to Alabama Heritage for help in both cases. The team there was incredibly responsive, flexible and compassionate. I have nothing but the highest recommendation for Beth Calloway and Channie Kahan, who were both there for me throughout difficult times for me and my family. With both my parent's funerals, the details were closely managed, and I was able to be fully present in the actual services and mourn "in the moment". They worked seamlessly to coordinate with my parents' church both times. From a business standpoint, I felt fairly treated and they put together programs consistent with my parent's wishes. In addition, the premises are well-appointed inside, and the grounds very well maintained outside. I recommend Alabama Heritage without hesitation.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience working with Rick Trigilio on details of our cremation. He was very caring and helpful. We suggested they create a card for our wallets “Who to contact in case of death.” Rick introduced us to manager Beth Calloway and shared our suggestion. We received our packets today and were pleased to see a card had been created for us! Bottom line is— they care and they listen!

Casey and the rest of the staff at Alabama Heritage did an excellent job with my mother’s visitation and service. They made everything as easy as possible during a difficult time. They even made my favorite cookies with my mother’s recipe to serve during visitation. They also provided similar excellence during my dad’s funeral almost 15 years earlier. I highly recommend them.

This funeral home has done 3 of my family members' funerals in the last 10 years. I'm not sure who helped us 10 years ago when my uncle passed away, but they did a great job.

Then last September when my grandfather passed away after a longtime illness, Casey was the funeral director who provided my family with care. She was so loving and comforted anyone she could. At that time, we were both pregnant, due about a month apart. I didn't deal with the planning process in these funerals, but in January when my infant son passed away, I knew immediately which funeral home to go to for services. They went above and beyond to make sure my little boy was taken care of and gave us the opportunity to get many momentos. Even though we did not use their facilities for a visitation or funeral, we still got the same level of service that my grandmother received when she planned my uncle's and grandfather's funerals.

We were one of the first clients of Casey after she came back from maternity leave and she was so compassionate and caring checking to see if there was anything else she could help us with and making sure my husband, daughter and myself were doing as best as we could given the situation. They will always be our go to funeral home for our family in the future for the love and support we got from the entire staff at Alabama Heritage. Thank you, Casey & Paul, for all that y'all have done and continue to do. I would recommend them to anyone. (Sorry for the novel!)

The staff at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home were very kind and helpful. I would like to personally thank Paul Booker for being such an outstanding, professional, and kind person during our time of burying my father. Paul always made himself available, always answered our questions, kept in contact with us, and even did conference calls with myself and my sister. He was always patient with us. Thank you Paul.
