Rebel SmokeHouse and Burgers

Great atmosphere and patronized faithfully by locals and visitors alike. My wife had the pulled pork and I had the 1/2 pound mushroom burger. Food is great and wait staff very engaged and friendly. Well worth getting off the beaten path!

Absolutely loved the food!!! It was Easter so the menu was limited but it was soooo goooddd!!! My boyfriend loved the beer selection! I can't wait to go back for the ribs!!! Such a great environment!!!!

First time going, and it was A+++. I am a bit funny with smoke houses, I don't judge them on their smoked meats and such. I judge on what other things they can do with the smoked meats. I had the hot Cajun Chicken Pasta, and it was literally one of THE BEST pasta dishes I have had in a long time! I ordered a half portion but could have definitely enjoyed the whole!

Both my waiter and bartender were the nicest, most polite guys! I wish I could have staff like them everywhere!

Will 💯 visit again!

Very good food, very personable as I seen the owner introduce himself to all the customers. You can tell this place means a lot to locals and I think that’s awesome ! The pulled pork sandwich was excellent but the fried green tomatoes was the best I’ve ever had. This was our first time coming to the smokehouse but I can guarantee we will be back a few times a month

One of our favorite places in WV. The food is amazing. The owner Jason is the best. He always makes it a point to come out and talk to everything. the taste of that AMAZING FOOD shows he takes pride in his craft.

Always a nice crowd and the entire town of Mullens, WV is great to the trail riders.

Excellent place! We saw the signs along the trail and decided to stop- so glad we did. Staff was super friendly and food was delicious- I had Loaded baby potatoes and fried green tomatoes- my husband had the Loaded pulled pork nachos- all of it was on point!!!

Have not actually been to the restaurant yet but been to an even they catered, wome of the best food I have ever eaten.

After spending two days in Asheville eating over priced, over rated food, I stopped in here for a meal that was well prepared, with great sauces, sides and service. Tender, smoky, juicy pork was made perfect with several choices of excellent bbq sauce. I loved the Carolina sauce most. Beans were well seasoned and as was the cole slaw. Loved the service, and price.

I placed an over the phone to go order because my husband and I have heard great things about this place. It exceeded my expectations. Awesome food and awesome staff. Their appetizers were delicious, meat was so tender and flavorful, and the staff was friendly! Will be coming back soon!!

Anytime we visit to the Hatfield & McCoy trail system , we make sure we stop here for lunch! The dine in service has always been excellent along with the food! We have been here about 10 times! We enjoy talking to the owner as he will stop and chat, he is friendly and kind ! I always look forward to this part of our trip, eating here and having a great experience with my friends!! I wish I had a BBQ sandwich right now, YUM!! Thank you staff and owner , great job !!

We visited here on a trip up riding the trails, food was the best we had eaten anywhere on our trip. We will make sure to return when in the area. They had very good BBQ, great appetizers, and big burgers. Food is exceptional.

So yummy and a friendly atmosphere. Saturday lunch with friends and was very nice. We sat in the bar area and pretzel bites, mushrooms pork rinds and rebel burger were fabulous!!! Latecia was super nice!

The Rebel has a very large menu that offers scrumptious Smokehouse fare. They also serve many other meals including salads, pizza, pastas and special platters. They frequently add new items to the menu which ups the game time and time again. The Rebel is trail-rider friendly and never gripe about mud. There is also a full service bar! Jason serves only the best foods and hires the very best staff.

So good the first time, that we had to go back a second time during our trip. Both meals were perfect and staff was very welcoming and friendly. Drinks and environment were great. Highly recommend hush puppies, moonshine sauce, Oreo pudding, banana pudding. Everything was so good. Definitely give them some business. Will definitely be back!

We we're greeted with a smile. The young man that waited on us gave us wonderful friendly service ( he was working the bar).We had the Family Feast. We wanted to be able to try a little of everything. Wow, more than I could have imagined. Everything was delicious. Joe(owner) came and checked on us. Wonderful place to stop by for a bite. Highly recommend

Great addition to the community. As with any new business their will be things that need to be worked out but they are on the right track for success. I recommend the Smokehouse Meats pizza, outstanding flavor!

So many great dishes....pulled pork platter, flat bread pizzas, brisket, Mac and cheese, loaded nachos....Jason knows how to feed ya!

Super awesome BBQ joint. Food is well priced, with huge portions. Staff are friendly and great to talk to, Highly recommend! Great place to stop after hitting trails.
