Absolutely gorgeous... The cabins are amazing and the entire park is breathtaking. The ladies, Dreama and Lisa are so personable and very helpful. The pontoon paddle boats are a must do to enjoy the lake. If you want peace and beauty....this is your place

Favorite place in Virginia to fish and as of last weekend camp too!! Everyone is super friendly and fishing is always great. Little shout out to Josh behind the counter. He was checking a guy in, answering all my fishing questions all while helping someone book a site over the phone. Pro!! Can't wait to head back that way for a fun relaxing quiet day!!

We have stayed at Cavitts Creek for over 15 years now. My kids love it up there. Peaceful, beautiful and the staff have become like family. It is a clean, gorgeous place!! My daughter even had her wedding there.

Great Disc Golf Course!

We were invited to a Family and Friends get together and WOW what a beautiful park. The scenery is amazingly beautiful, nice restrooms, pavilions, and cabins.

Great local park! Nice lake for fishing. Caught some nice bass and bluegill.

Very pretty park, we camped here and had a great spot! Plenty of room and trees in the camping area. The lake was pretty, fishing looked good, I didn't fish but I spotted a few large karp and bass. Walked around the whole lake and it was a nice walk but a lot the trail was pretty overgrown so I had itchy legs by the time I was done. If the trail was cleared for walkers or bikes it would be perfect :)

Most beautiful lake I've ever seen

Very nice place to camp and hike around. The scenery is very nice and although the kayaks weren't available when we went, they looked like a lot of fun. The campers bathroom was a little dirty but it's about average for any campgrounds bathhouse. The staff were very friendly and nice to talk to. The hiking trail around the lake is a little sketchy because it's so skinny but there were nice bridges to cross some small streams. The campgrounds themselves were a good size and they had a metal fire pit. The hill to the bathhouse is sort of steep but it's not bad if you only need to go there once or twice a day.

This is an awesome place. Of course you can fish off the bank but they offer boats if you venturous and it's a quiet place just to relax if your looking to just drown a few worms. They have really upgraded with the bait shop. It's really nice to visit.. however when we were there they only offered the green meal worms. I'm sure they offer more during peak season.

The park is clean and well maintained. Camping sites, cabins and RV camping is available. There are paddle boats to rent but no gas motors are allowed on the lake. There is also a boat dock for Kayaks and John Boats. There is a play area for kids with swings and equipment. Grills are available at the shelters. Swimming is not permitted. My husband and I like to walk the trail around the lake. We often see lots of wild life including white tail deer, beavers, an occasional snake, several different species of birds and once in a while, a bear. Update: Disc golf has been added.

Cavitt's Creek Park is a beautiful, quite place to visit. I took my granddaughter here to take her senior cheer pictures & they turned out fantastic! She had so many pictures from different areas of the Park for just the right pose. We had a wonderful time!!❤

Beautiful private campground, perfect sized playground for small kids and the bathrooms were top notch. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful park with breath taking views. They offer RV parking with full hookups, camp sites and cabins. Great fishing nice playground area for kids, shelters for party's, and three bathhouses with one offering laundry services. They also have boat rentals!
