Fiberworx Fabric Studio

Fiberworx Fabric Studio in McQueeney was our 8th and final stop of the day during the 2024 All Texas Shop Hop. We saved the best for last because this is truly a patriotic fabric haven! Spending over the last 40 years with combined active duty and as a civilian working in the naval shipyard, I’m partial to patriotic and Navy related fabrics. This past year I also learned about Quilts of Valor so I have been picking out fabric for a quilt for myself and one for our nephew (another retired Navy Chief). I can’t begin to tell you how excited I was with the amazing selection not to mention the amazing staff in this store! Great way to end our day! We look forward to returning next year👏

They have a very large sekection of fabric to choose from including Christmas and Halloween fabrics that are on sale. Excellent quality. Staff very friendly and helpful!

Oh how I love this shop! Every single time I've visited, I'm greeted by name enthusiastically, (They even remembered my name on my second visit!)

I cannot say enough about all of the employees, both owners and paid staff. Not only are they the happiest and friendliest, they can answer any question I throw at them, as I'm a relatively new quilter.

What really sets this store apart from all others is their extreme and genuine interest in my ideas, projects, and accomplishments. They all understand how limited I am in quilting experience, and are eager to help me in any way.

Although this store is not as large in square footage as others I've seen, I always have more than enough fabric choices to start or complete a project, which is a testament to their excellent buying skills. Great selection, beautiful fabric choices, great prices, and a banging sale area. I especially love the historic former dance hall building they occupy. Those ooooold wooden floors, great lighting, imaginative displays in antique baby cribs, old sewing tables... fun fun fun everywhere you look!

When I find a store owned and operated by true retailing professionals who practice and advocate great customer service, I will shop and spend there first. Fiberworx has never let me down. BRAVO!!

A lot of beautiful fabrics here, along with notions, patterns, and classes. I think I will move to McQueeney! I will be back for more.

They have so many beautiful fabrics, patterns and kits that I was overwhelmed for a few minutes and just walked around. Everywhere you look, there are high quality fabrics.. Halloween time is not far off and they have plenty of pretties to get you started. Many examples from classes hanging in the walls. Everyone was pleasant and helpful so i managed to add to my already sizeable stash! I'll be going back.

Went shopping here with my friend and the two ladies working there were fantastic! They were very helpful. The selection of fabrics was wonderful and the classes offered looked very appealing. A wonderful shop (and there's a super cute and friendly pooch there too!)

My most favorite quilt shop! The owners are so sweet and knowledgeable. They are encouraging and helpful with any project you have. They are amazing at helping you think outside of the box when picking out the perfect fabric. Good selection of fabrics with new fabrics coming in all the time. They want to know what your looking for and if they don't have it, they either share what quilt shop you can find it or put it on their list to improve they're own selection. They have great classes for everyone, every level of sewing skills, and every interest from the traditional quilts to the art quilts. Stop by soon and visit this sweet gem!

I love, love, love Fiberworx! Everyone there is helpful and friendly. I went into Fiberworx for the first time just a little over a year ago with a friend and we were just shopping, especially me since I didn't even know how to sew. My friend talked me into taking a beginning quilting class and I'll tell you the truth, the teachers and staff are so good and helpful I have now taken several classes and made a bunch of things and believe it or not I'm working on my 5th quilt top. Thank you Fiberworx for all of you help and support.

3. Help you mix your fabric for your new project without looking at the clock.
4. Linda, Sondra M, Ruth, Krista, Lynn and Sondra are ready to share with you their knowledge and answer any questions.
5. Great instructors. The classes are easy and fun.
6. The Block of the month is great way to start a Saturday each month.
The meeting are fun, full of laughter and your will be one of the first ones to see the new products and the best part you can make few new friends and see their beautiful quilts.

I’m new to quilting and recently visited this lovely little shop. Although I did t purchase anything this visit, the staff made me feel welcome. I will definitely return!

This is an awesome quilt store, loads of different fabrics to choose from. Patterns too.

First time here and I was totally amazed at all the different fabric lines and the samples on the wall. Staff is super helpfun and friendly. Look forward to my next visit !!
