Bubba's Gourmet Burghers & Beer at the Highlands

1st time eating there and was not disappointed!
We ordered 2 appetizers, the mozzarella sticks with marinara and the everything pretzel bites with the garlic herb cream cheese. The 4 mozzarella sticks were huge and the marinara sauce is the best I've ever had! The pretzel bites with the cream cheese were delicious.
We ordered the Steakhouse Burgher and the Bacon Cheese lovers burgher, both came with fries ( you can upgrade your side and can also make your burgher a chicken sandwich or a wrap ) The burghers were phenomenal. 10 out of ten would recommend.
We washed our meals down with a coke and a 22oz mich ultra draft and the bill was only 60.00
Definitely will be returning for more of this amazing, mouth watering food!

We stopped while traveling. Not too busy for a Friday night. Nice atmosphere and ok for an 11 year old. Our food was good and service was friendly.

Forget about Burgatory!! It's too far! The burgers here were top notch and the fries salted just right. My critical husband's burger was done a little more than he asked, and he said he didn't even care. The burger was that good. He ate it all. Very friendly and courteous staff. We will be back again!

Great food. The lady that waited on us was super nice. The cheese sticks are really something.

There were no dessert options but I don't care. We came for burgers and were thrilled with the meal. Drinks were amazing and we will definitely be going back. On part with the Sharp Edge, back when they were around.

Gourmet burgers at a reasonable price. We ordered the deep fried pretzel from the appetizers and it was awesome! The pretzel was huge and 4 of us shared it. Our waiter was super nice. We would definitely go back again.

My service today was phenomenal. The waitresses were trying their hardest to get to everyone while everyone was rolling in. It took about ten minutes to get the food for my party of 5. Our refills came very quick and the pretzel appetizer pleased all of us.

Cool restaurant, that was clean, well staffed and excellent food. The portions are big so plan on leaving full! Try the extreme cheese burger...more cheese than you'll know what to do with (see the pic).

Well def be coming back next time were at the highlands! Food was amazing. Amongst us we got the giant pretzel, honeybbq wings, pattymelt, bacon burger, steak salad, sw potato fries and the hot honey chicken sandwich. Idk what tasted the best because it was allll great! Lol

Our first time here was awesome. We had grilled zucchini as an appetizer and they were delicious. My bison burger was perfection and the onion rings were huge! My husbands salad was good but on the small side. However, he said the chicken was awesome and he really liked the honey mustard dressing. We will be back!
*edit* we have been back several times and it just keeps getting better. Their kids menu is great and has something for even the pickiest of eaters.

One of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Bring your appetite. The Bubba Burger had more cheese than allowed by law. The giant pretzel makes other "large" pretzels run home to their mothers. Nice atmosphere. Better food. Don't pass up Bubba's.

The food was great! The Bubba burger is my favorite with all of that cheese. If you love cheese, go for it! They were short staffed, like every other restaurant out there, but did an excellent job at keeping up. Prices are more than fair. Try em out....you won't be disappointed

Had an early lunch at Bubba’s after an indoor baseball game next door. Excellent service, greeted with enthusiasm and was promptly seated. Drinks brought quickly and wait staff was awesome. Bubba burgher, chicken and mozzarella sticks were delicious. Highly recommend. Comfortable atmosphere that you don’t seem to get with the local chains. Great job, Bubba’s!

Fantastic!!! Great burgers and fries. Service was good and fast. Plenty of choices and well worth the $. Brand new area so everything is clean and inviting.

This place was delicious. So many different burgers to choose from. The Cajun burger had a great flavor. The Buffalo Chicken Dip was also yummy.

Everything was delicious. We had a BIG pretzel for an appetizer and it was very good and the beer cheese with it was amazing. I had a tipsy cow, It had a little cow in the drink and it was delicious. Burgers are huge amd french fries are plentiful. Would definitely recommend. Also Veteran owned and I love to support our Vets!

1st visit, had mozzarella sticks and onion rings, both were delicious, mozzarella sticks were the best we've ever had. Also got Bubba burgher and filet hoagie, both again delicious and served as ordered, medium and medium-well. The sweet potato fries were crunchy on the outside, hot and done on the inside. The sweet tea was very good too. We were there on Monday at lunch, it wasn't busy, waitress was very nice. Atmosphere is casual with multiple sports channels playing.
As for comparing them to 5 Guys Burgers, it's apples to oranges. Bubba uses steak cuts (NY strip, ribeye, sirloin, brisket)for their burghers and filet for their hoagies and 5 guys uses ground beef. The prices may be a dollar more here but you get what you pay for and Bubba's burghers are juicy, flavorful and thick.

Wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. We live in Central PA and once in awhile make a trip down to Cabellas’s. We found this place today and OMG… amazing. The soft pretzel appetizer is out of this world. The horsey sauce and honey mustard is soooo good. My fiancé got the meatball sub and I got the PBC burger. Absolutely no complaints. Our server was very attentive and super nice. Will definitely be returning!
